QUESTION: What happens when one's infinite universe doubles back on himself and now he is functionally "pursuing his own tail". In order to satisfy himself he must "catch his own self".
The video below is set in the "Shelby County Tennessee Jail".
My purposes for showing it in the context of this question above is not to have a discussion of the "Prison Industrial Complex", Black Criminals or Crime.
Instead the images shown in the video provides a mile marker that points to where we are in our fight through the universe. Indeed we are now struggling against ourselves.
Please note from this video that:
- Shelby County Tennessee has a slight majority of Blacks in its population
- The vast majority of the prisoners in the Shelby County Jail are Black males
- The majority of the jailers are Black males
- (In scene not shown in this clip) The warden of the "Shelby County Jail" is a Black male
- The City Of Memphis TN, from which the vast majority of the inmates come from has a Black male mayor (Note Willie Herenton has recently resigned in order to run for US Congress)
- The city has a city council filled with "favorable people" (ie: Progressive Democrats)
I have a question for you: 'WHO' is going to be held accountable for leading us, having focused on all that we have focused upon - while ignoring other necessary elements that have lead so many of us to a ditch?
Is it possible that their past success was merely due to their ability to project EXTERNAL blame? The worst possible circumstance then would be for them to successfully obtain the seat of power, where the focus upon the enemies which kept us united is the same faux-unity that is going to keep us quiet and ultimately destroy us?
You probably do not have the Flash Player (Get Adobe Flash Player Here) installed for your browser or the video files are misplaced on your server!

My answer to your question is for us to identify the new enemy, understand how to most effectively repel their advances, and begin The Struggle 2.0!
While my seven year old daughter and I were walking to our car after leaving a Grizzlies game at the FedEx Forum in downtown Memphis, a gentleman warned me of the latest ambush tactics of young robbers who prey on fans who park on side streets, away from the watchful eye of the many law enforcement officers that patrol during the games. I thanked him for the heads up and we agreed that the solution to this problem lies in longer incarceration that is more uncomfortable. It is sad that some individuals choose to steal from hard-working, law-abiding citizens.
