Larry King - Obama Black Support 93%; White Support 37%.......Why Do White People Hate Him So?

In the backdrop of economic erosion, continued wars and disappointment on the left as well as the right - White liberal Larry King makes note of the racial gap in the polls and renders his conclusion: Why do 63% of the Whites who are opposed to Obama hate him so?

I am surprised that Larry King didn't wonder what the problem is with the 7% of Blacks who are critical of Obama.

America is not a post-racial nation.

While most will inspect the level of perceived equality (equal access) offered to Black people, often these same people won't bother to make note if Blacks are allowed to be criticized on an equal basis without fear of being called a "racist".   Until this point is arrived at - there is no "racial equality".

With Larry King and other White Liberals the benefit of the liberal Barack Obama is that the "hands off" disposition put upon Blacks with power makes Obama the perfect "ball carrier" for their left-wing agenda.  A dogged attack upon Obama as was launched upon Bush and Clinton can be discredited as a "racist attack upon a Black man".

I have noted several times on this blog how in Alabama during the 2008 elections with 89% of the White voters in this Republican state voting for John McCain the state of Alabama was dismissed as a hot bed of continued RACISM.  The same news media operatives never bother to make note of the inelasticity of the Black voter in kind.

I mentioned previously as well that we should not evaluate the Black voter based on the policies that he POPULARLY favors and thus votes for.

The proper evaluation of the Black voter requires that a permanent reference to be articulated - our community noted "Permanent Interests".

• Quality Education
• Thriving Local Economies
• Healthy Lifestyle and Relationship Outcomes

If it is true that our political activism is in support of our community interests then we have to keep prime focus upon our interest so that we don't merely become combatants in the Malcolm X political football game.  This is exactly what certain sold out political activists that operate unchecked within our community want us to do.  As we focus more upon our enemy and why they hate Obama (our guy) - few of us will make note of how Obama is actually delivering with respect to our permanent interests.   

More to the point the Black community is controlled from local to national by the same machine that Obama is linked to.  Our community condition should be appraised according to the entirety of its control.

Instead the activists and Larry King see the "land yet to be attained" and thus the struggle before us.  In retaining this context they fail to take adequate account for the land that they already control.

Accurate Models Of The World

The goal should be to have polls that more accurately model people's values with reference to these permanent interests.   While Larry King and other progressives are disturbed about how "White racists" are not giving Obama a fair shake - they should be equally disturbed about how many Black voters are putting aside their permanent interests and are advancing their ideology over the results that are garnered.
