On Independence Day - Fear Of The "Isle Of Dr Julianne Malveaux"

With the election of a favorable Black man to the office of the President Of The United States my favorite 'economics slasher' Dr Julianne Malveaux has had to tweak her perpetual pursuit of justice for the Black man just a bit.

Indeed she provided the complementary reminder to America that "You did this to Black people" but I have to credit her for not harping on these past evils.  Now that laws are enforced and the exceptions are prosecuted via the judicial channels now afforded us.

My biggest concern with Dr Malveaux's vision of the United States has to do with my suspicions of what would be agreeable to her on the quest to obtain ECONOMIC EQUALITY.  

It goes without saying that the government would be the central traffic cop in insuring "equality" and in scooping up excess in one area and depositing it in another.  This is par for the course.

Instead my biggest fear is that after having built up such a system that enforces equality it would be a system that functionally suppresses success.  An individual who now sees that he is punished for going the extra effort, raising his head above the crowd yet having a red laser dot on his forehead to identify him, will soon learned that "no good deed goes unpunished".

There Is No Competency Development As The Primary Propulsion System In The "Isle Of Dr Juliane Malveaux"

I am quite sure that for the bulk of you that previous passage was just another round of "conservative fear mongering about socialism".    In my observations there is a far more damning indictment that needs to be considered in the confines of the Black community": COMPETENCY DEVELOPMENT.

You see - when Dr Malveaux and other "Progressives" speak of creating a system in America where the income gap between Black and White is smoothed out they mostly focus upon the White folks - and doing some treatment to them - so that the "unfairness" in their ways will be checked by the government.  But what about the Negro?

After this treatment meant for equality will there be a strong and consistent set of competencies that are constructed within our communities?   Since this is the secondary or tertiary goal - it is often left behind.  Many will argue that the equality be demonstrated first and then the competencies will follow.  

Few care to admit that the average "urban school district" represents the fruits of the brilliant plans that have been hoisted upon them now that "favorable people" assumed the power over them.  

The key flaw is that operatives like Dr Malveaux failed to obtain ownership for the outcomes from the PEOPLE who stand to benefit the most.  Instead they were told about their RIGHTS and how racist America is screwing them.

For these equalities to stick there must be a foundation of COMPETENCY and the consciousness of how the FINANCIAL underpinnings where the people are made to prove the value of their human resource investments by giving of their own money must be communicated.  Protesting for prioritized funds from the outside only makes you more desperate to not have the system that feeds you to collapse.
