Does anyone else find it strange that the Black Establishment only manages to find its voice of opposition to a Democratic Party figure on a case by case basis? His actions in violation of their ideological methodology being the most predictable motivating factor for these attacks.
I don't care one way or the other about the candidacy of Mr Emanuel in Chicago. Regardless of who is selected as the next mayor of Chicago - the very same party machine that brought the city to its present point without being purged out of office will return to the seat of power to continue their trek.
Just as the documentary "Brick City" showed with Newark - the "fighting local Democrats" in Chicago likely support the same candidates in the Democratic party up-line in the hierarchy of the national government.
The most wise campaign move that Mr Emanuel can do is to employ an "I Stand With Barack Obama" poster in every Black ward.
This post IS NOT ABOUT RALM EMANUEL THOUGH!!!!!!!!!
From the article and as we look at the words of Rev James Meeks:
"It reminds . . . everybody what the priorities are facing the city, which is about safer streets, strong schools and stable city finances so we can create the economy and business environment so we can produce the type of jobs we need in this city," Emanuel said after greeting diners at the landmark Berghoff restaurant downtown.
More than two dozen people had challenged Emanuel's candidacy, contending he didn't meet a requirement that he be a resident of Chicago for a year before the election. An attorney for some vowed to immediately appeal the ruling and fight all the way to the Illinois Supreme Court if necessary.
Board hearing officer Joseph Morris ruled early Thursday morning that evidence showing Emanuel had no intention of terminating his residency in Chicago, left the city only to work for Obama and often told friends he intended to live in Washington for no more than two years.
Morris said Emanuel's name should be placed on the ballot, and the elections board agreed later in the day.
Emanuel is among a crowded field of candidates, including former U.S. Sen. Carol Moseley Braun, U.S. Rep. Danny Davis, former school board president Gery Chico and City Clerk Miguel del Valle.
Late Thursday afternoon, State Sen. James Meeks, the pastor of a South Side mega church, said he was dropping out of the race and urged the other African-American candidates — which include Braun and Davis — to do the same.
Meeks, a Democrat, said the city was too divided and the remaining candidates should appeal to a caucus of black leaders so they can choose a candidate and not divide votes.
"As long as our community remains divided and splintered —to the specific advantage of the front-running, status quo candidates — we will never see things improve," Meeks said in a statement. "We need to speak with one voice."
The Analysis Of The Words Of James Meeks And Other Operatives
Rev James Meeks is a "twofer" as it relates to the Black Establishment tentacles that I have enumerated. He is both a "Preacher" and a "Politician". He uses both channels to render his influence upon the Black rank & file.
If we make dispassionate management analysis of the forces and relationships that swirl within our community we see that because there is no SEPARATION between the "Black rank & file" as a body and the leadership that is promoted to achieve a certain task - these leaders use their status of confidence with the masses to have their way with the Black rank & file.
Imagine if the community was a household and has an aggressive and vocal husband at the head. The rest of the members of the house are clear about the present peril within the house and can recite, chapter and verse all of the promises that were made in exchange for their unity and relative silence.
The head of the household is present on a daily basis. He is aware of all that goes on inside of "his house". It is functionally impossible for the other residents ensconced inside of the house to gather together to analyze the leadership of the house amongst themselves and render judgement upon him without him noting that an uprising is fomenting and it might go against him.
He will see the notes from any gathering. He will note any comments. Some of those who sit within these clandestine meetings will pass the information onto the 'head of the household'. When he is made aware of this dissension he only needs to make an example of one of them to keep the rest in check. Mostly however, the main tactic for enforcing such UNITY amid so many squandered development opportunities is to keep the masses inside of the household looking OUTWARD at the threats that exist beyond the protective boarders that he takes responsibility in erecting.
By reminding constantly reminding the residents that without his past work they would be unprotected and exposed to the external destructive forces that he has rescued them from. Their dissension is their sign of UNGRATEFULNESS. A divided house is a win for the external enemy.
The Need For Scientific "Human Resource Management Principals" WITHIN The Black Community
The claims that "we must remain united" does not trump the need for more distinct architectural structures WITHIN.
The repetitive calls for "UNITY" among the people as voiced by people who also have contractual relationships with EXTERNAL PARTNERS (their party and ideology) effectively stifle the transparent measurement of the efficacy of the leadership in question. Instead the incumbent leaders and the incumbent METHODOLOGY continue to go unchallenged, regardless of the results.
Despite all of the gnashing of teeth about corporations, the fact is that they are merely a collection of human beings that work toward a common goal as they leverage resources owned by the entity to reach this end. The basis management science which models "organizational behavior" and can leverage specific processes to keep the people focused - IS APPLICABLE WITHIN A COMMUNITY OF PEOPLE!
