Once again I must express my regret for having failed to master the art of freehand drawing. Had I developed this skill I would apply it toward becoming a more effective Editorial Cartoonist. Instead I am forced to use "clip art" as a means of expressing my viewpoint visually.
The above "editorial cartoon" represents the perspective that I have gleaned from those who I call "Black Quasi-Socialist Progressive-Fundamentalist Racism Chasers". This cartoon, as with the label, is not meant to be slanderous toward them. Instead it is an attempt to accurately model their thoughts and proclivities. My only goal is to model them so that a better understanding might be had about the Black community and the issues that we face. This is the area of my focus because, unlike the so-called "Black Conservative" that they focus the lion's share of their attention on - THEY HAVE THE MONOPOLY POWER.........WITHIN THE BLACK COMMUNITY. Thus my focus is in line with the "proportionality filter" that I have previously defined.
The Black Man Within "The Belly Of The Beast" Being Burned By Its Stomach Acids Or Outside Of The Beast Being Charred By The Flames That It Spews
This is a perfect encapsulation of the prevailing perspectives held by the BQPFRC with reference to their home country.
So much of his political and social commentary and critique is focused upon "putting the United States on trial" and rendering justice against it as they fortify their own world view.
Keep in mind that I did not accuse them of being anti-American across the board. They are not!!! There are some among them who are "Anti-America Americans" though. Instead the bulk of their perspective is far more nuanced.
In my analysis they see America as a deeply flawed nation and that their mission is to "FIX America" by making a run at placing the political control of the machinations of America in the hands of "favored progressives". Their perpetual struggle is against the "conservatives" who they blame for America's shortcomings. In this context "conservative" means those who will to retain the essential elements of America that have defined it and thus those elements upon which the legacy of exploitation has flowed.
Their course is set upon the "Redemption Of America" to the rest of the world that has "suffered greatly" from its wrath.
The Flaws In Their Strategy
The centerpiece of my disagreement with the BQFPRC is not my intention to oppose the progress of the members of the "Black Diaspora" globally. Instead as I inspect their antics I am force to agree with the views of the intellectual of the past who has influenced me - George S Schuyler.
Schuyler noted that in their struggles during the "roaring twenties" this same group of Black Progressives were merely "lampblack". Little about their agenda differed from the agenda held by Whites with the same ideological bent. In as much as today's Black Establishment Media operative loves to tag the "Black Conservative" as the mouthpiece of the "White Conservative" the truth is that the BQPFRC takes well to the company of the White Progressive extreme as seen on venues like "Democracy Now", MSNBC or various independent progressive-fundamentalist forums. In true "a fish don't know he wet" style - their viewpoints are "room temperature" with these, their fellow travellers.
In as much as they resent the "Beast" they have done little to develop ORGANIC competencies during their time spent within the protection of its stomach lining. I firmly believe that some future historian studying the eventual fate of the American Negro will look at the time between the 1960's attainment of our statutory freedom and the time when this nation of ours goes fiscally insolvent and ask the question: "Why did they choose the route of AMERICAN CONSUMPTION and thus collapse with the others? Why didn't they seek to use their prized vantage point to develop organic competencies so that they could be of direct service to their brothers and sisters spread throughout the diaspora but far less fortunate?
WHAT THEN WAS THE PURPOSE OF THEIR POLITICAL ACTIVISM BEYOND SELF-INDULGENT PURPOSES?
