The term was used by George S Schuyler to describe the antics of operatives who claim that they were operating in the best interests of the Black community but in truth their thoughts, actions and cultural persuasions were indistinguishable from those of general Americans - particularly leftist Americans. They were not "Authentically Black" but merely had a dusting of soot covering their whitewash)

The question remains: How could she be married to U.S. Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich. -- one of the longest tenured members of Congress -- and unable to afford counsel?
"That's a good question," Wayne State University law professor Peter Henning said Monday. "It could be that their assets are separate, even though they are married."
John Conyers, who did not attend his wife's sentencing in the federal courthouse in Detroit last Wednesday -- though he was upstairs in his office in the same building -- made a $174,000 salary last year. A spokeswoman at his office declined to comment Monday.
Monica Conyers' new lawyer, Douglas Mullkoff of Ann Arbor, also declined to comment Monday. He's representing the former Detroit city councilwoman in her appeal of a 37-month prison sentence she received for her bribery conspiracy guilty plea.

In effect, for some people their "infinite universe" has doubled back on itself. They are now stuck - chasing after their own tails.
The gross hypocrisy and fraud has been exposed.
We now see that while indeed they love "community organizers" who work to get people engaged in the political process. They merely don't like "citizens activists" of the "Tea Party" type. Despite the fact that no Black person has been lynched or beaten as a direct result of "Tea Party" actions - those who are under the "Bitter Black Coffee Movement" fear that the "Tea Party Movement" is the biggest threat to Black voting rights and civil rights. They need no proof. They have a strong feeling of this. If they stated that "ever time the corns on their foot throbbed at the sight of a 'Tea Party' gathering was proof that this movement is the reassembly of the Klan" - this would be as credible of statement from them than anything else they have said thus far.
The best way to level set about their integrity is to scour the same "Lampblack Yellow Journalist" sites that are now attacking Brother Justice Clarence Thomas regarding his wife's political activities and then scroll back about 2 weeks in their blog archive to note the coverage that they have posted regarding the conviction of Monica Conyers.
Most won't have mentioned this criminal conviction over bribery - further sullying the integrity of the city of Detroit that is withering like a prune. Those who do mention it merely comment in the narrowest of terms. Unlike the conviction of one of their adversaries and how this pattern of convictions detail the lack of character and integrity of the whole - no such "intellectual curiosity" will be found which allow their vision to peer beyond the horse blinders that appear nowhere on their faces but are entrenched within their minds.
WHAT IS THEIR PURPOSE?
The shame of the Lampblack Yellow Journalist is that they no longer ever pretend to be operating in the best interests of the Black community. They have no need to. In fact those who do muckraking AGAINST those who actually have POWER within the Black community (me, me, me, me, me) risk being attacked as hating Black people.
In truth the Lampblack Yellow Journalists and their Snarling Fox White Liberal syndication sources (HuffPo and Rachel Maddow) merely operate to "self-chum" the bigoted Black Quasi-Socialist Progressive-Fundamentalist Racism Chaser. They are more interested in the masturbatory impact of striking out at Brother Justice Clarence Thomas than they are in spotlighting the gross corruption that the Democratic Machines in Detroit, Chicago, Memphis and Newark and other places where Black folks live in our highest concentrations. Again - they are members of the BLACK ESTABLISHMENT and thus their goal is to protect the establishment, not expose it. By exposing it to the open air they fear that their ideological enemies might sneak back into power.
The fact that their ideological enemies have departed, having no interests at all to return and continue the struggle over the resources within these cities is not enough for them to turn the spotlight upon these festering piles of compost where the methane gas streaming from them produce steam.
The meme that RACISM is the reason that these metropolises remain as centers of malaise affords the lampblack yellow journalists to continue on their "racism chasing" ventures, never looking past their blinders and bestowing EQUAL POWER upon those who reside in the seats of power today as those who used to sit in the same seats which they protested against in the past.
Who will wash the soot off of these protectors of the establishment, indicting them for who they are? Our community can no longer afford their antics.
