Defending The "Stripes" Of The Commander In Chief vs Defending Obama

All day long, both on the blogs and in person I have heard certain individuals that are known to be leftist say they agree with me that "General McChrystal needs to be fired".

The reasons for our demands that General McChrystal be relieved of his command over the operations in Afghanistan appear to be in sync with each other.  However, upon closer inspection we could not have more different motivations in arriving at this conclusion.

• The "Obama Manhood Protectors" saw that Barack Obama, Black President, President Of The United States, Commander In Chief Over The US Military had been disrespected in a public forum by one of his subordinate career military officers and they seek to have him removed from his assignment out of their loyalty to OBAMA
• I am of the opinion "RESPECT THE STRIPES".    Like me or hate me - I am consistent with my views.  I don't care how much I disagree with Obama's policies and ideological bigotry........he is wearing the stripes of the "Commander In Chief".    Military order and discipline requires that this General who allowed his personal views to get out into the open as such be removed from the mission.

Here is where I get into trouble with my leftist friends who figured they had a once in a blue moon agreement with me:

I note that a short 24 months ago had an active US General did a similar move to undercut the Commander In Chief at that time - THEY would be raining praise upon that subordinate to the President for having exposed the truth rather than blindly following what the "Dark Seth" had told him or her to do.

It doesn't get any more simple than this folks.
