The CBC In The Age Of Obama - They Are In "Politically Safe Districts" But Are The People Safe In The District?

Questions remain about how hard Obama can fight for the anti-poverty, education and health care proposals that helped him win near-universal support from black voters. There also is a growing realization that he will likely face years of criticism — some of it motivated by race — over his administration's response to a sour economy and other issues.

Some in the CBC acknowledge Obama must govern more from the center to be a successful president. However, many of the group's more liberal lawmakers expect him to seize the opportunity created by strong Democratic control of Congress to push through initiatives that have long been blocked by Republicans, such as public health insurance and sharp funding increases for urban development.

Some issues within the Black community are so obvious to me. The frustrations I hear loud and clear. The ironies scream out louder but few hear.

It is all too clear to me that certain Black Political establishment operatives are out for POWER, not for a fix to the issues within the Black community.

Thus to read the words told to the CBC by Barack Obama is indicative of the problem that our communities face:

In a conference call recently, Obama reminded CBC members that most of them represent politically safe districts, and that Democrats must look out for the interests of vulnerable moderates to maintain majorities and achieve their goals.

My argument is that THE PROBLEM IS that too many of the CBC members COME FROM POLITICALLY SAFE DISTRICTS. These districts were racially gerrymandered so that a certain quantity of Black people would be in the district - even if the district does not follow natural boundaries. A Black district is a left-wing, liberal district. The higher percentage of Black people - the more radical left the member will be.

The COMMUNITY would benefit if the there was more competition of ideas and more diversity within the districts. Let's be honest - a strong majority Black district which has major problems related to poverty is more inclined to blame "the system" for their problems and thus they will elect leadership who will go on the permanent outward chase. A more balanced district would tend to place a check upon this tendency and are far more inclined to hold the machine in power accountable for the conditions of the district.

Shamefully - the ideological bigotry that is strong within the Black community insures that the conditions within these places remain functionally unmanaged.

The CBC conference draws thousands of elected officials, business leaders and other professionals from around the country.

So far this week, the White House has gone out of its way to reassure them that it is committed to generating new opportunities for minorities. Along with Obama's Saturday address, the administration dispatched a team of Cabinet secretaries to earlier panel discussions to highlight initiatives for creating jobs, improving education and preventing home foreclosures.

"It's still very early and people are hopeful that things will get done," said Valerie Maholmes, a behavioral scientist from Washington who was attending a Thursday session on rebuilding the economy.

Many attendees said they remain incredibly proud that the nation elected a black president and are optimistic about the future, despite the economy.

"I think for the first time probably in the history of America the black community feels they are in a position of power," said James Bryant, a union leader from San Francisco. "I think African-Americans think there is no more wall."

Bryant and others said they anticipated that Obama would face fierce resistance from the right. But some said they don't understand the intensity and sometimes personal nature of the opposition.

I don't have a problem with Black people's PRIDE IN BARACK OBAMA.
I have a problem with too many people's inability to make note where their PRIDE ends and their PERMANENT INTERESTS take over.

Interestingly enough - today I read an article that indicated that the Chicago City Council has voted to cover any Olympic based losses using city financial resources. The first thing I thought of upon reading this was last year's protests in Chicago about school funding.

How is it that the city council that could not find money to full fund their schools can find money for backing the Olympic games?

CHICAGO - The mayor, the president and Oprah Winfrey may hope to return to Chicago from Copenhagen with the 2016 Olympic Games, but some around town hope the International Olympic Committee deems the Second City the second city.

As in second to Rio de Janeiro. Or Tokyo. Or Madrid.

The opposition is not as visible as the "We Back the Bid" signs plastered across town. But in a city all too familiar with stories of public corruption and problems with public services, there is serious concern the games can only mean more troubles — and bills — for residents

"I know it's going to cost us money somehow," said Joseph Patrick, a 51-year-old stay-at-home dad. "The government doesn't have a job (so) the only place they can get money is from us."

A new Web site — Chicagoansforrio.com — is the talk of the town and features the game “Match the Olympic host with its estimated budget overrun.” About 170 protesters marched outside City Hall on Tuesday night, many insisting that no matter what organizers say, the games will push people from their homes, lead to more corruption and raise taxes.

"I don't believe anything the city and the 2016 committee says," said Larry Rivkin, who grew up in Chicago.

At least one person was later arrested for trying to interfere with workers erecting Olympic symbols in a downtown plaza.

Recall a few weeks ago I pointed out how left-wing operative Rachel Maddow was being channeled by the king of the Black Quasi-Socialist Progressive-Fundamentalist Racism Chasers, my friend BET Uncut to slander the Southern states by using the Black residents living within as "Poster Children" of "The Least Of These".

Today in the USA Today there is a story by David Person who appears to be a Black man living in the South on the subject of the cross section between culture, dietary habits and obesity. As a person who has the majority of my extended family in the South his article perfectly echoed my experiences in traveling to the houses of relatives and them seeking to push food on you.

I am not going to lie to you. As I am typing I am thinking of one of my mother's cousin who is the best cook in the world. Every time the family hears that I am coming to South Carolina for a visit - she goes out of her way to make me her famous pot roast and collard greens. I told her that I am going to leave my wife and kids and move in with her like a son that she can't shake loose. This woman can throw down in the kitchen. I would probably gain 50 more pounds if I did live in the general area. Most of them are obese. The bigger problem is that it is so accepted in their culture.

