I Didn't Even Know There Were Black Folks In Hall County GA Yet "Democrats Who Are Black" Are Pissed At A Party Switcher

The announcement that a Hall County Georgia "Democrat who is Black" is switching to the Republican party has set off levels of angst on the local "Fight The Power" radio station that, if they were Tea Party members, would be called "racial hatred talk". Brother man - I hope that you are not allergic to "Raid" because some people said that this is what you need sprayed upon you.

Ashely Bell Becomes A Republican

I have never heard of Ashely Bell before this press conference where he "came out of the closet".  I never knew that he was an occasional guest on the local "Fight The Power" radio station.  I never knew that there were any elected Blacks in Hall County Georgia.  I know Hall County had Mexican laborers because of the horse and agricultural farms.  I forgot about Gainesville Georgia was in Hall County and thus is no doubt the source of the majority of Blacks in the county.

At the 2000 census, there were 280,277 people, 80,381 households and 80,009 families residing in the county. The population density was 354 per square mile (137/km²). There were 51,046 housing units at an average density of 130 per square mile (50/km²). The racial makeup of the county was 80.75% White, 7.27% Black or African American, 0.34% Native American, 1.35% Asian, 0.17% Pacific Islander, 8.75% from other races, and 1.36% from two or more races. 19.56% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

What I don't understand is why so many BQFPRCs are more pissed that a Black Democrat who presides over a small population of Blacks has switched parties yet a machine's worth of individuals who remain as Democrats continue to control all of the key institutions in the core counties/cities/school systems in Metro Atlanta:

  •  Atlanta
  • Fulton County
  • Dekalb County
  • Clayton County
Once again you see evidence of certain Black people living vicariously through their political party interests yet failing to adequately address the grossly squandered potential that is occurring right under their noses where they live.  The people who are failing them enjoy easy reelection because of their party membership and favorable ideology.

The attacks being hoisted upon Ashely Bell are not meant for Ashely Bell.  He will not likely hear the bulk of them.  Instead these public pronouncements are meant for other Blacks who reside within the flock and yet are even thinking about "coming out" to hear what they can expect to receive if they do the same.
