Rev Al Shaprton - "Obama's Man On The Streets" - Sold Out To Obama

I will repeat the irony that I have observed.

Civil Rights Leader A Philip Randolph confronted Franklin D Roosevelt,  the President Of The United States about the grief that was suffered by the Black community at the time with regards to economics and racism.  Randolph threatened that if the President didn't act that he would call for a "March On Washington".  Seeing the potential embarrassment of such a move Roosevelt pushed back on Randolph - telling all that he has done for Black people.  He made a few phone calls to address a few of Randolph's concerns.  This was enough to prompt Randolph to call off what would have been the "March On Washington 1941"

In the year 2010 when media activist Tavis Smiley was troubled about the economic situation of the Black community and threatened to agitate against President Barack Obama - the first Black president of the United States - another civil rights activist named Rev Al Sharpton worked to derail any sort of agitation by Black people which might embarrass the Black president.   Tavis Smiley placed a call into the nationally syndicated radio program of Rev Sharpton and these two pro-Democratic Progressives had what amounts to be  a difference in tactics rather than ideology.  

These series of events prove that we certainly have advanced as a people from 1941 to 2010.

The key point that is missed is that these operatives will not allow a cut and dry appraisal of the statistics be the guide to trigger attack or praise upon the administration.  Worse yet since "favorable forces" control all of the places where Black people live in greatest abundance - they are further conflicted.

• What is the unemployment rate for Blacks?
• Where do Blacks fit in the salary distribution in these employment centers per our QUALIFICATIONS rather than claims of RACIAL SUPPRESSION of our salaries?
• What is the safety index in our communities?
• What are the high school graduation rates in the schools that we now control?
• What is the general health standing of the Black community?

Instead this group which has been afforded the power to "self-diagnose"/"self-prescribe"/"self-evaluate" their outcomes by the Black rank and file only needs to focus upon the POPULARITY of their prescriptions.  The efficacy of them are immaterial in this present scheme.  

With Al Sharpton being "Obama's man on the streets" he is doing what is popular with the Black community.  Obama enjoys upwards of a 90% approval rating among Black Americas despite having a 16.5% unemployment rate.   With diversions such as "Confederate History Month" and the fained threat from the "Tea Parties" having major traction within the Black community don't expect the painful truth of the numbers to have the expected results if they were rendered to the community by other administrations whom the machine is inclined to "take out".

Ultimately the Black community is doing all that is necessary for us to remain as we are.

Those who can articulate the power that our history has in damaging us also receive the benefit of deflecting their present influence upon the "Human Resources" that are brought to consciousness as they reside within the eco-system that is under their control.
