BLAX News: Insider Trading Caught On Tape - Those Who Would Define The Next Interval Of "The Black Agenda" - Part 1

You probably do not have the Flash Player (Get Adobe Flash Player Here) installed for your browser or the video files are misplaced on your server!

The video above is the closing comments of a 2 hour long session from earlier this year at the National Action Network convention called by Rev Al Sharpton.

Roland Martin details how he plans to use his television show to keep the co-conspirators that are on stage accountable for following the "Black Agenda".

One thing that I notice after watching this 2 hours of the "Amen chorus" I am made to ask "Who is appraising their version of the Black Agenda" to make sure that it is legitimate prior to holding people accountable to a plan that is illegitimate? Apparently those who crafted the plan are the key appraisers.

This group appears to be immune to the fact that in broad sections of where our people reside is considered "conquered land". Everything that they plan to do in the way of getting Black folks to vote for the Democrats have already been achieved in Chicago, Detroit, New York, Philly, Atlanta and other places. Unfortunately we are not going to hear from this same group that despite this "Mission Accomplished for the Democrats" the interests of the Black community still remains an issue for struggle in these places.

Bigot defined:
 NOUN:

One who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ.
If there was a word that incorporated the word "bigot" along with the fact that this same person does not allow the painful truth as represented by the numbers that provide "constructive feedback" all the while that he is claiming progress - then this word, whatever it is, is an accurate description of what is videotaped in this escapade.

Worst of all - they are the erectors of the new "system" that will be used to "appraise" their own effectiveness.  Is there any chance that they will judge themselves as having done anything less than "stellar"?

The most painful part of it all for me is that on the one hand they no longer pretend who they are.  The fusion between what is called "The Black Agenda" and what is in fact "the Democratic Party/Progressive Movement" is complete.

I heard the words "WE made progress in 2008 and lost our way since then"

Who is WE?
  • Are WE, the Black community experiencing strong employment growth by which our people's God given skills are traded for salary?  OR did the Black unemployment rate increase in August 2010?
  • Are WE, the Black community confident that our young people who are sitting in the chairs of our schools receiving a coordinated education that will insure that they will step into the roles of professional service providers/
  • Are WE, the Black community able to feel safe in our homes - knowing that the mayor who WE voted for that appointed the police chief that commands the officers that patrol our streets AND the adults in the community that develop the consciousness of the young Black males are defenders of our community rather than the main assailants?
The must gut wrenching pain that I feel as a listen to this stage show is that more than the empty words that are said upon the stage that are segmented to give a good soundbite about what "WE NEED TO DO" triggers a thunderous round of applause by the 'Black Rank & File' represented in the audience.  The "church folk" if you will.

For Black Americas of conscious this is the WORST POSSIBLE SCENARIO that we can expect to see.
We have the "protected circle of our community consciousness" infected by operatives who have exercised the first operation in history to ATTACH a free standing entity to a host, thinking that they are producing a "Siamese Twin" that has the power of a common blood supply with a dual set of all body organs.   Sadly the truth of what they are doing is shown by the fact that they can point to NO EVIDENCE that a schedule of COMPETENCY DEVELOPMENT has been rendered upon the communities that are populated by unyielding supporters.

Listen to the entire series of videos that I have posted.  Notice how the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT is the centerpiece of their version of BLACK DEVELOPMENT.

Ironically they talk about controlling the distribution of federal dollars........"having it flow BACK into the Black community".   This is an irrational argument when you think it through.

IF it were true that you were generating organic prosperity within the ranks of your domain of control your interests would be to protect these funds from mass appropriation but instead would take defensive measures.  You'd be for local tax allocation districts by which you tax locally and redistribute it as such.

Since this is clearly not the case with this motley crew - what is the truth?

I am never going to mention the phrase that I am thinking of.  I will depend upon the notion that "A rose by any other name is just as sweet", allowing you to discover the truth for yourself.

