25 Most Dangerous Neighborhoods - Per FBI Crime Statistics
For the second year in a row, using exclusive data developed by Dr. Andrew Schiller's team at NeighborhoodScout.com, and based on FBI data from all 17,000 local law enforcement agencies, WalletPop reveals the top 25 most dangerous neighborhoods with the highest predicted rates of violent crime in America.
This year, Chicago took the not-so coveted top spot from Cincinnati for the most dangerous neighborhood, while Atlanta has the highest number of neighborhoods making the list (four).

Several years ago the elected representative of the Pittsburgh community was on a local radio station. She rhetorically said "The people that I represent who live in the Pittsburgh Community deserve the same police protection that the people from Buckhead receive (read between the lines: Buckhead = White folks).
I called in a few minutes later and asked her "Protection FROM WHOM?"
Every one of these violent communities have two attributes that are true for all of them:
- All of them are predominately Black
- All of them are within the US House District represented by John Lewis
While John Lewis is good for a detailed history of the past of how racist White folks used to terrorize and attack Black people during the Civil Rights Movement, he apparently has not yet found it in his heart to see that the present reign of terror upon Black people in his district and beyond is EQUALLY disturbing despite the change in the hue of the attackers over time.
SAFE STREETS - Same "Klan-Like Results" Against Black People But Different Responses
Today the "Black Community Permanent Interests" are less relevant to the Black political activism that is seen than ever before. We can go down the list of these interests and one can only conclude that people are more bound to the advancement of the policies that they THINK will address the problems IF they ever become nationalized. Sadly the present set of circumstances within these same communities show the big gap between "INTENTIONS" and "facts on the ground".
I can't think of a set of more facts that prove the hijacking of our community's permanent interests by a set of ideologically and partisan based embedded operatives. They are using the grievances of "the Least of These" within these districts for their own agenda. Sadly the rank & file within these districts are the main people suffering from this hijacking.
Please understand the key point of my argument. I am not blaming the ideological and political overlay in these districts. They are politicians in "civil rights activists clothing". Their job is to retain power by doing what is necessary to do so. If this means stringing the people along - so be it - if they bite.
The rank & file in these communities must be blamed because they live and breath the impact of this violence on a daily basis. The people committing this violence COMES FROM THEIR RANKS. All the while they have been lead to fuse their loyalties toward a national ideological movement, all the while abdicating their fiduciary responsibilities to manage the HUMAN RESOURCES that are unchecked and are allowed to morph into the primary agents of terror for their communities.
The primary flaw in their execution is that they have been lead to believe that an EXTERNAL orientation of their struggle would lead to a net inflow of resources (redistributed from others) that will lift them up to a desired standard of living. This by tapping in the national contract that they are signatories to. There is no COMPETENCY developed WITHIN these communities as a result of this strategy.
Ironically the Tea Parties are being assailed for channeling their anger into the political process. Look no further than these "Democratic Party voter harvesting fields" for examples of how this very same channeling of anger, frustration and grievances are used in the very same way. There are actually more areas that are as violent but did not make the list. Also long as the people in these areas are "fed" to the point where they are not rioting - the present leadership over these places are content. Their goal is NOT to develop these people into full competency. Instead it is to make sure that they remain in line ideologically and politically.
Do not look favorably upon a person who speaks for 'the Least of These'.
Instead inspect him for his history of making them the "UN-Least Of These" over time.