The key management principle that is being violated within the Black community is the failure to have a structure by which those who are promoted as leadership are transparently appraised based on their RESULTS. No member of the US Congressional Black Caucus lost their jobs in 2010 based on the eroded conditions within their districts.
The truth is that they are appraised upon their results - the appraisal is upon their fidelity to the agreed upon METHODOLOGY. If you notice - President Obama only gets attacked when he strays away from the "Progressive Dogma". He is not being judged on the absolute improvement of jobs or education within the Black community. He and other leaders are instead seen as the VOICE of the Black community and thus he is judged upon his ability to implement the progressive methodological elements into the institutions that they operate within.
There presently exists no framework within the Black community by which the methodology as a whole is "put on trial" for a CONFIDENCE VOTE.
I noted for an extended period of time that the ultimate confidence vote that is expressed by the Black community is not a "vote" in the "American Political Domain". Instead our residential migration patterns in which an exodus is seen out of the local domain where this ideology enjoys its most unchallenged romp. The U-Haul van that appears in front of their house allows the "Black Flight Progressive" to express his "no-confidence" while saving face as he continues to register his voice in the "American Political Domain", continuing his support for the policies that he no longer is directly subject to.
The "Voice Of The Black Community" construct implicitly indicates that the person in the seat of power represents the package of "methodologies" that are favorable to the masses. When he speaks within the legislative body he speaks with words that have been vetted by the establishment. Like former Rep Albert Wynn of Maryland he only need fear replacement if he abandons the "progressive dogma" as he gets too close to the conservative enemy.
I HAVE NO POWER WITHIN THE BLACK ESTABLISHMENT ORDER. The most effective thing that I can do is to put forth a disciplined set of analytical constructs, make them OPEN SOURCE, and hope that others will "steal them", incorporating them into their own system of analysis and scrutiny. When there is unstructured analysis - "The INCUMBENT MACHINE" wins because of their control over the microphone and other institutions.
The Progressive-Biased Media Fails To Enforce The Standards That They Impose Upon Their Adversaries
The article written by Ron Daniels in which he uses the analogy of the "Willie Lynch Syndrome" to describe how "the Black vote" will splinter thus allowing Emanuel to skate into office was published in this weeks "Final Call". Again, to my knowledge no one from MSNBC or the Huffington Post called out this naked race baiting that sounds strangely like what they had previously attacked in Alabama and Mississippi when his former boss was running for the office of the US Presidency.
In Dr Daniels' analysis he says:
At the historic Gary National Black Political Convention in 1972, there was a major effort to instill the importance of devising and institutionalizing political processes and systems within the Black community, Including developing Black agendas and selecting or endorsing candidates for public office. Creating political accountability structures which evaluate candidates' performances based on a Black agenda was also viewed as an indispensible dimension of political process and systems in the Black Community. Though never adopted on a comprehensive scale, these ideas/concepts were part of the political dialogue in Black America for a considerable period of time and they were implemented in a number of communities across the country. Today, our community suffers from historical amnesia when it comes to these concepts/ideas about political process and systems. As a consequence, Willie Lynch Syndrome is running amok and wreaking havoc on our communities.
It seems that it is clear that the first part of this process has been wildly successful. There are more "Black Establishment Machine" candidates of all colors but of the same PROGRESSIVISM in power over all the institutions that the Black community has strong influence over.
The problem with Dr Daniels' version of "Black Institutional Progression" - the central theme of my planned 2011 Editorial Agenda - is are many:
- It shows itself to be counter to what it claims because the "cue ball" that has been put into motion has been wildly successful (More Democrats and Progressives in power) but the inductive force that this was to have in measurably advancing the PERMANENT INTERESTS of our people have failed to an astonishingly miserable level.
- More to the point - the proof that an agenda is "Pro-Black Community Development" is evidenced not by the words or INTENTIONS. Instead this is borne out by the CHANGE OF COURSE that we see when the METHODOLOGY FAILS TO PRODUCE. Those who are not methodological fundamentalists and who care more about the end-game will use "constructive feedback" that are provided about its efforts and use this to redirect their applied force so that the intended outcomes might bear fruit.
As I analyze the silence against these words said by Dr Daniels I am forced to conclude that he is an "uninteresting subject" to the White Liberal Media Corps and Daniel's fellow "LampBlack Yellow Journalist Press" because most of the time when they do engage in "racism chasing" it is not done for their ABSOLUTE repudiation of race baiting in politics. Instead it is only done for the INDICTMENT of "interesting subjects".
