Yet I just found a video that complements the shameful picture that I have been posting on this blog that shows the shady characters that the Democratic Machine brings on stage as they troll for votes among Black young people.
These video images are from the December 2008 runoff election between Saxby Chambliss (R-GA) and Jim Martin (D-GA). Chambliss was successful in his reelection attempt. The ONLY reason why there was a run off in the first place was due to the increase in Black voters who came to the polls to vote for Barack Obama and as a result everybody else with a "D" after their name got a boost.
BUT WAIT A MINUTE let's put aside the criminal backgrounds of Young Jeezy and TI for a second and the recent potty mouthed lyrics where Luda said that he was going to have the female who was rapping with him per both her legs behind her head in the bed - instead let us focus on what was said regarding Obama's ECONOMIC RECOVERY - 20 months past the airing of this speech on the steps of the Georgia state capital.
Who is going to go back and check out what we as a people were SOLD?
We spend so much time fighting against the popular enemies that we fail to see that some of the main people who are stabbing us in the back - or at least rapping about such an assault - are welcomed into our protected places with open arms.
As long as they agree with what is POPULAR among the Black community their offenses and ignorance is over looked.
Are you sure that you are working toward a consciousness that can stand on its own when your adversaries which you constantly struggle against depart from your midst?
If you want to see "racially offensive signage" at this rally (akin to the Tea Party) you'll have to purchase one of their CD's and read the lyrics which fused their relationship with the Black community which the Democratic Establishment is tapping into.
GETTING YOUNG PEOPLE INVOLVED WITH POLITICS NEEDS TO HAVE SOME LIMITS ASSOCIATED WITH IT.
