Lt. Col West - You Can Do Better Than This

Lt. Col West - please retire the old "Black Republican talking points" and put up some more relevant arguments.

Blacks Voted Against The Gay Marriage Initiatives In CA and FL
Ultimately irrelevant Lt Col West.  You make the case that Blacks are "socially conservative".  I disagree.
Let's move this argument out of the "American Political Domain" and make note of how this supposed "conservatism" translates into the proper management of our communities.  It seems to me that we might indeed have OPINIONS that are resistant to leftist/anarchical social theories.  When it comes to implementing MANAGEMENT controls by which our people are driven down a certain path of societal order, however, we fail miserably.  There is much that is left to be desired in our ability to support of our own permanent interests.

The issues that relate from the severed relationships between Black male and Black female, particularly when it comes to long term, sable relationships are foremost.  Now I don't expect you, a politician to be able to deal with this, an apolitical issue, but your political statements should support your vision of solution.  In this case you fell short.

Black Republicans Were On The Right Side Of History
Col West - despite the fact that, at least on paper, I should be a strong support of you and your party - it is this tired old rant that pisses me off, even more than what many "Democrats who are Black" roll out to garner Black support.

Please tear up this script and start over from TODAY Lt. Col West.
The biggest indictment against the Black Political Machine and the Progressive Machine that it is a subset of is that despite controlling nearly every single seat in the key institutions that the Black community receives our civil services from - we still have massive grievances despite having the 'MISSION ACCOMPLISHED' SIGNS plastered all over the place. Ironically the continued struggle against these grievances that were to be fixed via the election in the rear view mirror serves as the key grievances that keep many Blacks united, hoping to win the next election so that a resolution of our problems might be had.  The carrot on the stick always seems to be just shy of our graps.

I beg you - please don't claim "Martin Luther King Jr was a Republican".   He was a self described "Democratic Socialist".    This is nothing like the Republicans of today, even if it were true.  If Dr King's economic views were like the views that I heard in person from his late wife and his son Martin III - I would be standing in opposition of Dr Kings economic theories today just as I often point out the disastrous impact that the policies of his lieutenants have pushed for in our recent past.

Instead, Col West - why not PUT THE ESTABLISHMENT ON TRIAL!!!
Make note that despite their POPULARITY amongst Black folks - what is POPULAR has not turned out to be what is EFFECTIVE.

In fact why don't you challenge your Black voters to throw out all of their preconceived notions about right and left and start all over based on the problems faced TODAY.  Have them to construct a transparent framework by which any who come bearing remedies can be judged in a more transparent fashion.

The only way you and other Black Conservatives are going to win is by showing the Black Community How To WIN.  Marcus Garvey showed our community this and created organic jobs as a result.

We tried the pathway in which the INFERIORITY of Black people was transacted with the goal of obtaining more resources from external sources.  This has failed miserably and left our community lacking the COMPETENCIES and HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT CONTROLS necessary to protect and enhance our own permanent interests.  The only thing that this has done is to sell our votes to those who promise to give us the most.  Our schools have not been leveraged to become the platform by which our professional service needs are addressed as we commission the human resources that pass through the school doors to serve in the capacity of professional service agents for the community.

You realize, Lt Col West, that if you are elected - you will be the most attacked Black elected official in the nation - BY THE BLACK PRESS.  This same press who is unwilling to call out those who actually have power where our people live.   They don't like creating dissension in the Democratic National Convention by going after their "permanent friends".  They instead are good at creating scapegoats and keep the masses united by feigning offense over them.

The only way you are going to survive these attacks is by articulating a more sound basis regarding the disposition between the Black Community's interests and the American Political Domain.

Please - I am begging you - drop the "Republicans Freed The Slaves" bit.   This amounts to the same political theater as does those who bring up Civil Rights images today, expecting them to be a fix for our problems today.  In both cases it is not a fix.

Arizona 2010 is NOT like "Selma Alabama" AND the people saying this tap into their Civil Right Street Cred aren't saying much about the murders of Black people in Birmingham Alabama.  They know that since the killers are Black that they are dealing with a situation that is beyond their forte'.

On or off topic, LtCl West isn't running in my district, but I did send a donation to him. I received a perfectly nice form letter thank you with a huge surprise.......not one request for additional funds, nada, zip, zero. That has never happened before.
I'm curious as to your age range.

Too young to give up and accept that this scheme that I am exposing on a daily basis is not worth fighting.

Too old to have the wool pulled over my eyes that some young people might accept for the purposes of being made excited.

I am 40+ or - 5 years

Thank you for the reply. And yes, I believe LtCl West can and will do better. It does, however, please me that he does not have a law degree. As for the establishment.........no pol should be in office for more than two terms for at least a decade, perhaps longer.
That would be our job to enforce.
