The "Progressive who are Black Bloggers" are attempting to insert yet another faux outrage upon the priority list of Black America. They, the understudies of the "Lampblack Yellow Journalists" are experts at diverting attention away from the material threats to the Black community in favor of a permanent chase against those that are merely threats to progressive interests.
After a solid 3 weeks in which they penned more articles against Glenn Beck as a threat to Black America, than they focused on Street Pirates over the past 2 "Bloody Summers" their fidelity with the real interests of the Black community is at an all time low.
We are in election season. Instead of them circling back to the consciousness that they riled up back in 2008 which allowed the Black community to be exposed, the truth of their character to be seen by all - NONE OF THEM appear to have any interests in documenting "lessons learned" with the hopes of regulating the collective consciousness of the Black community in the future, thus preventing "our legs from being opened so wide" the next time.
The realize that the general American voting populace is far more elastic than they are. They have the elasticity of cement in relation to how the facts upon the ground influence their vote. With their beloved Democratic Party poised to take a shellacking in November as the "Summer of Hope And Change" coupled with "The Bloody Summer" in Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta and Philadelphia has generated strong feelings of remorse among the open minded electorate - what does do the syndicates of MSNBC, Media Matters and HuffPo have better to do than to feign outrage against what some Republican said?
You see - I, a Black Conservative, am supposed to read what Mississippi governor Haley Barbour said and become outraged, painting a Klan hood upon him and realizing the mistakes in my ways of not being a Democrat. (I can't "leave the GOP" because I don't claim to be one).
Instead of engaging in this transactional battle that they desire me to engage in so that my loyalties are sealed - I choose instead to apply the behavior of the Black Quasi-Socialist Progressive-Fundamentalist Racism Chasers into the context of a pattern and then make note about what they are silent upon. The body of assaults upon the interests of Black people that they are silent upon is far more damning than anything that Governor Barbour can embellish about the history of the conservatives in the South.
The "Southern Strategy" vs "The Urban Strategy"
"Progressives who are Black" and "White Liberal Snarling Foxes" make reference to Ronald Reagan far more often than does Sean Hannity. That campaign kick off in Philadelphia MS where Reagan did a "wink wink" to the White racists at the Nashoba County fair will live in infamy.
Of course I noted many times that when the Democratic presidential candidates visited "Philly PA" to do a debate in the spring of 2008, the same assemblers of narratives failed to notice that these Democrats did not pay tribute to the more than 200 Black men who were murdered on the streets of Philadelphia the year before. Ronald Reagan failed to pay tribute to 2 White men and a Black that were killed in Philly MS - 16 years prior to his visit and was attacked. I get the feeling that the more than 5,000 Black males murdered in Philadelphia PA since the 1964 murders of the 3 men in Philly MS in 1964 will never be EQUAL. You see for the Progressive-Fundamentalists that work off of INDICTMENT as their main sword - there needs to be some ideological or political advantage behind their advocacy.
For these more than 5,000 Black men who now reside in the graves around Philadelphia - the behavior of the Progressive-Fundamentalists indicates "Tough luck. You should have been murdered by a Tea Party bigot and we would have had your back."
We all know about the well advertised "Southern Strategy" in which Republican Richard Nixon made use of racially divisive propaganda and fear tactics to retain his base of White voters in the South to go on to victory in 1972. The book on "The Southern Strategy" sits in the library in the homes of many Black Progressives, right next to their book on "COINTEL Pro" and "AIDS Was Made By The CIA To Kill Undesirable People". If they were wise they'd get President Obama to order the release of all documents on both of these claims.
To those who are expert in diverting attention - they are not inclined to note the long term failure of "The Southern Strategy". The state of Georgia, for example, is concluding the second term of its first Republican governor since reconstruction. The GA state legislature flipped to Republican majority for the first time about 5 years ago. Similar truths can be found in other "Southern Red States".
More importantly, though is my observation that in the context of the fact that "Progressivism is in-organic" they are disinclined to look backward at the voting districts that are locked up in favor of the "pro-big government" party and show the grand benefits befallen to Black people as a result of their "mission accomplished".
If their theories were correct and their promises met then the voting districts in Bronx New York, Southside Chicago, North Philly and Southwest Atlanta would be economic, academic and cultural utopias as the prevailing political and ideological sentiments of the Black community are in place. Haley Barbour, if seen walking into any of these districts with a Confederate flag on his shoulder would receive a beat down.
Being that I am the only person on record to have noted the present condition of "The Preparatory High School For Colored Youth" in Washington DC as Al Sharpton held his purported commemoration to Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr I don't look toward the progressive-biased "progressives who are Black" bloggers to operate in a manner that is anything other than self-serving of their picayune ideological interests.
What Haley Barbour Said Vs What Hip Hop Voice Of The Street Pirates Say
I reported on this blog that about 3 years ago I listened into the words said at a "Confederate Memorial Day" ceremony held locally. I did not go there to protest but to listen, trying to understand their frame of reference. I was the only Black person there but I was not lynched either.
