LSU Study: Latino Immigration Creates Problems In Black Community
Please add this report to my observations that there is a cavern that exists between those Blacks who have their "Eyes On The Prize" in regards to the political seats in Washington DC versus the Black people who experience their lives by what is going on in the real world streets of America.
Sadly the "Black rank and file" seem oblivious as to how much these the political operatives of the Black Establishment have sold out their community's interests as they focus upon the high stakes partisan political battles that they take place in Washington DC. A few months ago I posted an interview from the program "Washington Watch With Roland Martin". A Black female political insider in Washington DC spun the issue of illegal immigration. By using the "it works every time" tactic of saying "Well you know if THEY had it their way.............WE wouldn't be in this country either, therefore we need to support the immigration of those who come to this nation in order to feed their family - just like we struggle to".
It is important to understand one thing about these Progressive-Fundamentalists: In their consciousness they don't ultimately shoulder the burden of their "good intentions" and "social justice". They are on a "permanent struggle" to do good, to turn 2 baskets of bread into 40. Thus when they find themselves with POLICY VICTORIES yet record unemployment where their policies are most entrenched - they are able to retain cognitive connectedness by blaming the results that they suffer from on:
- The natural imbalances that CAPITALISM creates
- Structural Racism
- Corporate Greed in which they vacate areas where the progressives have created FAIRNESS
It can't possibly hope for total victory because it would be forced to turn inside on itself as it becomes an ACTIVIST against its own establishment figures. Instead as long as there is an enemy they can blame all of the failures on the conspiracies of this enemy.
Organized Labor is acutely aware of the need for a LABOR MONOPOLY.
When unions struggle against "scabs" it knows that absent a controlled labor force their collective bargaining power is shot. I challenge anyone who desires to be intellectually consistent to tell me how uncontrolled/unregulated expansion of our labor pool is NOT akin to flooding the market with a new set of workers who undercut the bargaining power of the existing labor base. YOU CAN'T.
Instead you tap into your "evilization" of your enemy. It is the CORPORATIONS who are employing these illegals and thus they are to blame for the present situation. Those same people who's big hearts fear the deportation of a family member from the USA have no limit to their ability to attack the faceless corporation, charging it with greed. Even when their attacks go far beyond the real world model - they are not chastened to relent on their attacks.
The political operatives are waiting around for a change in the demographics of this nation. They figure that a Black/Brown/White Leftist coalition in this nation is going to permanently alter the politics of this nation. In the opposite of "take back our nation" is their "take over". Those among the blind seem unwilling to look at the places where their theories have already "won". If they look toward these places they would receive a foreshadowing as to what they can expect in the future. This has NOTHING to do with "Black Inferiority" or our ability to govern or develop a strong economy. This has everything to do with a flawed set of theories that so frequently go unchallenged because thought and racial compliance is enforced thus preventing transparent scrutiny - at least from those who seek to retain the skin upon their backs.
I actually disagree with the title of the story. Latino immigration does not cause "problems within the Black community". The only thing that it does is EXPOSE the flaws in the prevailing assumptions as it shows the costs of the failure to construct INTERNAL STRUCTURES to support our communities. So much of our consciousness has been outsourced to partisan political struggles that upon the "victory" in winning what we were told to focus upon our suffering remains as acute.
Don't listen to me - this is what the National Urban League has reported as well as the Final Call.
