This edition, like the others, did not disappoint.
The puzzling thing about the "Louisiana Weekly" is that it is a "Black newspaper" in a "Black majority city" yet it spends so much of its time attacking forces that are outside of the Black community. (I could make an easy reference to Fidel Castro's tactics in kind right here but I have not yet built up my case sufficiently).
How is it that in a city that is problem plagued as is New Orleans this paper can spend so much time attacking the amorphous threat to the Black community known as "societal conditions that we have been left in" while failing to retain prime focus upon the people who are NOW IN THE SEATS OF POWER in the city?
Quite honestly the answer is clear. They are "one" with the ideology that is in power in the city. For them to attack the failure of these powers to deliver the promised benefit to the citizens of New Orleans then they would effectively be "attacking themselves". It stands to reason that upon inspecting the municipal government and having it pass the "glove test", the gracious publishers of the "Louisiana Weekly", adorned with glasses provided to them by the National Newspaper Publisher's Association (a Black Progressive biased/Pro-Democrat consortium of newspapers) continue along LOOKING for "the problem" which ails the people in the city of New Orleans and other places like it. Their prescription glasses always seem to firmly fix upon objects that are external to the central domain of control which has been "won" by the machine. This and other NNPA newspapers are merely the journalistic voice of the Black Establishment order/Progressive Establishment order that runs New Orleans and other places like it. They are not going to attack themselves.
The opinion page of "The Louisiana Journal" gives insight to the complicity that exists between the various tentacles of the Black Establishment. Though there are 6 distinct voices presented on the page, each talking about different subjects - they all are singing from the same sheet of music:
- Anti-White Racism
- Anti-Right wing
- Anti-Republican
- Pro-Obama
- Pro-Democrat
Instead the proper balance that is needed for the "Louisiana Weekly" and other "Voice Of The Black Establishment" oracles is a voice that is critical of the Black Establishment with reference to our commonly agreed upon PERMANENT INTERESTS.
Think about it for a second - The prevailing Democratic/Progressive Machine that dominates Black America has failed to deliver upon the key areas that are known to be in our interests (Education, Economic Development, Public Safety, Healthy Relationships & Lifestyles). A Black Republican would merely be arguing that his party offers a better alternative. Most of us know that this is not the case. His party is known to deliver benefit for the select group of individuals within its domain. This must be counterbalanced against the attempts by the Democrats to offer benefits to all - yet they fail with the latest "boil the ocean" campaign which is a molestation of the economic theory of scarcity. They get caught up in the intentions and the struggle rather than ever having achieved "the delivery".
Here are the key contents from the Opinion page of "The Louisiana Weekly":
- "US Lags In World Technology" By Julianne Malveaux (I will blog on this in a minute)
- "The Hate Spasm In American Politics" By "Democrat Who Is Black" Ron Walters
- "Jobless Tea Partiers Live In Fear, Denial" By Tonya Weathersbee
- "Right-wing Republicans Masquerade As Tea Baggers" By "I Supported John Edwards" George Curry
- "Census Participation Brings Valuable Resources To Black Communities" (That The Industrial Base Used To Bring Forth Organically Before The Progressives Destroyed It) By Edna Kane-Williams
- "Moving Forward Toward Change" By Edmund Lewis Editors (who attempts to equate the Katrina-era shootings by police to the constant wave of murders of young Black males that took place both before and after the storm)
- "Your Rights Under Siege In Baton Rouge" - The Editorial Board (where the newspaper claims that the proposal by a White Democrat from Algiers, LA to shift all official Sheriff Sales of Property from newspapers like the "Louisiana Weekly" to a state owned web site - for the purposes of cost savings - amounts to a violation of 'your rights' per the view of the newspaper. They 'inferiorize Blacks', claiming that many of us don't have access to a computer and thus removing the notices from the paper has - as Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg calls: "Racially Disparate Outcomes" and thus the plan should be resisted by all "Real Black people". As long as there is some benefit to Black people [or in this case the revenues of the newspaper] many Black Quasi-Socialist Progressive-Fundamentalist Racism Chasers don't have a problem inferiorizing Black people.)
The proper rebuttal to the array of character on the "Louisiana Weekly" opinion page is to PUT THEIR THEORIES ON TRIAL and force them to account for their results, after having had such direct access to the minds and hopes of the Black community for so many decades. They have operated, unchallenged within the "Black racial nucleus", having tied our development fate to an ideology and party. It is now time for them to stand and account for their deeds.
Instead they choose to exploit the known sensibilities of Black people. This is why the week of April 6th was filled with reports about the "Governor of Virginia having failed to link SLAVERY with the Confederate Month". This was the focus all the while the news that the Black unemployment rate JUMPED from 15.8% to 16.5% in March 2010 was left off of the"Proclamation Of Praise For Obama, For He Is Worthy" that this paper and others amount to be.
Attention "Black Rank And File" - if you think that these people are going to stop because they have shame - the results that are rendered and which are evident for all to see forcing them to do so - you are sadly mistaken.
They are not going to stop their fraudulent reporting, their spindoctoring and their manipulation of your focus. After all they realize that it is YOU who are most happy with your "Obama Plate" that sits atop your mantle. You are more "proud" that Black people are gaining apparent power in the American Political Domain than you are predisposed to ask "In their WINNING........what has the Black community actually 'won'? How do we measure this?"
With those who are the "Black Press Minority Whip for Obama and the Democrats" also serving as your news analysis source on all that Obama and the Local Democrats are doing - you are the fool to believe that scrutiny with reference to our Permanent Interests will be had.
They are far more content with focusing on what would be the case if the Republicans were in power.
YOU need to figure out "What is the case IF you managed them all with reference to your own Permanent Interests". They, your Permanent Friends will get over their anger at you for asking them questions.
