How The Antics Of The BQFPRC Prevents Effective Management Of The Black Community's Equal Human Resources

I realize upon seeing the source (me) and the subject of this post (BQFPRCs) some people's eyes will glaze over as this is taken as another "attack" against the Black Establishment forces.

There is a fundamental difference between my analysis and that which I see made by Black folks that can be described as nothing more than ground forces for external Progressive forces making their entre' into the Black community.  The majority of my content is focused from a place WITHIN THE BLACK COMMUNITY, a critique upon what I see and the means for a more ORGANIC correction.  I have the audacity to note the forces that control these resources and bear down upon them rather than focusing upon some amorphous external adversary that sneaks in in the middle of the night underneath the closet door.

If indeed these internal resources are jewels that are to be protected from manipulation from an antagonist it stands to reason that I make my primary focus on the confidence men who are doing what they do - all with the complicit approval of the Black masses.

Can anyone say that my frequent BQPFRC adversary has the same level of transparent intentions?

The Storm That Lifted The Cover Off Of East Point Georgia And Exposed The Truth Within

The incident that occurred in East Point Georgia this week provides more abundant material for a book than what the arrest of Prof Skip Gates which triggered a book written by his friend Prof Charles Ogletree - "The Presumption Of Guilt".

Whereas some might note that the intimate knowledge of his friend Dr Gates' provided an additional impetus for Prof Ogletree to pen the book about the fate that many Black people suffer when they come into contact with law enforcement - you would be sadly mistaken if you are expecting a book written about East Point.   Such a book focusing upon how the system as administrated by the local officials in East Point Georgia has molested the interests of the 30,000 (mostly) Black people who gathered in a shopping plaza to obtain a piece of paper is not going to ever see the light of day .   Come election day in 2010 or 2012 - there will be no one erecting a "Remember The Alamo/ Remember Katrina / Remember The East Point Section 8 Fiasco", thus triggering the offenders to lose their jobs.

This would require the author to have the sole mission of representing the "permanent interests" of the Black community and take a stand against our long time "permanent friends" that now dominate every single elected office in this small town to the immediate south of the city of Atlanta.  Atlanta, a city which is itself dominated by the same machine.

The source for this blog post is the Black community itself.   I have been actively gathering opinions of Black people from the personal conversations, the news, blogs and articles.  In my analysis of this content the image is clear - there is an aversion to the assumption of accountability for the conditions within which these "equal human beings" are made to reside. It is far more profitable to tow the line and retain the local political unity by putting the blame on some popular adversary - as depicted in the diagram above.

Though I heard a local radio station ask "Who should be fired for this fiasco" I realize that the array of callers would be more inclined to purge one person rather than clear city hall of a certain CONSCIOUSNESS that allowed the conditions that we all saw to metastasize. The truth is that there is no one single person who is at fault but instead the fault resides with the flawed set of theories that have maintain the disconnection between the desired living standards of the masses and what they are charged to do on a daily basis to foment this.

Let me be clear - there is nothing unique to East Point Georgia itself that allowed this situation.  In as much as many of these people have moved into to East Point GA (some of them having been purged from the housing projects within the City of Atlanta) the fact remains that the establishment powers of the machine that ultimately controls all of these places in common are of the very same mindset.  The same results are replicated regardless of where the people who have been inculcated as such reside.

In their attempts to care for the "least of these" masses they set themselves up as "caretakers" of their social entitlements.  They pursue government power which they view as worthy substitute for market/industrial power from which the people would be able to leverage their talents to attract compensation. Instead the power of the vote and the strength of the government is thought to achieve the same results.

It is the confluence of their ideological demands to set a wage floor that no one with a choice is willing to pay out to them as laborers coupled with the societal mandate that "the least of these" should not ever be made to suffer a living standard that is below a defined standard that the greater society has committed to.  With this confluence in place - it should come at no surprise that the EXTERNAL, central government is mandated as the key middle man who will provide this standard which their organic productive actions cannot afford them.

We need a standard of living that the PEOPLE THEMSELVES are empowered to sustain via their own direct actions.  Their skills and competencies are grown when their talents are used as such.

In as much as this unmet condition exists in these places - the impetus for the perpetual progressive movement against the external adversary is fomented.  The mistake is to assume that the local control by favorable people should translate into a connection with accountability that is rendered.  This only provides the entre' for the circular justification for the need to continue the struggle.

We should not mistake the presence of a "progressive government" with their acceptance that the all encompassing presence of progressivism that has marinated through every vein of the community.  As long as poverty and imbalance persists - there is room for continued struggle to obtain a re-engineering of the greater society so that fairness is insured.