The key thing that I resent about the messages of Maddow and BET Uncut is that they seek to transpose what is a cultural issue amongst the people into a problem of the lack of GOVERNMENT COMMITMENT to achieve better health care outcomes. It just so happens that these forces also hope to displace the conservative governments in these states.

The perversion of their point is that they tacitly admit what I have been saying about progressivism for years - The WORST possible situation that they can think of is to allow the people to BE ALL BY THEMSELVES and produce the outcomes that their behavior produces. They want the government to always be one step ahead of the people and to "refine" them into descent citizens.

Ironically those who buy into this ideology are tacitly buying into the notion that the people are in fact "the least of these" and that their only knowledge comes from that which the goverment provides. In as much as the conservative dogma is a hands off dogma it is the HANDS OFF DISPOSITION that produces a situation of neglect.

Get this - The high rate of death and debilitating diseases (diabetes, high blood pressure, etc) among Black people should be indexed to the rate that WOULD HAVE BEEN THE CASE had the government interdicted. Thus, just as the freshman Democrat who recently made the shameless posters about "Republicans Wanting People To Die" - failure for the government to functionally take the spoons out of the mouths of Black people means that the conservative, hands off disposition of the government is DEADLY TO BLACKS.

They are tacitly admitting that IGNORANCE IS DEADLY TO EVERYONE.

Once again we see it as permissible to infer that Black people are IGNORANT about our health as long as assuming the "Least of These" disposition leads to a better outcome. Of course that outcome is having the GOVERNMENT take a greater control over what we put into our mouths.

I actually have empathy for this lady. She was once a Commissioner in Cobb County Georgia.

Roll back the clock about 2 or 3 years ago. She was a sitting Cobb County commissioner. She held a press conference with her lawyer by her side and the local social justice group "10-10-20" on the stage.

She was filing a lawsuit against the county government. She had claimed that they treated her in a prejudiced manner because of her race as she attempted to interact with the executive branch administrators.

This woman does not have education. He words were inarticulate and rambling. Quite honestly she was an embarrassment for her constituents.

The various local "White Right Wing" talk show hosts incessantly played the tape as a means of showing her up. OBJECTIVELY upon listening to her tape I was prone to agree with her claims. She did not get a fair hearing because everyone had focused on her inarticulateness.

Though I do not suffer from this same ailment - many of my enemies attempt to give me "English Lessons' just the same as some of them never once address nor refute anything I say. They only tell me of my misspellings, run-on sentences, and verboseness.

It is stunning how some Black people adopt the tactics of their adversaries despite discounting them as being 'racists'.

This is one of the most underreported conflicts in the present day. I have to give credit to 'Al Jezeera English" who covered it while "World Report" on PBS did not mention a thing about it over the past few days.

Shamefully women were raped on the street. Then armed men put a rifle inside of their vagina and asked "Who are you loyal to?". If they did not tell of their loyalty to the present government - the men fired their weapon, killing them.

Think about it. Your goal is to discredit all criticism from your adversary about an entity that you are seeking to protect so that your agenda can get passed through as unmolested as possible.

What benefit is there for you to be a bit more cautious and calculated about your claim that of your adversary's motivations?

The goal is to put your adversary on the defensive. The charge of RACISM works like the question "So when did you stop beating your wife?". It makes a proclamation and demands that the focus of the question PROVE that your supposition is not correct. By the time he finishes disproving the claim his adversary will force him to AGREE with them as proof that he is not a racist, wife beater.

I suggest that no one run from this claim. The best way to dislodge this fraudulent claim is to:

• Point out when Black folks really did suffer from assaults from racists
• Point out how today WE ARE suffering from assaults from people other than White folks and yet these are never labeled as "assaults upon our civil rights"
• Ask the question what influences Black people to continue voting in the monopoly for a party that already controls so many of their key institutions and yet no repudiation of this machine is ever seen.  Thus if RACISM is the reason why certain Whites don't vote for Obama might it be Ideological Bigotry that is at play in the Black community which voted 96% for one party and one man despite their continued grievances with the machine?

The power to define a group of people based on your intention to discredit them because they are a threat to what you believe or to support them as those who are ultimately fighting for what you are fighting for cannot be discounted.

The same media who were attacking protesters from a few weeks ago at the "Tea Parties" were displaying sympathy for the "G-20 Protesters". Despite the broken windows and bonfires - those with sympathy blamed the police for using tear gas.

Somethings you must accept as "that is just the way it is" in regards to people's biases.

If you recall the media spin from certain people who had a vested interest in downplaying the "domestic terrorist threat" at the time as they did not want to have the "right wing" proven correct - they vigoriously argued that while these men expressed VERBAL INTENT at performing the terrorist act they did not have the OPERATIONAL ABILITY to carry it out.

Thus THEY WERE NOT A THREAT. "Sorry this is an overreaction" we were told.

Fast forward to the year 2009.

As I watched "Democracy Now" where host Amy Goodman was teeing up her guest, Professor Cornell West about the state of race relations, she mentioned that "President Obama has received more death threats than any other president in history". We've all heard the claim "The amount of death threats for Obama is up 400% from that which George W Bush has received".

