Sorry folks. Some times sarcasm is the only way I can cope with what I see in this world.
Los Angeles NAACP calls Hallmark graduation card racist
This is a clear case of "getting in where you fit in", not wanting to upset the other members of the branch by saying "You Negroes are crazy in trying to hear what is not there" can create a profile of group stupidity.
I assure you White folks that might be reading this that all Black people are not this mentally fragile or intellectually dishonest.
Hell, if the NAACP wasn't on camera "racism chasing" like this - they might be forced to deal with the performance of public schools in LA or the lingering crime problems. Since their "permanent friends" are in office now they need something else to get them camera time.

Excellent post. I saw this on the Fox News website and I was googling to find the NAACP Los Angeles chapter address so that I could write to them when I saw this website. I think this type of nonsense from an organization that is supposed to be "advancing" the black community is counterproductive. Much like the rantings of Sharpton and Jackson, who, let's face it, would be out of a job if black people didn't feel they were victims of some sort. And, perhaps, the LA chapter of the NAACP has been having a slow year and felt they needed to do something to show they were still actually necessary. This, of course, does not advance that idea.
By the way, I'm a 38-year-old white guy, not that that matters. I look forward to a day that it truly doesn't.
While I don't share your need to reassure White people that all African-Americans do not think like this, I must say this is completely ridiculous. I am emmarassed for the LA NAACP for having made a spectacle of themselves like this. Did Ben Jealous and the national organization vet this before they allowed them to get on TV and make a fool of themselves? Sheesh.

I would be happy if you were to assure all BLACK PEOPLE that regardless of how much they listen to it and try to 'HEAR THESE VOICES' that the NAACP hears for the sake of fitting in - if you were to tell them that it is COOL to tell these others that sometimes it is best to "agree to disagree" and then get them to clear the "bigot wax" out of their ears I would be satisfied.