The Functional Role Of The Black Quasi-Socialist Progressive-Fundamentalist Racism Chaser

The role of the BQPFRC is very simple - to retain the bloc of "Black Unity" and to redirect grievance and criticism that may derail the forward movement of the progressive machine from its unchecked advance.   It works by promoting the value of the "intent" to help the masses over any dispassionate, conservative assessment of what it has actually delivered.

Though some people reject the notion that a "progressive" can be a "fundamentalist" - the pure definition of a fundamentalist is that they are unwilling to alter their dogma.  Thus the entrenchment upon the "progressive dogma" despite the results is proof of "Progressive-Fundamentalism". They merely "try harder" for their victory over the adversaries that they charge with undercutting them.

In the case of East Point these embedded agents work hard to frame the challenges that the Black community faces as an indictment against some greater, external adversarial force.  It is not the fault of the favorable government of East Point that there is a high rate of desperation among the masses.  It is far more likely that these "Tongues Interpreters" will reframe this as evidence that the brutal system of American capitalism simply does not work for people with brown skin.  Our job is to remain united and continue our fight against this adversary lest he enjoy the final victory in the midst of our internal discord.

As I heard the radio host taunt "Black Conservatives", daring us to call in and tell him how these people need to "go find a job" I noted that he had no such taunts against the abundance of callers who pinned the fault upon all sorts of external forces:

  • The Banks, who received "welfare money" in a bail out and yet who charge high fees and who don't make loans to the people in need
  • President Bill Clinton for taking away these people's access to Welfare
  • Every Republican President since Richard Nixon because their policies are anti-Black - the speaker failing to note that his references to "anti-poor" were used interchangeable with "anti-Black"
As I listened to this debate scheme I noted that such a tactic strips away all notions of human resource management away from those who proclaim that they protect the interests of the community.  Instead of managing these key elements of our community's future they engage in a volley, making an indictment against ideological and political adversaries.   No amount of failure can trigger any wholesale introspection and reevaluation therein.  There is no intention for these forces to do an assessment of all of the key human and housing resources available in East Point Georgia and then hone down the expectations of the 30,000 mostly Black people who showed up, admitting to them that despite their hopes that they have emotionally invested they are likely to be disappointed.   Leading them in another, more prosperous direction.  Short term political gain is far more important.

Instead their goal is to make a connection to as many adversarial  forces, regardless of how remote, which rendered the injury upon these Black people as such.  You see there was not enough White people interspersed within this crowd for the the tactic of showing "how many White people also are on Welfare" to work.  With this "they are in the mud with us" technique taken away - they reach into their grab bag to find other weapons in their arsenal to make use of.

Tactic #1:  Looking Past The Local Progressives To Indict The National Conservatives

If you assumed that the abundance of "favorable people" in control over East Point would cause those who seek to protect this machine to instead indict this machine and demand for process improvements so that this will never, never, never happen again  - you are sadly mistaken.

The opportunity to better regulate their "permanent friends" who operate in the lands with the "Mission Accomplished" signs upon them is squandered as they choose to reinforce the easily exploitable resentments that Black people have against this nation's history and any White person that dares reference the greatness of this nation's legacy and institutions.  Without sufficient deference to the evil and oppressive past of these channels of oppression and an "Obama-like" commitment to make "fundamental changes" to these institutions - a person making such unqualified positive references to the tenants of America that must be protected from the "re-engineering" efforts of the progress - is no friend of Black people because AMERICA HAS BEEN NO FRIEND TO BLACK PEOPLE per their calculations.  They seek to keep Black people poor.

I have called out the inferiority of this "looking past the local forces" tendencies.   For you see - not long ago when WHITE FOLKS sat in these very seats of power that "favorable people" of all colors now occupy - they were the primary target of protest that the Black Civil Rights Movement had set their sites upon.   Whereas Sheriff Eugine "Bull" Conner  was a sufficient face of the White supremacist power structure in his role as the Public Safety Directory for the city of  Birmingham Alabama  - today with this same power vested into the person who now is titled "Public Safety Director of Jefferson County" as Bull Conner once had need not worry about being held accountable for the Black people who are murdered on his watch just the same. The masses are happy that a Black man now occupies this seat.

With the victory of having this "permanent friend" in office this same seat of power gets inferiorized as it is no longer the base of power by which the oppression of Black people is radiating.  There is collective agreement to follow this superior force to where they have exited.  It is this exit away from the Black masses to be all alone by themselves after having profited so much upon our backs that is racist.  They owe us a fix.

What Is The "Value Add" In The Growth Of Power Of The Progressive Establishment?

