How The Anti-Capitalistic American Sees The American Economy

The spirit of the "Spitting Cobra" has bit me today.

Here is my understanding of how those who are predisposed to stand against American capitalism see the "exploitative effects" that it renders.

Many of the people who think in such a way will talk about the world economy as a "ZERO SUM GAME".

A "zero sum game" is a truism ONLY when you have all of the resources in this closed system at play.  Thus as one group takes more "marbles" it can only come from someone who had to yield their marbles.

The key flaw in the application of this concept is that the person who cleaves to this notion rarely notates that there are massive amounts of HUMAN RESOURCES and resources of other forms that have yet to be deployed and thus the point of 'maximum deployment' has not been attained and thus the 'zero sum game' is not in effect.

They are more inclined to view the "opportunities" that the present state of affairs has exposed to them at present; example" "freshman seats" at a competitive college.    They are disinclined to consider their ability to open new colleges, or as we are seeing today - make use of new information transmission mediums by which education related information can be distributed and, upon receipt and processing by the intended recipient - having it turned into knowledge for application for their future benefit.