Now mind you - the Secret Service does not release such figures. This stat came from the author of a book who claims to have had inside information. Keep in mind as well that this stat came from the window of time from November 2008 up to a maximum of February 2009. But again - since the Secret Service does not provide the information we don't know where this rate states at the present time.

With the fact that the claims of "chimpanzee cartoons" and signs at t-parties and "The Joker" sign being trumped up as RACIST - there is clearly a low threshold of what will be labeled as RACIST by some people.

THIS BRINGS ME TO THE MAIN POINT OF MY POST.

Why is it that the question of "Operationally Plausible" is not added to this claim of Obama Assassination Attempts? Just this week some snot nosed kid put up a poll about the assassination of Barack Obama on "FaceBook". As with all such claims - the Secret Service had to investigate the dumb kid who did this. I am sure that after his drawers are checked he will have realize the stupid thing that he did.

To be clear I DO NOT WANT ANY HARM TO COME TO PRESIDENT OBAMA. Anyone who even attempts to carry a physical act of violence against the president should be locked up for life.

Why, however, is the QUALIFICATION of these threats thrown out in preference of having the large QUANTITY of them shown to indicate that this nation is as RACIST as ever? (Of course we all know that only staunch conservative, right-wingers are the source of these threats. The terrorists before Obama were "just playing").

The "Voice Of The Black Establishment" might be sold to another party, possibly a 'non-Black' owner.

I would consider this a great irony but in truth I am not surprised.

From where I stand per my own conscious development - Ebony Magazine left the Black Community a long time ago and began working for the external forces that now have control over our consciousness as a people.

My relationship with Ebony Magazine/Jet follows my relations with many other Black media sources. I will detail this.

AS MY CONSCIOUSNESS GREW SO DID MY AWARENESS OF THE BLACK MEDIA OPERATIVES

20 years ago as I was transitioning out of college into the real world I was a "normal" African-American male with my views squarely in line with Black mainstream thought and consciousness. My views on economics, class struggle, education and racism were largely formed by my peers, the organizations that I was affiliated with in school and the media that I took in.

As I moved to Atlanta and began working I was an avid listener to urban radio and the syndicated talk shows that were coming about. My morning drive consisted of "Tom Joyner In The Morning". My peers at the government job that I was working at the time would always ask the question "Did you hear what J. Anthony Brown said this morning?". If for no other reason than being in the loop - I tuned in religiously.

My listening habits also were complimented by my television viewing habits - "BET" (I used to like 'Lead Story' and even the 'Bev Smith Show'). I also had a full compliment of Black magazines - Black Enterprise, Ebony, Ebony Man, Emerge. I have to even come clean - I purchased individual copies of Essence Magazine, a publication targeted towards women, depending on a featured article - and the attractiveness of the woman on the cover. And, If I look hard enough in my mountain of boxes in my basement I likely have no less than 100 "Jet Beauty Of The Week" tear outs bound in a small 3 ring binder that I used to keep. (Yeah - I got the idea from a friend of mine who did the same thing. :lol:).

In summary - I had always been a massive consumer of Black media. I took in both the entertainment oriented messages and by extension - the political messages that were streamed out at the same time. None of it disturbed me because it was all in line with my thinking.

GROWTH AND SEPARATION From Biased Black Media

As my personal views began to firm up as I matured I began to notice how slanted all of the messages from the Black press were. "Democrats/Progressives were the salvation of the Black Community". "Republicans and Conservatives are racists and are our enemies."

The contentious year 2000 election between George W. Bush and Al Gore proved enlightening. to me. During that time I also recall being excited that "Self Help" speaker "Les Brown" started a radio show. I split my loyalties between Brown and Joyner. Though they had two separate shows - the message was the same: "We need to get the Democrats in office at all costs".

I recall going to the "Greenbriar Mall" in Atlanta and seeing the "NAACP Voter Education Fund" bus. It was a chartered bus that magically appeared on the scene. We all later found out that a "mystery donor" with $10 million had prompted the NAACP to form a 501c3 organization which had the exact same leadership as the mainline organization but which was unencumbered from doing straight up politically partisan activities. Thus the mask of the NAACP was removed as they hid behind the required paperwork that the IRS required them to file. It was clear to me that the NAACP was paid off to "GET THE BLACK VOTE INTO THE VOTING BOTH SO THAT BLACK FOLKS CAN DO WHAT WE DO - VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRATS!!!!".

The "Tom Joyner Morning Show" became a "Tar And Feather George Bush And All Republicans Show". I recall hearing Democrat Al Gore making what seemed to be a weekly call in to the show. Gore even began to ask "How is Donna doing?".

What was taking place was a coordinated, multi-front push by ALL CHANNELS OF THE "9P's Of The Black Establishment" to get Democrats in office anywhere and everywhere.

Any pretenses of fairness and objectivity were thrown out of the window during this time.

After this experience I pulled the plug on Joyner, Brown and the local R&B station. My morning drive shifted to the local National Public Radio station and WRFG the local jazz station. At least when I heard political news and analysis I could receive a more balanced presentation of the issues. Black radio "lost me" with their level of 'sold-outed-ness'.


