2050

As I was conducting research, attempting to determine the key areas where > 50% of the Black population lives today and the policies that are in place in these areas - I cam across this important factoid in the article on American Demographics.

In the year 2050 - 40 years from now, despite the absolute growth of the Black population, in relative terms our percentage of the population will grow from the present 14% up to 15%.

All the while that many Blacks look forward to the day when White people are no longer a distinguishable majority population - the Hispanic population percentage will leap from the present 15% up to the projected 30% of the population.  Doubling the portion that Black-Americans represent.

Let me be clear: I AM NOT SPEAKING AGAINST THE HISPANIC POPULATION.
They are going to ultimately prioritize the interests of their community.  I have no fault against them for doing so.  This is to be expected.

My concern is about the failure of the Black (Progressive) leadership in this nation to see that "Struggling against their long time (Conservative) enemy" should not be mistaken for the process of "Building up your own PERMANENT INTERESTS".

Once again:

In the year 2050 it will dawn upon Black Americans that the strategic misstep of the Black Establishment to simply demand that LEGAL IMMIGRATION be enforced was a more tragic misstep than was the::

  • Failure to build up our community schools while we demanded busing to White public schools
  • The belief that NON-unionized Charter schools are a bigger threat to the education of our children than are failing Unionized Government Operated schools
  • Failure to hold the line on the management of crime and justice in Black communities in defense of the "rights" of the "Criminal Who Is Black" (Justice Thurgood Marshal Justice)
  • Seeing the  "Consumers of Labor"that had employment centers in our community as the ENEMY rather than noting that Unemployed Human Resources will find their own channel for revenue that proves to be corrosive to our communities.

2050

  • Social Security insolvent between 2037-2042
  • Medicare insolvent in 2020
  • Medicaid - taxing state budgets beyond sustainable amounts by 2016
  • The Federal Debt?   - Unknown but the interests payments greater than the Defense Budget
  • Universal Health Care?  Really?
