The People Have Been Used - Played In Their Desparation
The East Point housing authority made use of a local night club as their distribution point of the form that has become infamous based on this week's chaos in the metro-Atlanta town of East Point.
On normal occasions at this and other night clubs that cater to this very same crowd of 30,000 people that showed up we can find an abundance of posters that high light a "New Years Eve" party or the album release of some local "Hip Hip Voice Of The Street Pirate" group. This bit of information given to the consumer provides them with awareness of a particular event and allows them to make a decision to attend and the cost of doing so.
In the case of the 30,000 people who showed up to the "club" on this past Wednesday there was no such information provided to the masses so that these "intelligent equal human beings" could make a decision.
The image above shows the odds of one of the 30,000 people who showed up at the event actually being successful in their efforts. With more information provided such a person is empowered to:
- Decide if waiting in line for, in some cases, several days is a worthy investment of their time?
- Decide if 200 subsidized units of housing makes East Point an attractive location for their needs
I also learned that it will take the East Point Housing Authority 6 months to enter in the 130,000 forms and then make a decision as to which of the 400 slots will be awarded to the "lucky people".
At no point did they communicate the criteria for the award of these slots to individuals.
The shame for this situation should be spread around to multiple entities who converged in on this location on this fateful day.

This and other exploitive actions are only sucessful because the populace is unenlightened. The question remains is why do so many remain blind by choice?
