Murder Cities In The USA

Using Atlanta as a reference per my first hand experience - this chart is inaccurate.  While Atlanta city proper might have 105 murders in 2008, in Metro Atlanta the murder rate is far higher.  The borders of a city are porous.  Migration patterns and housing policy trigger changes in where these crimes are likely committed.

Of course I would be remiss if I failed to note that in these cities the "victory" has been won in the political space by the people who also suffer the most from the scourge of murder and assault.
