The State Of The Economy And Deficit - Washington vs The Man On The Street

The gap between the solemn news about the economy and our government fiscal health versus the "straight face" that some people who are suffering maintain in support of their "permanent friends" has never been greater.

I am not a negative person, bent on howling about negative news in order to gather a "pity party".  However I believe that suppressing the hard truth and thus allowing the human intellect to process the full set of facts so that a solution might be rendered is equally dishonest.

I believe that one's model of the world's state should be as accurate as possible so that the mind can be made conscious as certain decisions can be made.

We as a country and a globe are going through a massive correction.  We are not going to pop out of this mode for a long time.  I am not exclusively blaming the present set of political leaders exclusively.  However running up massive debts for the purposes of retaining a standard of living that one's production can no longer support is the height of recklessness.

When the credit card invoice is received in the mail the true costs of the strategy will be brought into focus.
