Father Of Four Murdered On Boulevard Near Wabash

Some people would prefer that I remain silent about the obvious: The community that is in walking distance from the "King Center For Non-Violent Social Change" is a "killing fields" for Black people.  To focus on the murder of Black people - BY BLACK PEOPLE gets you labeled as a "self-hater" by those who seek little more than to defend the establishment.

The record shows that this community could use a dose of "Non-Violent Social Change"

The people at the King Center or SCLC did not kill this man killed yesterday nor any of these other people.  I want to make it clear that I am not blaming them.  Yet on the day that the man was murdered in their community two fighting factions of the SCLC chose to have dueling board meetings - one in Atlanta the other in Alabama.  This speaks to the disconnectedness of this and other civil rights organizations to the problems that are at hand.

Instead what I am noting is the limitations of "righteous indignity" that is only effective when these groups stand against EXTERNAL forces that kill and assault Black people.  When it comes to dealing with internal threats these same people are either silent or they attempt to provide protective cover to the assailants, making the case that they act this way because they are "history's victim".  When they extend this same cover to the "Klan youth" of that past, claiming they were economically marginalized and thus should receive special consideration then I will respect their intellectual consistency.

Until this time it is time that we admit that there is a problem.   The present schemes are not working.

The tactics of diverting our people's attention upon "Tea Parties" or "Confederates" comes at a cost.  We fail to manage the controls over the "Community Cultural Consciousness and Competency Development Domain" while operatives seek to tug upon the heart strings of Black people.

When will it stop?
When THEY stop.
