The first video shows the large stash of guns that have been confiscated by the Dekalb County Police - in only the last 2 months. The amount of weapons are akin to what we would expect to find after a raid in Afghanistan instead of in a city/county right outside of Atlanta Georgia.
With the demographics as they are in the Kensington area from which these weapons were taken from as the are - it can be safely said that the vast majority of these weapons would have been aimed at a Black person.
The truth about the debate over the "Second Amendment" today within the Black community is one that focuses on the threat from those within our community that would use these lethal weapons to terrorize their own. Their own people. Their own communities. Their own cities.
This is "The Bloody Summer of 2010". In metro Atlanta alone a Black person is murdered nearly every day as the warm weather invites opportunism. The primary focus by the Black community and political leaders has been to regulate the guns instead of focusing upon the painful truth about how a person who should have grown to be a pillar of his community is now seen as the main terrorist threat that need to be checked.
The disproportional number of murders in our community should be an index of the degree to which the management theories that are imposed upon our community and the equal human beings within are out of sync with reality.
