Attention all "Progressives who are Democrats who are Black": How does it feel to know that despite the presentation of the grief that the nation's voters feel and how they reflect upon the present political leadership that the journalists at USA Today and Time Magazine don't need to talk to YOU in these articles that attempt to get the present pulse of America because they already are aware of your in-elasticity in viewpoint?
You see, BQFPRCs, from my perspective as a Black man as I watch you and as I watch the "mainstream press" I see that they view the White voter as the key reference for the "temperature" of America. This is not (just) because of the "White Supremacy" that many of you will allege. They already know how you are going to vote so there is no new news to be provided by listing the poll about Obama (and most Democrats) amongst Black people.
- The White Votes
- The Female Vote
- The Elderly Vote
- The Independent Vote
These are demographic groups who's votes are more at play, depending on the present situation with the nation.
After decades of "Black Ideological Unity Enforcement", where all of the elements of the Black Establishment conspired together to keep everyone in line and call it "unity" we have the conditions within the Black community today:
A Black community where all of the key institutions are controlled by "favorable people" yet our key issues remain as aggrieved points. Ironically these continued grievances causes the activists who are infiltrated among us to walk past the people that they put into power yet are failing them and searching outward to protest against the closest ideological adversary. This foments more unity as this outward struggle is executed upon.
We should note that this same "mainstream press" went to Alabama and pointed out that the White voters in that particular state voted 89% for Republican John McCain. They were said to be "racially motivated" in their actions. What we don't ever hear this same body of journalists ever do is to make note of the 88% of support for President Barack Obama, in the context of the economic malaise that encompasses Black America and note that the "White Alabama Voter" phenomenon also infects the Black voter in America.
What do they see as INFERIOR about he Black vote that the mainstream media (and Huffington Post) doesn't do similar investigations? It is quite clear that they are more than pleased that the Black vote is aligned in such a way.
