The lack of transparency and hypocrisy between both news organizations on the right and left is so clear.
First the News Corporation - parent of Fox News, NY Post and other right leaning media oracles donates $1M to the Republican Governors election campaign. They claim that this is because of their beliefs that Republicans are more friendly to their own business interests.
In response the progressive-fundamentalist network and their adversary - MSNBC calls out the News Corp. for their contribution. While not illegal the donation violates the spirit of transparency that a news organization should seek to uphold.
The video above then shows two MSNBC shows that are obviously biased - showcase a straight Anti-Republican line up of stories, this after trashing News Corp for their direct support of the GOP.
To all of these shenanigans I ask conscious Black people - HOW is it that you even think to seek your community and racial salvation through the channels of either of these two groups?
This is nothing more than a continuation of the Malcolm X Political Football Game between White conservatives and White liberals.
Dubiousness is not show merely with the transaction of money. It is evidenced by the content of one's character.
While I watch both Fox News and MSNBC in order to monitor their tactics I do not use either to form the consciousness that I have about myself and what I believe.

I remember reading Malcolm X's speeches on the football game. I too watch both Fox and MSNBC to see what they are really talking about.
Since you bring him up a lot, I wonder what would he think of President Obama?
I think that Malcolm X would be clear on the distinction between the "American Political domain" which Barack Obama resides in and - the other domain - which I have labeled the "Community Consciousness & Competency Development Domain".
He would ask "How do you build your house upon the foundation of a government that was your main oppressor?". He would suggest that Barack Obama does not run America. The forces that were running it on January 19, 2009 are still running it. They were the enemy then and still are.
For me I see no negative consequence in building more local competencies among our people as a hedge against the growing uncertainties of this nation and its future.
