Hey Stacks:
Here is my routine with the WHITE MAN'S SHOES.
I have a store front operation.
He drops off his shoes for me to shine.
I OUTSOURCE the operation to the Hispanic owned business who has an ACTUAL shoe repair business up the street.
I my store front I have no polishing machines. I only have walls and walls of shoes being received and delivered to the White Man.
HERE IS THE TRICK though Stacks:
I HAVE A 300% MARK UP on my Shoe signing services to the WHITE FOLKS. I profit greatly from EVERY WHITE MAN YOU SEND MY WAY. THANK YOU. You feed my family with your ignorance
I retain my DIGNITY, greeting every White Man who walks into my shop, shaking his hand and looking him squarely in the eyes.
I then look at his shoes that he hands me and based on the wear pattern of his shoes I can tell him:
* He has a bad posture - giving him a referral to the Chiropractor down the street
* He is over weight - sending business to the personaltrainer
* He walks in water too frequently with his dress shoes - sending him to the shoe store that sells work boots.
You see Stacks - it is NOT that I "Shine The White Man's SHOES FOR MONEY". The fact is that I provide a VALUED SERVICE, trusted consultation and ABUNDANT FLOW OF REVENUE for the other businesses in my local economic eco-system.
I COULD NOT DO IT WITH OUT YOU.

Please keep sending WHITE MEN my way for ME TO SHINE THEIR SHOES.
I SMILE at them because I realize that with the VALUED SERVICE that I provide to them THE CONTENTS OF THEIR WALLETS will end up in my own.
Not because of SOCIAL JUSTICE THEORY but because of the EXCHANGE OF SERVICES BETWEEN PEERS!!!!
The smile is merely to express appreciation for their business.

Summary - I can't control how someone thinks about me. I can merely leverage their views - using them to benefit me or sully my spirit.