TELEVISION

BET Network (Lead Story, Tavis Smiley, BET Nightly News) , "America's Black Forum", "Our World", "Black Enterprise Journal(?)", "Tony Brown's Journal".

I used to watch all of them. I had my computer television tuner up and running, dutifully recording these shows to a schedule and then watching them according to my own schedule. Archiving the episodes that had great impact.

Aside from "Tony Brown's Journal" - all of these shows towed the "Black Establishment" orthodoxy. Racism and conservative opposition were the main threats to the Black community. Their job was to show how this is the case.

I began to notice that the Black press which was originally created to provide a voice for the Black community when the mainstream press at the time was only good for ignoring us or slandering us had changed. No longer were they representing the "Black Community's interests". They were representing the interests of a given ideology and party. All of their messages were oriented in this manner. Any Black person consuming these messages yet thinking otherwise must be damaged in some critical way.

I didn't have to refuse to watch any of these shows. Nearly all of them faded away on their own. Ironically - I who would be considered a rogue because of my right of center viewpoint as a Black man was a more loyal consumer of these shows and thus could not be blamed for their cancellation. This fault resides in the hands of the loyal choir members who didn't bother to tune in for their weekly fortification sermon.

BLACK PRINT PUBLICATIONS

I was always good for going out of my way to pay money for "The Atlanta Daily World", "The Atlanta Inquirer", "Rolling Out", "Dekalb Crossroads" and "The Final Call". These are all Black themed print publications in newspaper form. I even subscribed to the "New York Amsterdam News" though I live in Atlanta. These publications provide insight upon the popular political thoughts and projections that stream from the prevailing Black political establishment. These journalists some times acted as "opinion writers" instead. The Amsterdam News, for example reads cover to cover with OPINION laced commentary injected in its news stories. Alton Maddox's column attacked everything to the right of Nancy Pelosi.

When I noted that these magazines had articles syndicated through the "National Newspaper Publisher's Association" I began to post rebuttal letters to the muck that I was reading. This is how I was introduced to one of the hardest working "Democrats Who Are Black" who makes it clear what his objective is - Dr Ronald Walters. Dr Walters has the stated goal of keeping the Black vote UNIFIED and voting DEMOCRATIC. The notion of Black people's PERMANENT INTERESTS being addressed via these actions is only a residual consequence. His goal is in fortifying the Democratic Party and Progressive Politics. I even got Dr Walters to admit via personal e-mail that despite the hard work to elect Democrats in our community - we still remain problem plagued. At no point did he suggest a change in strategy.

EBONY AND JOHNSON PUBLISHING

As I have stated previously - I was a long time subscriber to Ebony and Jet. Their subscriptions were so cheap and I would always seem to be plastered with renewal programs that made my continuing patronage a no-brainer.

I consciously canceled my subscription to both of these magazines. For "Jet" it was a matter of this being a publication that had no real worth. Beyond the "Jet Beauty of the Week" the magazine consisted of some positive pronouncement of a "Black Establishment" figure, a review of an Entertainer, a notation of a sports figure and then the music charts and some reference to an upcoming television show.

If you were not a "favorable Black" - you were not going to make it into the pages of Jet. I canceled.

As for Ebony - my subscription was canceled after a July 2007 cover story on "Gun Violence In The Black Community". Functionally the authors of the story painted the picture of "GUNS WITH FEET", running through the Black community - SHOOTING OUR PEOPLE DEAD - and then taking off in the sunset, never to be found.

The writers at Ebony could not bring themselves to acknowledge that behind the gun was a Black man who possessed as much hatred and anger as the various White supremacists who they had called out explicitly over the years. They towed the "If You Value Black Lives The Support Gun Control" message. Thus they transferred our community safety to the matter of the presence of this inanimate tool rather than the level of consciousness possessed by those who hold the guns up to inflict injury".

Think about it - NAME ONE FEATURE ARTICLE IN WHICH EBONY DID A SERIOUS INSPECTION OF THE 'BLACK ESTABLISHMENT'? They are but cheerleaders on behalf of them. I can think of no article in which they express any measure of SEPARATION from this establishment. This would require for them to say "We are with the Black 'rank and file'. You in the establishment have been entrusted with our representative power to work on our behalf. IN AS MUCH AS WE STILL SUFFER, DESPITE YOUR RULE - we as an operation are forced to INSPECT what you do". This never happens folks.

They have perverted the original purpose of the Black Press. Now that the seats that Black people have long struggled to occupy are now occupied by Blacks or other favorable operatives - Ebony and the rest of the Black press have failed to display the necessary separation and thus seek to express the BEST INTERESTS of the people.

I am not asking for a Black publication who will seek to firebomb and injure all Black elected officials. I am ONLY asking that they be clear on what our Permanent Interests are as a people and be honest enough and show enough integrity to admit that the course that the Black Establishment and the Black Rank & File has been on with regard continuing the EXTERNAL fight is a dated practice.

Thus the IRONY of the condition of Ebony magazine is that less than a year after breaching its editorial precedence and expressly endorsing a candidate for the President of the United States - it finds itself near the cliff of bankruptcy.
The increased circulation that it hoped to receive from placing permanent reporters in the White House to cover "all things Obama" has not convinced the large base of Black Obama supporters to pay for editions of Ebony magazines.

