Buffalo News: 7 of the 8 people murdered had a criminal past.
My opinion:
When it comes to certain issues certain people prefer to make us all "Keystone Cops" - punishing the act of "connecting the dots" for the sake of racial protectionism. As long as we pretend that certain events have no association when it is popular BUT THEN throw away any minimum threshold of validation when it comes to making indictment against popular enemies - all is well. Such a person will remain in the good graces of the Black popular consciousness.
I conclude that some people prefer "Ideological Unity" and no toes to be stepped upon more than they desire justice.
The greater embarrassment in Buffalo New York than the expose of the criminal backgrounds was that the mass murder shooting took place in the first place.
People in Buffalo are fuming over a news paper article about several shooting victims.
The article in question ran Sunday in the ‘Buffalo News.’
Monday an angry group burned copies of the paper.
The article detailed criminal histories of several of the people killed in a shooting more than a week ago outside a buffalo restaurant.
Four were killed and four others injured.
Protestors demanded that those responsible for writing the article be fired.
“The article period is racist,” said protestor Darnell Jackson. “To exploit black children about a past history is racist. You don't see no articles about white children when they get arrested or when they get murdered, and they all get solved. What's taking so long to solve this one?”
“In certain instances they put our kids in the paper right after something happens, like they deserved it or something,” said Bishop Perry Davis of the Stop Violence Foundation. “That's what I'm standing against."
The Buffalo News issued a statement this morning offering its “deepest sympathy” for the victims and their families.
It went on to say “we feel that the information in the Sunday story is an important piece of the puzzle as our community tries to understand and explore why it happened.”
