CBO - $1,300B Deficit This Year; $1,066B Deficit Next Year = Difficult Times Ahead

Difficult economic times ahead, CBO warns

Americans - we are in deep "do do".
As most are content with the daily political jousting, in the context of the "Malcolm X Political Football Game" the absolute position of the nation - the ship that we are all riding on - continues to list to the starboard side.

For some people as long as they can blame their adversary for the present problems they are content.  This is only because thus far their life has, by and large, not been directly negatively affected by such theorizing.

It is stunning to me how some people (on both sides of the spectrum) can damn their adversary for a certain violation (deficit spending or "big government" for example) and yet remain silent when "their guy" does the very same thing.

The news from the Congressional Budge Office indicates that our present economic productivity is not sufficient to sustain the standard of living and spending levels that our nation demands.  The longer period of time that we pretend that we can retain this standard - the greater the national debt will become.   Over time the world investors will lose confidence in our system and will turn against it.   IF and when an alternative nation rises as a worthy alternative to the USA - this will expedite the day of reckoning for this county, forcing this gap to close.  In effect our "credit card spending limit" cut.

All of this shows how IRRELEVANT the daily banter is to the big picture schemes and "funny money" that is presently sealing our fate.

I'll say it again:  If you believe that you are going to have "Nationalized Health Care" in 30 years BUT you have done nothing to increase the competency of your community to provide for its own health care (and other professional services) you will soon realize the mistake that you have made.
