Philly Mayor Wants to Block Immigration Officials Full Access to Arrest Records

Question: What do you do if you are a Progressive Activist living in a city where you have "won", where violence and dysfunction reigns in the criminal justice system despite the fact that:

• You have a favorable Mayor that executes the policies within the city
• You have a favorable Police Chief who manages the police
• You have a favorable District Attorney who prioritizes the criminal prosecutions for the city
• You have a favorable Sheriff who locks people up
• You have a favorable Public Defender's office who works against the DA to provide legal representation for 'the least of these'

After all of this "success" and your discontentment with the situation within the city -What do you do?

ANSWER:

You find some issue that you can look past the flaws and incompetencies of the machine that you helped put into place as your "ideological adversaries" were sent packing and instead you try to find a new issue that the people who you put into power can become your "heroes" again.  That answer is - to make the "The City of Brotherly Love but Constant Violence" into a Sanctuary City!!!

I give progressives credit.  They will always focus on issues where they can render indictments and retain their status as the "conscious of America".  Just as long as you are not one of those people who suffer as victims of the issue that is no longer hot in their minds - you stand a chance of having your "justice" defended by them.

The "White Folks Are Killing Each Other Too" Argument

I would be remiss if I failed to note the debate I just got into over at the Filled-Negro blog with my rival BET Uncut.     He argues that I attack Black and Progressive leaders for any murders - as if having zero murders is a realistic option.

This is preposterous.

The truth is that BET Uncut and other "Progressives who are Black" and Progressives in general have sold us on the promises of what their rule over our cities would afford us.   They ask that we look in aggregate at the lower murder counts as compared to the "New Jack City - Crack" days as proof of their effectiveness.  For me I choose to look at the daily foolishness that transpires, retaining the face of the victim who was murdered, refusing to allow the heinousness of the attack to be swept away by the aggregation of the numbers.

The truth is that once we get past their permanent struggle milieu and do a thorough investigation of their human resource management competencies we see that their very nature produces these effects when they are left all alone from their natural enemies.   When they are all alone yet needing to achieve a certain outcome the demonetization of their ideological adversaries within the domain is thwarted.  They are not going to fault the communities from which this scourage is originating from.  Hammer them too hard and they lose a constituency.

Illegal Immigration - The Perfect Struggle - The Perfect Unifier

 After experiencing a blistering budget process where public libraries and swimming pools have been closed and great frustrations shown against the city leadership - what better way to reunite with these forces who they put into place than to make Philadelphia an "Sanctuary City"?
