10 Hip Hop Voice Of The Street Pirates Who Went To Jail - Suffered Little As A Result Among Their Peeps

Despite their infractions against the laws of the community that they live in these permanent revolutionaries that vocalize their struggle against the system don't seem to lose the confidence of those who support them. After all they were locked up by "da man's laws".

Ironically at least some of these characters are used to link their adoring fans up to a political movement in which the "economically oppressed people" are lead to the voting booth in support of the monopoly party in Black America. As such there is a tenuous agreement between these two forces. The Black Establishment seeks political power and thus agree to not attack the antics of these "Hip Hop Voice Of The Street Pirate" vocalists lest they cause a protest movement against their leadership of the grieving communities where they live. In turn the performing artists agree to turn their angst upon "the system" - that amorphous force that is always inches within their clutches but never seem to be caught and put in check. An election victory in the "next election" is what is needed to obtain the final victory.

It is impossible for the Black Establishment authorities (preachers, elected officials and community activists) to retain their integrity and credibility by directly leveraging these forces to campaign for them OR to remain silent as so much of their lyrics are violently carried out on the streets.

In any event with election season dawning upon us we can be sure that these two forces are going to coalesce rather than splinter, each admitting the painful truth about the shortcomings of each.

As for me - I will continue to point out the incestuous relationships that are at the heart of the impotency in MANAGING the affairs of our community effectively.