SUGGESTION FOR THE FUTURE OF THE BLACK PRESS

I AM NOT THE ENEMY OF THE BLACK PRESS. I had been a loyal supporter.
It seems to me that the very people who these Black press operatives slant their content toward are not doing their part in paying to keep these oracles going. I have nothing against Johnson Publishing and only hope the best for them.

However I strongly suggest that they remove themselves from their attachment to the BLACK ESTABLISHMENT and rechristen themselves as the VOICE OF THE PERMANENT INTERESTS OF THE PEOPLE.

Instead of covering "NAACP Awards Banquets" they need to start asking questions about the high rate of CIVIL RIGHTS VIOLATIONS that occur to day WITHIN THE BLACK COMMUNITY.

My subscription renewal will be placed in the mailbox rather than the shredder when that happens.

ACLU Attempts To Provide Voting Rights (Via Absentee Ballot) To Jail Inmates

Sorry - the logistical challenges associated with this request outweigh any RIGHTS that these people can claim in regards to their voting privileges. The best way to insure that your RIGHT TO VOTE is left intact is to not do anything that places your behind in jail during the polling period.

Two DeKalb County residents on Tuesday filed a federal lawsuit contending they were illegally denied the right to vote last November because they were refused absentee ballots at the county jail.

Hassan Swann and David A. Hartfield were barred from receiving the ballots because of a Georgia law that prohibits absentee ballots from being sent to an address other than a citizen’s permanent address, the suit said.

“Because of an arcane and unconstitutional statute, our clients were wrongfully robbed of participating in this last historic presidential election,” said Nancy Abudu, senior staff attorney with the ACLU Voting Rights project, which represents the two plaintiffs. “In the state of Georgia, individuals incarcerated in jails retain their right to vote.”

Swann was in jail for a DUI charge and Hatfield was being held for a probation violation, Abudu said.

Let the subject of "tax payer provided health care", the death penalty or many other points that the American left wishes to promote come up in a debate. They will justify their position by making an inference as to how others in the "CIVILIZED WORLD" live or think.

In this world of nearly 6,700,0000,000 "equal" human beings I have always been puzzled as to how this group that purports to be conscious can constantly make such a reference that violates the "proportionality" filter that I so frequently speak of. Such a reference is as disturbing to me as the concept of "Third World nation".

How does a person who calls themselves "Black Conscious" (or some other derivative per their screen name) then go on to focus upon developing a standard of living - per government entitlement - that only 40 million African Americans living in the United States of America will have access to as indexed by the living standard of just 1.07 billion people?

What are their plans for the remaining 5.63 billion people in the world?

Ironically their entitlement plans for the 40 million African Americans are highly dependent upon the resources that the CAPITALISTIC system that is present in America. The very system that they hate.

A more "conscious" person would instead seek to develop a system of economics and living that is possibly implemented among the 5.63 billion people that don't have such an advantage.

CNN: Three charged with murder in beating death of Chicago teen

CHICAGO, Illinois (CNN) -- Three teenagers have been charged with first-degree murder in the death of a 16-year-old boy whose beating was captured on amateur video.

Nineteen-year-old Silvanus Shannon, 16-year-old Eric Carson and 18-year-old Eugene Riley were charged as adults with first degree felony murder, said Tandra Simonton, spokesperson for the Cook County States Attorney.

They are charged in the death of Derrion Albert, an honors student who was beaten to death last Thursday. An amateur videotape of the beating has been broadcast nationally.

It's unclear who shot the footage, but a local television station that received the tape turned it over to police.

The tape shows attackers wielding two-by-fours and punching and kicking a single person. At one point, four or five males are seen beating and stomping the same young man after he falls to the ground.


As the attackers run away, the person with the camera and several others approached Albert and carried him into a nearby building. "Derrion, get up!" a female voice pleads.

Three people over age 17 and one juvenile were questioned Sunday, according to local news reports.

Let me say it again - There is little difference between the antics of the Democrats and Republicans EXCEPT that there are not enough Black people in the GOP for the Republicans to call what the Democrats do "RACIST".

"I mean, they're saying things about him [Obama] -- you know, it's like when they accused me of murder and all that stuff they did," Clinton said, in an apparent reference to conspiracy theories surrounding the suicide of White House deputy counsel Vince Foster.

"It's not really good for the Republicans and the country, what's going on now," Clinton said. "I mean, they may be hurting President Obama. They can take his numbers down, they can run his opposition up. But fundamentally, he and his team have a positive agenda for America."

The nation needs "a credible debate about what's the right balance between continuing to expand the economy through stimulus and beginning to move back to fiscal balance," Clinton said. "We need a credible debate about what's the best way to get to universal [health care] coverage."

The Black Rank & File And The Progressive Order - A Protection Racket That Needs Renegotiation

This posting serves as yet another attempt to model the past and present disposition of the Black community in the context of its American experience. The goal is to explain the reasons why certain choices were made and to discover if these choices are still working in our own best interests. My goal is to map the level of grievance that is heard to day among Black people with a dogma that can be applied that will actually work to resolve these problems rather than benefit those forces who "feel our pain" and profit greatly in their attempts to address it. Please see this as a check point in which I seek "earnest money" prior to agreeing to go further along for the ride.


