“Take Back The Black Community Consciousness". It has been hijacked by embedded operatives who don't intend to develop the COMPETENCIES within. We once controlled this consciousness, focusing our activism directly upon our permanent interests. Today the "Malcolm X Political Football Game" has us as starters and some believe that this playing time translates into absolute progress for our people. My goal is to hold our permanent interests in their faces, forcing them to explain their actions.

How Do We Get The "Southern Poverty Law Center" To Stop Dissing The Bloods & Crips?

I am a subscriber to the e-mail bast from the Southern Poverty Law Center. I marvel at the groups that they focus upon while they are silent about the most prevalent source of homicide and terror in the Black community today.

Nation Of Islam - Black Separatists
Biblical Family Advocates - Anti-Gay
Jewish Defense League - General Hate

I can't speak as authoritatively for the others but the "Nation Of Islam" is not a hate group. While some members might say some things that occasionally cross the line I don't expect to see the NoI involved in any terrorist actions or physical assaults.

I would love to see the criteria by which an entity is entered on to their "hate list".

Worse yet - as I looked at CA, IL and NY I did not see the Bloods and the Crips listed as violent hate groups. This list does not accurately match the salient threats that are readily apparent within the communities that I focus on the most.

How can someone see the video below and not see that the Crips and the Bloods deserve to be on the Southern Poverty Law Center list?

The Use Of "Slave/Jim Crow Images" In Black Political Debate - Evaluate The Agenda

The use of "slave imagery" is common in ideological discourse among Black people today. The best way to appraise the veracity of the agenda of the presenter is to distinguish between those images which are used to cajole Black people into "Ideological Unity" versus those images used to bring consciousness to the sad fact that in far too many cases today - the man holding the gun is a Black man, his disturbed consciousness allowed to fester because the balance of our community organizers are focused on external political affairs. They sell us on the notion that when our people assist their political/ideological external partners in their success that these individuals who suffer from BENIGN NEGLECT will be cured - no longer terrorizing us. In the circular reference that is their struggle - the more damaged individuals that matriculate through the local institutions that they now control per their struggle, the louder their call for continued UNITY and redirection lest our community's long time external adversaries start terrorizing us again. They successfully avoid community scrutiny of their stewardship of our key "Human Resource Development" institutions.
