Today I went to K-Mart in a conservative Georgia town in the former Confederate South. I saw the movie "The Great Debaters" for sale for $5.99 and I purchased the DVD". I probably have a copy already but since I could not remember I purchased it anyway.
As I drove home toward my house - which is itself located in another conservative city in a conservative, Republican dominated county I saw a bevy of campaign signs.
I saw plenty of these signs:
As I rode down Ebenezer Road I saw something that triggered a massive amount of terror in me that shook me to the core.

The sign that I saw was akin to a Confederate flag memorial with a burning cross that is fed by a perpetual flame that was fed by a natural gas pipeline. Again - all just to taunt any Black that was driving by.
As I read the sign it dawned upon me the momentousness of what I saw which indicated where I was.
I was at the home of the chief Tea Party Racist!!!!!
Look at the sign!!! I plain sight. The "Leader Of The Tea Party" lives here! I am at the house of the "Grand Cyclopes Of The Tea Party Racists"!!
Then I did something that I now regret. Knowing that I had my kids in my truck I decided to get out and walk on the private property of this Racist Tea Party Grand Cyclopes to capture the picture so that I can prove that I saw what I saw.
Parked my truck but left the motor running. I grabbed my Blackberry and opened the door. My kids asked me "Daddy what are you doing? Are you about to steal another yard sign? What did you do with the last one that we saw you take?".
I should not have put them at the risk of losing their father. I was reckless in my actions.
As I stood over the sign to snap the picture I kept one eye on the house to make sure that the Grand Cyclopes did not fire any buckshots toward my way. I am Black after all. I figure that this is the guy who lives in the place that I took the picture.
Needless to say I got out of there as fast as I could. I never saw the Grand Cyclopes but it is quite possible that he had a security camera looking out for "Those people" he is seeking to take the county back from. That would be people who look like me.
I could have been killed today.

Please accept my apologies. I have been a fool to doubt your vision of the threat that me as a Black man face in this world. I realize that you and those in your organization have looked into the eyes of (conservative) Whites and know that they have no good intention for us Black folks.
As I was looking at the "Southern Poverty Law Center" web site I realized that the "Tea Party Racists" are not listed as a hate group. I would like to volunteer to head up the protest effort against your sister organization the "SPLC" to force them to add both the "Tea Parties" and the "Crips" an the "Bloods" and the "Vice Lords" to their list of hate groups since they are filled with hate-filled people who cause so much terror upon the Black community.
I scanned through the movie "The Great Debaters" just a second ago in order to find that scene that caused me to realize how necessary you guys are today as RACISM remains like a festering sore upon us all.
The 4 minute and 45 second mark of the video clip below set me straight.
I could have been that charred body hanging from a tree with racist Tea Party Racists standing around me as they had their "pick-nig" with a full serving of food under the cover of darkness.
I will never again doubt your leadership or your organization's alignment with the critical needs of the Black community.

Today I felt like Melvin Tolson felt in the scene above. I too had just barely escaped with my life after coming into the presence of a racist who wanted nothing to do with Black people. I too am a changed man because of it.
I will be as serious as those who I talk about are.
Hold me to showing respect for the REAL pain and suffering that my people endured in the past just as much as much as you hold these others to.

The Tea Bag Party are just “haters not debaters” or as others have dubbed them “screamers not dreamers”, with their failed attempts at stopping Healthcare reform, they say they respect the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence but they do not mind passing laws, through weak Governors (no one voted for this crazy) who only cares about getting elected Governor, on the backs of undocumented workers, that will not pass Constitution muster.

I real cannot believe anything that comes out of Brewer’s mouth, in an interview she first said her father had died in Germany fighting the Nazi in World War II (war ended 1945) but of course we find out the truth that father was never in Germany and died in California in 1955. But we are suppose to believe everything else she says, right! No one voted for you for Governor, yet you keep listening to the tiny brains of the crazies and signing into law everything that comes into their feeble minds, it only make you look dumb, stupid or racist, or maybe all three.
As for the Tea Bag Party, their phony patriotism is sickening; they are just racists going by another name. We all know you are just itching to put a sheet on their head? Let’s face it the Republicans had eight years to deal with health care, immigration, energy (remember Cheney’s secret meetings with oil companies where loosening regulation and oversight were sealed), climate change and financial oversight and governance and they failed. It appears that the Republican Party is only good at starting wars (two in eight years, with fat contracts to friends of Cheney/Bush) but not at winning wars as seen by the continuing line of body bags that keep coming home. The Republicans party will continue turned inward to their old fashion obstructionist party (and their Confederacy appreciation roots) because they continue to allow a small portions (but very loud portion) of their party of “birthers, baggers and blowhards” to rule their party. I will admit that this fringe is very good at playing “Follow the Leader” by listening to their dullard leaders, Beck, Hedgecock, Hannity, O’Reilly, Rush, Savage, Sarah Bailin, Orly Taitz, Victoria Jackson, Michele Bachmann and the rest of the Blowhards and acting as ill programmed robots (they have already acted against doctors that perform abortions). Yee Haw!

A RACIST seeks to suppress the access to quality education for Black people so that we won't be able to advance our people
A RACIST seeks to destroy the economy of the Black community so that our ability to fund our prosperity is compromised
A RACIST seeks to undercut the relationships between Black people so that our community will remain in chaos
MONTANA - of this distilled list of what a RACIST does - can you tell me which of these points are exclusively found among Republicans and Conservatives?
You talk about what the GOP DID over the past 8 years. What you NEED TO CONSIDER is what the forces that control the ESTABLISHMENT INSTITUTIONS where my people live in our highest concentrations have done over the past 40 years.
THEY retain their POWER locally where Blacks have the final say on who will control these places.
It is clear that Black people, my people are VOTER NULLIFIED over those who's damage our INTERESTS.
You and others want to debate about REPUBLICANS. In keeping them on trial you never have to focus on what YOUR PROGRESSIVE LEADERSHIP have done when they took control over:
Trenton, Detroit, Cleveland and Chicago.
You appear to want to talk about everything BUT the key issues that harm our interests WHERE they are being harmed.