It stands to reason that as an entity or ideology gains power in the context of the long journey that it has empaneled us to walk along with it upon that there should be some intermediate evidence of partial benefits that has been promised for delivery at the end of the journey. As the prevailing power is the force that shapes the new human beings that are inculcated during the time of their control over the eco-system - we should see an atrophy in the negative mental imprints of the past and a new consciousness from this new regime.

In the face of demands for such an enumeration of these benefits had by Black people some interesting results are seen.

Primarily we as Black people are expected to look at the "portraits upon the wall" of the favorable people who are now in power over our communities and, today, the entire nation should in and of itself be seen as the "mission accomplished".  This merely plays to our notions of pride.  Anyone who opposes these figures are in turn the enemies of Black people.

More shameful , however, is the targeted INFERIORIZATION of the present condition of Black people - making the case that the "3 year old Black boy" who was raised by parents who are living within the eco-system that the powers that I spoke of earlier are still damaged primarily by the adversarial forces from 150 to 40 years ago as well as their remnants left around today.

It is this "transaction of the inferiority of Black people" which should be repudiated by all conscious Black people.   In the world of "glass half empty / glass half full" - we are expected to view that 3 year old boy based upon the damage that the national structure of the United States (and the world) will inflict upon him.  This force is superior than anything that his loving family and the community that is around him for his first 18 years can ever hope to shield him from as they mold his consciousness.

Those who simply 'go along for the ride' and see the victories that are had in the American Political Domain are loathed to ask the questions which dare to link this progress in political representation with the key outcomes that are had within our community's eco-system.  When such a gap gets unacceptably large - the people will realize that they have been used for someone else's agenda, not of their own.

My Proposal For A Correction

My present methodologies for a course correction comes directly from my exposure to management and human resource training of the EQUAL HUMAN RESOURCES who operate in the context of the corporation that I work for and/or third parties  entities that I consult with.   I see no difference between these humans.   I only see the difference in the context within which they work toward a particular goal.

The Black community too often forgoes proven human resource management practices and frameworks for the want of UNITY - the conquest of the prevailing progressive establishment and the dislike for a common ideological adversary.   This can no longer stand.  It leans to a growth in power of an ideology but casts our "permanent interests" to the side.   They become a mere carrot that leads up along but which remains in tenably right out of reach of our grasp.

Human resource management starts and ends with the engagement and competency development of the entity which you desire to assist.  The ability to express their full talents and potential in the context of an order of "directed outcomes" is the measure of the efficacy of this process that we claim will benefit us.

I propose to flip the "permanent chase" or "external struggle" on its head.   After a certain amount of 'enforcement and attainment of the rights that the White man need respect' there needs to be an adjustment to the methods and points of focus that are centered upon  by the masses and leadership.  This implicitly requires a certain amount of willingness to accept the default accountability for development of this resource that is attached.  In addition there must be a commitment to acceptance of the feedback that the results provide.  From this must be a transparent commitment to making adjustments so that the intended outcomes can be had.

There is a requirement to promote the desired results above the community's bondage to a certain ideology or methodology that is associated with an ideology.

The masses of people need to make appraisal of their willingness to adopt certain processes which are potential means of obtaining the fruits that they seek (ie: capitalism) OR they must accept than since their own dignity won't allow them to partake in such behavior that they now stand in the position that professed ideological proclivities have afforded them.  They most be satisfied with their condition or they must change their assumptions.

In reaching beyond that which their organic viewpoints affords them, they are, in effect, consuming the fruits from that which they have condemned without having to face the blood that has been let in its acquisition because it has been laundered from their consciousness .

Very well said.

Let me add however, that this is not a mass movement situation. We need a small independent group with the managerial skills to set up an organization, execute and solve real problems rather than merely meeting and talking. There needs to be some doing.

I believe such a group, after having demonstrated this ability for all to see, would have power beyond its numbers to foster change. This is so because there's little competition in the effort to address real issues in the community. The focus, as you say, is outward.

Genius and ability are not the sole province of other people. We have those qualities and we need to use them to address our issues.

One thing I will say however that remains a challenge is getting those with the requisite skills back into the community to deploy them. Dubois' talented tenth are generally operating outside of the community building up someone else's thing or otherwise unavailable. This gap in leadership is reflected by those who remain. Basically, our best and brightest are divorced from the community.

Secondly, there's the issue of economic or financial independence, which is a very big issue in my view. You can not accomplish much independently within the black community unless you finance the effort in that manner. Nearly every black organization, liberal, conservative or otherwise, is controlled by purse strings from without. This means the agenda is determined from without as well. When we talk about solving issues, it must be strictly funded and executed from within. This is needed to foster a belief in our own ability on the one hand and some respect on the other. On the question of respect, my primary concern is self respect as once that's in place the respect of others takes care of itself.
