From Bashing Corporations To Throwing A Bash That Was Paid For By Corporate Donors
Let me be clear: I see the power and benefit of corporations in organizing the various resources under their control (including human resources) toward more productive ends than what is possible without them. Clearly - despite their words that indicate otherwise - the Congressional Black Caucus sees things as I do. It is clear that their words of criticism are merely spoken with the hopes of garnering attention from these same corporations. By greasing the skids of these critics, contributing money to the causes that they favor - they can be pacified a bit.
But this story "ain't" about the Congressional Black Caucus. Instead I will keep an eye out for those loyal followers of the CBC who believe in their stance against the corporations. Lets see if they demand that these fund raising practices stop. Stop "taking money from the enemy".

Videos Of Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Events
The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation — a charity dedicated to internships, public policy research and healthy living among African Americans — spends more on its special events than it does on scholarships, internships and its health and education programs, according to an analysis by The New York Times. Money is donated to finance the Annual Legislative Conference by corporations and labor unions that often also turn to the members of the black caucus for support on their issues in Congress. But the donations to the foundation are not subject to limits, like contributions to political campaigns are.