The Needs Of The Black Community

I will argue my points using the framework of the "Permanent Interests" of the Black community.

• Public Safety
• Education
• Economic Participation
• Public Health

The basic point is that these are the key elements that the organized Black community throughout time have sought to have expressed both amongst themselves and via the government. Thus I will focus on the steps that the Black Community took (via its leadership) to secure these vital elements.

My argument is that some of the relationships that were taken for defensive purposes at a given point in time when a particular unchecked adversary was a threat to these interests must be reanalyzed to insure that the current disposition is in line with the present prevailing threats and that our people retain our independent focus upon our permanent interests. Failing to do so, the people will fuse their interests upon an external entity who's ultimate goal is not their own permanent interests. The people can only ever find themselves marginalized in the end. Worse yet if there is not a goal of ultimate organic independence over time - these people could not separate even if they wanted to due to the lack in their ability to maintain their standard of living as expressed in the framework.

I have the opinion that no one who is transparently interested in insuring that we are walking forward to obtain the "Black Permanent Interests" should take offense to the occasional inspection. Just as any financial services firm - they should look forward to transparently producing their activities and present standing to the "rank and file" to insure that everyone is fully aware of where they stand and what is needed from the masses so that we can move forward.

Sadly there are also some operatives who play upon Black people's fears about the future. Per their agenda - their goal is to keep Black people unified and under the confines of the "protection racket" because their ultimate interests resides in keeping the PROTECTOR strong rather than allowing the natural dispersion of Black thought to spread - just as we see in other majority Black nations who have had more years of experience in running their own national affairs.

The true evidence that the Black American has achieved the state of EQUALITY is when the forces WITHIN THE BLACK COMMUNITY allow an otherwise intelligent Black person to look at a set of facts and then stake his position at a given point on the ideological spectrum without the present "attack sheep dogs" biting the wayward sheep upon the back of the neck and pulling him back into the flock. Ironically it is the "attack sheep dog" that executes the majority of attack that this "Wayward Black" is likely to experience.

I will now apply the framework to the various periods of time that the African-American has experienced during his time of freedom.


(Up To And Including The....) Civil Rights Period - The Fight For Basic Rights



Since Reconstruction the African-American had nominal freedom but was living at the time in a system in which "The Negro had no rights which a White man need respect". Thus even when the Black community did field an organically built infrastructure to take care of the needs listed a race riot could leave all of this as one smoldering heap of ashes as the larger White racist community acted without confinement by legal sanction. Ironically Black people would be locked up after the community suffered destruction from torch bearing lynch mobs.

This time period spans from The period of Reconstruction through the Civil Rights era until the Black vote was secured and it could choose its own leaders in a democratic process in which his rights were protected.

(Please note: I acknowledge that the span of 1870 through to 1965 covers a wide span of time and does not acknowledge the impact of the Labor Movement and the changes that resulted from the Black involvement in WWII. The point is that none of these intermediate periods saw a change in the forces in power over the Black community. Thus I don't see the need to specifically break them out.

There were many forces reaching out to take up the cause of the African-American, offering protections. With the government in the hands of unyielding racists in both parties - it was left up to independent organizations such as the church community to provide health care and nutrition to Black communities that were in need. A significant portion of the historically Black educational and hospital institutions available today were founded by various church entities over time.

Thus Blacks were largely unaffiliated with a given American political party because, in effect, there were so few places that they could express their right to vote. This was especially so in the South where Blacks lived in their greatest numbers.

Post-Civil Rights Period - Uniting With Labor And The Democrats To Control Municipal Institutions


The "Protection Racket" was sealed.

I reported the words of civil rights leader Bayard Rustin from 1968. Mr Rustin in the documentary "Brother Undercover" reported the results of a post-MLK Jr assassination meeting in which the players sought to define "Where Do We Go From Here?".

The conclusion was that "The Black Community should work to build up POLITICAL power via the DEMOCRATIC PARTY as the primary means of addressing our SOCIAL JUSTICE demands for our community".

This was the announcement of the "contract signature" for the Protection Racket that has existed between the progressive forces of the Democratic Party and the Black Establishment operatives. At this point the Black Operatives, working as "Democrats who are Black" committed to harvest the Black vote for delivery to the front doors of the Democratic Party.

I will even go so far at to state (as a Black Conservative Independent) that AT THAT TIME, this was a rational strategy only because the Black Establishment leaders had no basis by which to calculate the dangers of such an alignment to our CULTURAL CONSCIOUSNESS. The attainment of the items with the framework was a rational impetus for this relationship.

Let me be clear if I have not been so before: I don't give a damn about this man. He assaulted this woman for no reason while her 7 year old daughter watched as her mother was beaten. The could throw him under the jail for all that I care. I am focusing upon the BLACK ESTABLISHMENT OPERATIVES and how our community is injured by their selective outrage and consistent silence on what is killing us in a greater proportion than what they focus upon.

Roll Back The Clock A Few Years Ago: Black Male Associated In A Murder Of Another Black Person: He was originally arrested for Murder. The charges were lowered to Aggravated Assault. After serving THREE YEARS he was recently RELEASED . There was no protests from the Civil Rights Industrial Complex upon anyone hearing (or caring) that this man was going to be let out so quickly after killing someone.