In notating that they too pay federal taxes and thus deserve their needs to be fulfilled - they notate that they have skin in the game and deserve their just due in return.  Of course - as I had noted before - IF they were putting in funds commensurate to their NEEDS.......they would not be seeking to send money up to the federal government.  So we have:

Observation #1:   Taxes should be paid in - according to people's ability to fund the societal entitlements.

Next we heard them complain that the Black community has a huge amount of pinned up needs.  When Rep Clyburn spoke he told of how the stimulus funds were prioritized for communities that had above average unemployment rates in excess of 30 years.  (don't quote me on the exact words).  This indicates that their version of effective government is one that acts as a distribution switch - compassionately handing out resources based on need, asking those who are "the greatest of these" to make due with what they have.

Observation #2:  The revenues received by government should be redistributed to specific clusters of people that have the greatest gap between a particular societal standard of living and where they presently stand

With the close linkage that they talk about between economics and politics - it stands to reason - because they said as much so blatantly - that the best course of action for the economic development of the Black Community is the continued fusion between the needs of the Black community and the vehicle called "The Democratic Party" that will provide it - IF we look past our present difficulties and continue voting for them.

The Call For "Accountability"..................The Next Time

First let me back up to the fundamentals for a second.

Of the operatives represented in this diagram which models the "Black Progressive Establishment"..............how many of them were represented on stage in the video?

  1. Progressive Politicians -  YES
  2. Perpetual Protesters (Civil Rights orgs) - YES
  3. Policy Influencers (lobbyist groups, think tanks) - YES
  4. Press Operatives (the Black Press - "The Progressives Town Criers") - YES - they're the hosts
  5. Performers (singers, rappers, actors) - NO
  6. Preachers w/ and w/o Pulpits - YES - He called the session together
  7. Public Intellectuals (Humanities Professors) - YES
  8. Public School Teachers - NO
  9. Pro-Union Labor Forces - YES
  10. Posters (Bloggers) - NO (Smokey was not invited onto the panel)
We must understand the set of thoughts that go into this grand conspiracy attempt.

IF the sin of the conservative is that he doesn't mind "stepping on people's toes" in order to defend what he priorities - DIVIDING them in the process then it is also the case that the major sin of the progressive is that he enforces UNITY.

You see the most frustrating part about this entire broadcast is that they feign UNITY - while failing to offer up a transparent infrastructure that will apply some consequences to the "accountability" that they have all vocalized.

"I, Al Sharpton will resign from my post at the helm of the National Action Network IF the 'one off' benefit to my plan of getting a 5% increase in Black folks voting for the Democrats does not result in:
  • A 3% point drop in Black unemployment
  • The rise of Black graduation rates to 60%
Signed Al Sharpton".

This is a set of words strung together in contract form that you will see, but only if hand delivered by a mermaid riding on a unicorn.

The same video in which we heard Ben Jealous say "the bankers screwed us with their shenanigans" is the same forum by which they, like the bankers - have no interest in submitting to transparent REGULATION.

Instead they see themselves as a network of leveraged power.
This is why Mayor Nutter of Philadelphia can sit at the table as a welcomed guest but not have to answer for the more than 150 Black males that have been murdered in his city in this the beginning of the 9th month of the year - with 3 3/4ths months left to go.  No mayor from the old South, having these numbers under his belt would be welcomed as such.

Instead Nutter, like Morial and Clyburn are welcomed in as "agents of progression" instead of responsible parties under who's leadership these problems have persisted.  Indeed, Clyburn - coming from the red state of South Carolina has cover for the failing schools attended by Black people in his state.  After all it is the GOP opposition to quality education that can take the blame.  Yet in Philadelphia, PA - a city that is 85% Democrat - the same tepid results as seen by Black students in South Carolina is blamed not on the party that dominates the school system and the city - but instead on the failure by the federal government to provide adequate funding for the educational system in Philadelphia - allowing Nutter and Arlene Ackerman to have the success that they intend to bestow upon the Black community - unlike those Republicans that stand against the "Black Agenda".

MANAGEMENT VS ACTIVISM