As the woman read a prepared speech I heard the same type of embellishment in her words that Haley Barbour is accused of. In as much as both of them are attempting to show their ancestors in a positive light they choose to cherry pick from the body of evidence. They chose to focus on notions of "honor" and "opposition to government oppression". Missing were any references to rape and physical torture. Bottom line - I would not trust anyone with such loyalties to provide my children with an accurate sense of history.
Ironically enough, however, while this county of Fayetteville Georgia still has grave sites where living ancestors of Confederate solders renew the tattered miniature Confederate flags upon the graves and have annual memorials in the town square on "Confederate Memorial Day" - there is a great irony that is likely to not be reported by the progressive information oracles.
As they focus on the offense of these Confederate flags they are not likely to report on the "Black Flight Progressives" who are moving into these "Confederate cities" - as they offer a better quality of life than do the bastions of progressivism more proximate to the core cities provide. In a grand paradox of outcomes - today's "Street Pirates" reign more terror upon these Black citizens that continue to move next door to "Confederate sympathizers", exceeding their fears of being lynched by Klan elements that remain.

More ironically is that the pro-Democratic left has its eyes set on "evolving certain backwoods red states and counties", all the while they fail to look at the motivating forces behind the grand migration outward. As I see it these ideological-transplants are slowly transforming their new "conservative" homes back into the same progressive enclaves that motivated them to depart. Functionally they seek to "improve" conservative districts and then seek for external government resources for the progressive districts that have been conquered so that they can one day live up to the billing that the resident voters were sold upon if they voted in such a manner.
After including MSNBC's Rachel Maddow into my Tivo recording line up I had her shtick pegged in a short while. You see Rachel Maddow is indeed a smart lady. She is a committed ideologue but unlike Democracy Now's Amy Goodman she is an "attached progressive" - committed to victory through the Democratic Party. The key to countering Rachel Maddow as a Black man who disagrees with her is to, IRONICALLY, evaluate her with regard to the full array of PERMANENT INTERESTS that are important to Black people. She fails the test not by what she advocates for. Instead her failure is shown by what she is silent upon.
The average "Progressive who is Black" will be thrilled to see Ms Maddow doggedly pursuing White right-wing militia members and doing DNA samples of Tea Party members in order to determine their Klan heritage. The thing that I notice about Ms Maddow is that while these White killers appear to be genetically programmed to hate minority groups and thus when they kill it is organic to the "conservative White supremacist" gene that she and other White liberals do not have - this analysis is never done on the Street Pirates who are Black.
You see - when it comes to the #1 assailant to the Black community - this same community that Maddow purports to be protecting from "Neo-Klan" attacks - the murderous actions of the Street Pirates are not organic, instead they operate this way due to the economic oppression that White supremacy and capitalism has exerted upon them.
To recap:
- WHITE HATRED & TERRORISM is organic to the White right wing.
- BLACK people who do the exact same thing in the inner city or parts of Africa are doing so because White folks have stripped away their culture or set up economic schemes that provoked these outcomes
Sadly and shamefully this is also the mainstream thinking of the "Progressives who are Black". In as much as they all work upon indictments - such rationalizations are not surprising.
I went to Salon.com and did a search on "Crips". Instead of detailed analysis and scrutiny of this - the most proficient killer of Black people - all I got were references to documentary movies done about street gangs. To be clear - instead of focusing in on the scourge of street piracy and pointing out the organic origins in greed and disrespect for life this liberal oracle focuses in on the cinematic depictions of the gangs as the basis of its commentary. I have to credit Salon and HuffPo. In as much as they are frequently syndicated in the links of "Progressives who are Black" without any push back as the one dimensional characters that those on the street are portrayed - they will continue doing what they do. These individuals are merely pawns in the larger game in which they are shown to be victims of uncaring capitalism.
WHO IS DIVERTING ATTENTION?
In closing - I am quite sure that some of my ideological adversaries will read this passage from me and conclude that by not focusing my article upon condemning Haley Barbour that I have some type of fear or protectionism for Republicans. I am not Lenny McAllister. I have no interests in "explaining" the actions of a GOP operative to "Democrats who are Black" - as if they are going to change their vote with a condemnation of a GOP party-mate.
If the "Democrat who is Black" is not motivated by:
- Failing schools
- Crumbling industrial plant
- Violence that is taking the lives of young people in the streets patrolled by favorable executive leadership.......
The same people who would attack Haley Barbour for his molestation of historical truth are the very same people who sold Black America, en masse on "hope and change" a few years ago. They had us to look past the present domination that this same political machine already had upon every key institution in our community; to cast our stone FORWARD, with the notions that by having this same machine taking over the executive branch and legislative branch that our community interests would be advanced.
Yet though they trumpet the new "social justice rights" to health care - not one of them can point to a public school that is controlled by this same machine that is pumping out young Black pre-med students at a heightened number that will provide the professional services to match the great demand for health care that is resident in our community.
Haley Barbour is the latest diversion in a string of diversions for them.
They don't realize how their entrenchment into POWER should trigger a change in their worn out strategy. Instead since the balance of the Black rank & file is still willing co-conspirators into their message - they are able to gain power but the rare few of our people are inclined to refuse to go along with the diversion that takes our collective eyes off of who has control over our interests yet are failing us.
