BLAX News - Jesse, Dick & Jim On The Importance Of Deficits

BLAX News Network - Providing the opportunity for you to see with your own eyes that for some people it is not "What Is Said" but "Who Says It".  If they like that person expect solemn praise.  If they don't - well......see for yourself.

BLAX News Exhibit #1:

Jesse Jackson: Forget The Deficit We Need Jobs

Please note that every "push" upon Obama from a Black Establishment figure must be tempered by an attack upon a Republican strawman.  The domination of Democratic control over the government - national and local - has no impact on the presence of these attacks on the enemy.

Jesse Jackson:
Republicans argue that the president's recovery plan has failed. Then they prescribe the same poison that created the breakdown in the first place. They want more top-end tax cuts, more breaks for business, more deregulation. We tried tax cuts under Bush; it leads nowhere.

The reality is that the recovery plan created or saved millions of jobs. Aid to states and localities kept teachers and police from being laid off in large numbers. Spending on infrastructure helped put some to work. Investment in new energy created new jobs. Aid to the unemployed -- extending unemployment benefits, subsidizing health care COBRA payments, and providing food stamps -- put money into the pockets of those who need it most.
Jesse Jackson is the best "street press secretary" that Obama could hope for.  He has adopted the Obama talking point about the jobs that have been created.

BLAX News Exhibit #2:
Vice-President Richard Cheney - "Deficits Don't Matter"

Dick Cheney's Comments Become A Political Hot Potato For Obama

First let me say that this comment is preposterous.  Indeed deficits do matter.  In fact a one year deficit turns into a LONG TERM DEBT when not paid back.

The author of the article above makes note that "Obama inherited a historically large deficit."  This is true.  The fact is, however, that sense a "deficit" is an ANNUAL construct the 2011 budget which has this administration's finger prints all over it can't be blamed on the previous administration.  As a nation we are choosing to retain a STANDARD OF LIVING that our present economic output cannot sustain.  Thus DEFICIT and DEBT are the unenviable result.

Our currency and economy is shifting from "fiat currency" over to "funny money" akin to Monopoly.

Deficits do matter.  Think not at your own peril

BLAX News Exhibit #3:
House Majority Whip - Jim Clyburn - (D-SC): "We Need To SPEND Our Way Out Of This Recession"

Hummm.  Do I analyze this from the perspective that, according to Economists - the Recession has already ended and thus the Obama Administration has ALREADY taken credit for "ending the recession".  In addition the "Obama Manhood Protectors" have already adopted this talking point, noting how Obama has saved us from the "Bush Provoked Destruction of the American Economy"?

Side note:  Do you notice how we never hear the fact that this is the 4th straight year of Democratic Control over both houses of Congress?   Since so many people don't know about our "co-equal" branches of government maybe we need civics lessons in our schools.

"We've got to make some decisions here as to what's in the best interests of our country going forward," Clyburn said during an appearance on Fox News. "And I think the best interest is to invest in education, control these deficits, while at the same time trying to get people back to work."

"We're not going to save our way out of this recession," the majority whip added. "We've got to spend our way out of this recession, and I think most economists know that."

"You're not going to bring down the deficits, you're not going to eliminate these problems without growing this economy," he said. "And you're not going to grow the economy by wishing it; you've got to invest in it. And that's what we're doing with this budget."

I got it!!!
Recall how then Secretary Of State Colin Powell was dinged for "Going Along With The Bush Administration When He Knew In His Heart He Was Being Used As A Mere Mouth Piece"? This is the role that Rep Clyburn is playing with regard to the present administration.

This one year budget is merely another step forward toward the economic insolvency of the United States' government. Unlike many "THIS AIN'T ONLY ABOUT OBAMA" with me. The entire system of operatives are the source of the problem. Wall Street and Main Street suck the "mother pig dry" at their own peril.

Hello everyone...

quote- The author of the article above makes note that "Obama inherited a historically large deficit." /quote

Obama was apart of that administration and a huge part of the problem he helped to create, so he rightly inherited the consequences of his liberal policies.

Also, let's not forget that some of the TARP is being repaid, but you would be hard pressed to hear any of these bloggers question where are all the millions, in the so-called stimulus that was suppose to create jobs?

Per the words of "Obama Manhood Protectors":

During Bush: "Clinton left us with a budget surplus........even though we don't have to detail HOW this money appeared"

During Obama: "Bush left us with a deficit and thus WE MUST SPEND OUR WAY OUT OF THIS RECESSION"

After Obama: "Yes Obama left a deficit but Bush's damage was worse that what we thought. That's why 98% of Blacks need to vote for Nancy Pelosi 2016"

ha ha....

I also wonder if they'd look seriously enough to see that the deficit spiked after the dems were the majority in 2007.

It's an interesting concept to buy things we don't need, WE'RE STILL LEFT WITH A DEFICIT. ... I'm shaking my head here lol :)

Sorry to double post but I wanted to edit the last paragraph in my first comment.

It should have read:

Also, let's not forget that some of the TARP is being repaid, but you would be hard pressed to hear any of these bloggers question where are all the billions, in the so-called stimulus that was suppose to create jobs and keep us from experiencing what we are now experiencing.
