ANSWER: When he has 100% confidence that HE and the ADMINISTRATION that he is apart of is not the target of the Black eagle's talons.
I woke up early this morning to record the 6am start of the "Joe Madison Show" on "XM The Power" via streaming Internet audio. After fighting with my Sirius login I got a chance to listen in.
I heard earlier in the week that Madison would be focusing upon the INJUSTICE served to Black people in America. He was going to have a series of guests in on his extended show from 6am till 1pm.
The visit by Attorney General Eric Holder speaks a lot about the agenda of Mr Madison. Madison asked Holder about his departments refusal to bring civil rights violations against the cops who shot Sean Bell in New York. Holder, to his credit, forthrightly noted that "after reviewing the details of the case his department did not find any grounds to bring forth civil rights violations". These dispassionate comments by the AG is not the focus of my post. Instead the reaction by Joe Madison IS.
If an "enemy administration" dared to set foot in the studio saying such a thing - or more likely in their ABSENTIA - Mr Madison would have lit into them asking "How could you come to this conclusion? This Black man was shot x number of times by police who are charged to keep the law not kill people.................". AG Holder knew that he was among friends. There was no need felt by Mr Madison to "embarrass" Mr Holder by FRONTING on him. After all to weaken Obama would be to weaken his own advocacy.
Joe Madison is STILL talking about the arrest of Prof Skip Gates of Harvard. A caller claims that when the arresting officer claimed in his police report that the dispatcher noted that a "Black man" was stalking the house he submitted a FALSE POLICE REPORT and thus should be prosecuted - just as when a citizen files a false report.
Again - I have no problem with people having their own views on the state of this world. I only mandate that the MODEL that they craft of this world contain accurate PROPORTIONS of the forces that stand against us.

What pisses me off personally is that all of this misaligned focus comes on the wake of the news that the homicide rates have dropped in America for every demographic EXCEPT the "Black Male". His rates have INCREASED.
Some people ask me "Why do you always revert to the "Black Street Pirate" when we are talking about other subjects?"
ANSWER: BECAUSE I see YOUR aversion to focusing on this great problem and your distracted focus on other issue in which YOU can serve up an INDICTMENT upon your favorite target IS the more deadly point of OBFUSCATION than what YOU can accuse ME of.
Admittedly I don't listen to Joe Madison enough to form a character assessment of him as I have upon many of his contemporaries. He did become a political independent, moving away from the Democratic Party - is about all that I know. I suspect that he is among the long list of people who have renounced the party ONLY because they are not "left enough" for his tastes. Thus he has not taken a position against their policies only their EFFECTIVENESS at obtaining them.
If only Mr Madison and the other "Voice of the Black Establishment" media operatives would make a stack ranking of the key problems facing our community and more directly address them, dropping their affinity to protect those who are in control over the institutions which are failing our local communities.
For every "Police Shooting of a Black Man" around the nation there is no less than 100 "Street Pirate" Shooting of a Black Man that goes unchallenged.
