The Serial Nationalized Indictments Of The Progressive Politicos Who Are Allowed To Look Past The Results Among Local Institutions They Control

Please listen to this interview with US Rep Barbara Lee, of the 9th district of California.  She argues that "tax cut for the rich" has increased unemployment as seen by our current economic situation as delivered by former President Bush.

I try to move beyond the transactional indictments that the various politicos want us to get distracted upon and instead focus on the red meat on a stick that they have dangled in front of us today.

If we do not put up a time series and constrain a person's/movement's own results over time with the indictments that they make against their ideological enemies the present "Permanent Chase" will continue without any material benefit to your community - EXCEPT more "favorable people" running your institutions while you continue fighting your EXTERNAL fight against your ideological adversaries.   The circular reference will continue being "we need more favorable people in power over more institutions......to help us fight against these external adversaries".

As a result the institutions that they have taken over locally are diminished in their functional importance.  That is - other than to distribute the resources that have been obtained from the proceeds of this external fight.   As long as you don't see the value of "organic competency development" as an important strategic foundation of your struggle - you will be happy with the "portraits hanging upon the wall representing the "favorable people" you have fighting your fight against your external ideological enemies.  This despite the fact that they have moved away from you.

The 9th District Of California - Where "Favorable Policies" Are In Place

A few weeks ago we read a report about "Blacks Leaving Oakland In Droves".  We have seen the same "Black Flight" from San Francisco over the past few years as well.   Is there another region in the United States that has more "progressive" policies instilled into its DNA than does the Bay Area?

Why is it that US Rep Barbara Lee get to be an authority on "job creation policies"?
If you listen to the key points of her argument in the interview she is nearly 100% into "redistributive policies".  Again - if your focus is upon maintenance of a people (the Least Of These) and thus you diminish the importance of translating your increased political and policy control over where you live into "competency development" I have nothing to argue against you per your value system.

The core argument of Ms Lee is that "tax cuts for the rich" today means less resources for "the Least Of These" tomorrow.   Again - as long as you don't expect that the growth in power of "the Black Progressive Establishment Political Overlay" and the Progressives - of any race - over the key institutions of power - to translate in to ORGANIC competencies as expressed through the institutions that they now run - you will feel relatively comforted that Ms. Lee's viewpoint remains unrelenting and unapologetic.

Unity Is The Goal
In her second interview on "Washington Watch" Ms Lee says that her biggest accomplishment is the "unity" in the caucus that they maintained during her tenure.   She noted that none of the CBC members lost their seats in this past election. As long as these officials who are said to be "the voice of the Black community" retain their progressive voice in their battles in far off legislative zones they have little to worry about retaining their seats. The condition of their district is not seen as a CONSEQUENCE of their theories but instead the fix will be a function of their victory over the conservative enemy, where ever he might run to to deny us our "social justice".

If our community does not index this "incumbent force" with the present grievance and despair that is with us under their tenure you can be sure that they will "keep trying harder", your grievances transfered upon external forces being the fuel to keep them going.

You see - as "favorable people" gain power the protest that used to be held outside of the office where they now sit are conducted at the offices where the ideological enemy now sits.   What had been "institutional failures" to deliver now become the case where the IDEOLOGICAL ADVERSARY is blocking the ability of the "favorable people" to implement the policies that their ideological entrenchment leads them toward.

The perpetual transference of indictment toward the ideological adversary as the localized seats of power are passed by like a modern day "Passover" is proof that the goal of these forces is NOT "a build up of the Black community BY THE NECESSARY MEANS" but instead we have a purely ideological movement - results be damned.    Brother Malcolm is weeping in his grave at the fact that we now wear shoulder pads and kneepads in the game that he warned us about.

The Critical Importance Of The Time Line

If you don't see how you are being used by the fact that you are so vested in your own ideological entrenchments that you fear placing constraints upon those you favor to produce then you must accept your COMPLICITY in your own fate.

I an now watching last week's episode of "Washington Watch" as they talk about tax policy.  The so called "Black Agenda for Community Development" has been 100% subsumed by the Democratic and Progressive forces.   To be clear my argument is not about conservative or progressive.  Instead my indictment is that those two forces operate within the "American Political Domain".   As a result of this the other domain where the correction for our community resides through management and mitigation has suffered from benign neglect - The "Community Cultural Consciousness & Competency Development Domain".
