No one doubts that convicted police killer Troy Davis and Sylvester "Red" Coles hung out as a pair that fateful night in which Officer McPhail was murdered on the streets of Savannah Georgia.
The scurrilous difference in reaction among the Civil Rights Pharisees is that regardless of who shot Michael Cooper in the jaw hours earlier - their guy Troy Davis did nothing to separate from the "actual" shooter, instead choosing to participate in yet another assault that same night - setting off the events which left a policeman dead, having been shot in the face point blank has he lay writhing on the ground from a previous shot.
They try desperately to apply "Justice Thurgood Marshall Justice" - putting the police and the prosecution on trial and discrediting the eye witnesses all in an attempt to make a KILLER into a VICTIM of the system. These leftwing justice activists are the one's who are playing without the intent to have justice rendered - especially for the family of officer Marc McPhail - who now lays dead in the grave.
Why aren't those who claim their allegiance to justice making note of Troy Davis' choice not to flee Sylvester "Red" Combs?
Do you know of any "Civil Rights Murders" of the past in which these Civil Rights Pharisees took a hands off disposition against a racist co-conspirator who tagged along but did not fire the shot or tie the rope?
I would support having Sylvester "Red" Coles join Troy Davis on death row for punishment of the murder of this police man. Unfortunately this is not what the NAACP and the activists at the Ebenezer Baptist Church are gunning for. If Troy Davis were to walk out of jail today - they would not lift a finger to have the "real" killer of McPhail prosecuted - in pursuit of JUSTICE for the McPhail family.
Selective Justice driven by one's ideology is not justice.
I would love to see Ebenezer Baptist Church take such an active interest in one of the many unsolved murders that took place around the corner in the killing fields known as "Old Fourth Ward". This is where the legacy of Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr is being violated right under their noses.