TODAY: Black Pirate Shoots 4 People; Killing 3 of them, Including A 3 Year Old Little Girl.
Upon being angered at the end of a Dominoes game the Pirate pulls out a gun and shoots 4 Black people. 3 of them die. One of the dead is a 3 year old little girl. There was no protests.

MY CLAIMS / MY CHALLENGE

Question: What about the news media that showed the civil rights industrial complex operatives the saga of the woman that was beaten by the White guy that did not allow them to see that this Murderous Pirate was going to get out of jail so soon after killing a Black person?

Worse yet, people, NOW THAT WE KNOW the transaction of events that lead up to this man killing the 3 year old little girl and these 2 other Black people - DO YOU THINK THAT THIS IS GOING TO TRIGGER ANY PROTESTS:

1. Demanding That the Dekalb County District Attorney Account For This - (With as much passion as we saw against the White racist)?
2. A "No Justice/ No Peace" rally at every single hearing for the Pirate in which they sit upon the District Attorney and Judge until they are assured that this Pirate will never be allowed to walk on the streets again?
3. Demand STRUCTURAL REFORM in Dekalb County Georgia so that No Killer Can Walk Out Of Jail so quickly after killing someone in Dekalb?

I assure you people - THERE WILL BE NO OTHER BLACK MEDIA ANALYST STRINGING THESE PAINFUL FACTS AND SELECTIVE CALLS FOR JUSTICE TOGETHER.

Who among you would like to argue that these two points are NOT connected from the stand point of the "Justice Thurgood Marshall Justice" and "Racism Chasing" that is the dominate "criminal justice" orthodoxy within our community? The CONNECTION is with the SELECTIVE OUTRAGE among the forces of the "Black Establishment" (as documented clearly above).

Sadly - the same forces that prided themselves over their total political victory and control over this space will suffer no damage as a result of this collapse.

If Detroit had been savaged by a hurricane and submerged by a ravenous flood, we'd know a lot more about it. If drought and carelessness had spread brush fires across the city, we'd see it on the evening news every night. Earthquake, tornadoes, you name it — if natural disaster had devastated the city that was once the living proof of American prosperity, the rest of the country might take notice.

But Detroit, once our fourth largest city, now 11th and slipping rapidly, has had no such luck. Its disaster has long been a slow unwinding that seemed to remove it from the rest of the country. Even the death rattle that in the past year emanated from its signature industry brought more attention to the auto executives than to the people of the city, who had for so long been victimized by their dreadful decision-making.

By any quantifiable standard, the city is on life support. Detroit's treasury is $300 million short of the funds needed to provide the barest municipal services. The school system, which six years ago was compelled by the teachers' union to reject a philanthropist's offer of $200 million to build 15 small, independent charter high schools, is in receivership. The murder rate is soaring, and 7 out of 10 remain unsolved. Three years after Katrina devastated New Orleans, unemployment in that city hit a peak of 11%. In Detroit, the unemployment rate is 28.9%. That's worth spelling out: twenty-eight point nine percent.

If, like me, you're a Detroit native who recently went home to find out what went wrong, your first instinct is to weep. If you live there still, that's not the response you're looking for. Old friends and new acquaintances, people who confront the city's agony every day, told me, "I hope this isn't going to be another article about how terrible things are in Detroit."

It is — and it isn't. That's because the story of Detroit is not simply one of a great city's collapse. It's also about the erosion of the industries that helped build the country we know today. The ultimate fate of Detroit will reveal much about the character of America in the 21st century. If what was once the most prosperous manufacturing city in the nation has been brought to its knees, what does that say about our recent past? And if it can't find a way to get up, what does that say about our future?

When you have operatives who SET THEIR OWN STANDARD BY WHICH THE MASSES ARE TO JUDGE THEM (aka: "The Fox Guarding The Hen House") should it be surprising to you that they have very LOW thresholds for having those they like be successful in their jaudiced view? Likewise - why be surprised that THEIR enemies can't win for losing?

"I think hip-hop artists will have no choice but to talk about different things and more positive things, and try to bring a brighter side to that because, even before Barack, I think people had been tired of hearing the same thing," he said in December.

Common admits that Thug Hip Hop HAS NOT CHANGED because of some higher standards of consciousness (he's a "conscious rapper" you know) has been achieved. Instead it is the CONSUMER PUBLIC grew tired of that genre and thus MARKET FORCES (money) has changed, causing the lyacists to change.

On Saturday, Common said he is already seeing signs that Obama is making a mark on a musical genre often vilified because of its focus on drugs, violence and the degradation of women."I also don't find as much gangsta talk," he said. "You see the whole chain-shining-and-rim era is gone. That's like super-played out. Just to have that, I think, is part of the Obama effect."

DOES ANYONE ELSE NOTICE that while in observing the process of refining "iron ore" into "steel" one can document specific steps that have been taken in the transformation?

When it comes to certain elements of THE BLACK CULTURE - it is hard to document the process by which such Societial Change has taken place. Instead there is an overdependency on "Inductive Gravitational Pull" that makes it all better.

Obama and the American spirit, he said, are prodding the movement along. Common said he hopes more rappers abandon vacuous materialistic ideals and the glorification of vices plaguing American communities -- "and if whatever MC doesn't, I will," he warned.

