In no case will these permanent friends have to stand for inspection of the results that they have garnered while in control.
Instead the two most important attributes that these permanent friends from within need have is:
- Ideological compatibility with the masses who are grieving
- The INTENTION of correcting the situation that they are grieving about
Agreeing With The National Indictment
The way the argument goes - the existence of a tremendous gap in Black/White academic performance and discipline rates is IN AND OF ITSELF proof of RACISM. It doesn't matter if this occurs where a Black male in in a school that is 95% White or 99% Black and run by "favorable people". The divergent outcomes prove to be the indictment.
The solution? More funding from government that is generated from outside of this eco-system. The best way that America can show that these are "equal human beings" is to provide them with the money that is necessary to fix them.
My primary indictment against such a charge is that in the process of creating "equal human beings" by leveraging the healing powers of education - these same powers that be never ask the adults within this situation to operate as the primary managers of the outcome of these vehicles that will lead us on to glory. How do you sell the notion that upon obtaining some defined level of equal funding that this is going to produce "equal outcomes" - thus allowing them to be equal contributors to the pot of resources? In playing this game the nation is obliged to do its part. These forces demanding more resources are under no obligation to show the results. If after a period of time there remains differences - they will merely render yet another indictment.
When we make note of the fact that today they stand at the point of power that they once struggled for:
- Control over the schools
- Control over the cities within which these schools reside
- Control over the economic and tax policies
- Control over the cultural and social norms
Their typical defense will be to present to the world a child that has been damaged by the continuing dysfunction in the system in which he resides. At no point will they note that this child is a byproduct of the eco-system that they control and the array of policies and priorities that now influence his thinking via the adults that interact with him.
As a critic I will be called out with the question "Well what are you doing besides being a critic from afar?". The easy answer is that I am watching the situation and instead of being swayed by one individual and thus remaining at the transactional level - I am viewing this from a broader picture and making note of how the traditional constructs of resource management are discarded and instead an permanent activism meme has taken its place.
The establishment forces that preside over these conditions answer to no one for their results. They only need to lean upon the notion that America has a social contract that everyone is due. The truth is that this universal standard is not bequeathed by the national government. Instead it is lived up to by the array of people at the node level. Some of them have excess that they can share with others. When the nation becomes a pure redistribution switch it will soon find that people's demands for resources and the politics that follow outstrips their organic productive capacity. The collapse of the empty shell will soon follow.