"I think Obama is definitely bringing people to be able to inspire people to create for themselves," he said. "What America was built on was being able to say, 'Hey, we're going to come in and use our resources to build for ourselves and our communities and build around that. We're not going to depend on others.'

"I think that's what hip-hop is starting to do to a certain extent. I think it's a great thing."

NAACP PLANS RALLY FOR GOV. PATERSON: Local Islip branch announces support for politician despite unpopularity across state.

*New York's Gov. David Paterson is getting support from a local NAACP branch amid reports that the White House and top Democrats in the state want a stronger candidate at the top of the 2010 ticket.
A branch of the NAACP in Islip says it and other groups are planning a rally to support Paterson, who grew up partly on Long Island. They want to show respect for the state’s first black and disabled governor and urge Democrats to let him deal with the fiscal crisis, not politics.

The Rev. Al Sharpton weighed in Monday on his Twitter page, urging Democrats to settle the issue so that what he calls “reactionary forces” can’t win back the seats of power held by Democrats.

Does everyone notice that Al Sharpton - a purported "Black Leader" never mentions ANYTHING about doing all of this per the specific positive impact upon the BLACK COMMUNITY with the Democrats in place? "We can't allow the REPUBLICANS to get back into power!!!!" is the key drive for "Democrats Who Are Black" to speak up and settle things within the Democratic Party.

Just imagine if we move to a more soundly Democratic and Black controlled place such as Detroit. Apply Al Sharpton's words. "Democrts need to settle the issue so that WE CAN KEEP THE FORCES THAT HAVE BEEN IN CONTROL OVER ALL OF THE INSTITUTIONS OF POWER FOR THE PAST 40 YEARS IN POWER. Do you want to go back to the old days?"

Of course he can't even make the case that the PRESENT DAY in Detroit and many other places where THE POLITICAL VICTORY HAS BEEN WON are "the better days".

For them their great victory is that Castro's Cuba has "Thrown Out The American Imperialism Out Of Their Country " and "Poked The Bully To The North In The Eye". HAVANA, Cuba (Reuters) -- Cubans began taking a hard look this week at entrenched customs like food rationing, pilfering on the job, cradle-to-grave subsidies and black market trading in a national debate called by President Raul Castro.

Authorities have circulated a ten-point agenda for thousands of open-ended meetings over the next month at work places, universities and community organizations to rethink Cuban socialism, focused on the economic themes highlighted by Castro in a speech to the National Assembly in August.

The discussion guide, a copy of which was obtained by Reuters, makes clear that questioning the communist-ruled island's one-party political system established after Fidel Castro's 1959 revolution, or calling for a restoration of capitalism, are off limits.

But the guide said: "It is important that the meetings are characterized by absolute freedom of criteria, the sincerity of participants and respect for differing opinions".

The possibility of eliminating one of the world's longest-standing food ration systems, heavily subsidized utilities, transportation and meals at work and universities, among other items, would be debated at the meetings.

Alicia, a communist party militant who will lead the debate in her Havana work place next week but who asked that her last name not be used, said the purpose was "to call on everyone to do what they have to do and stop looking up into the sky and screaming that there are problems."

"Of course there are problems, lots of them, what's needed is that everyone begins taking care of their own," she said.

A similar round of meetings was held in 2007, during which Cubans were asked to air their complaints and what they wanted from the government.

At this round of discussions, the guide says participants were being asked to look in the mirror and apply Castro's speech to their own "radius of action," identify problems in the context of his words and come up with a list of proposals to solve them.

"Nobody, no individual nor country, can indefinitely spend more than she or he earns. Two plus two always adds up to four, never five," Castro said in his August speech. "Within the conditions of our imperfect socialism, due to our own shortcomings, two plus two often adds up to three," he added.

Cubans have mixed feelings about the debate. Some say it is a sincere effort to involve them in changing their lives, while others suspect it is a maneuver to get them to buy into austerity measures that have already been decided on.

"The monthly ration lasts about 15 days and now it won't last 10," Jorge, a construction worker, glumly predicted.

Castro, in his August speech, said a foreign currency shortage had forced drastic cuts in imports and budgets and postponement of payments to foreign creditors and suppliers.

He said egalitarianism had no place under socialism, except in the area of opportunity, and more resources should flow to those who produce and less to those who do not. He has often expressed this refrain since taking over the presidency from his elder brother, Fidel Castro, 18 months ago.

The discussion guide includes excerpts of an earlier Castro speech in which he said reversing the country's dependence on food imports was "not a question of yelling 'fatherland or death, down with imperialism, the blockade is hurting us ...'", but working hard and overcoming poor organization.
Cuban leaders routinely call the 47-year-old US economic embargo against the island a "blockade" and frequently blame it for Cuba's economic woes.

Castro called for decentralization of the state-dominated economy, new forms of property ownership and an end to all government gratuities and subsidies except in health care, education and social security, though these also had to had to cut waste and inessential services.

The president also said in his speech to the National Assembly that Cuba recognized a change in tone from US President Barack Obama's administration and was open to trying to solve the standoff with the United States.

"We are ready to talk about everything, I repeat everything, but in terms of here in Cuba and over there in the United States, and not to negotiate our political and social system," he said.

Obama has eased some slight aspects of the longstanding embargo on Cuba, and initiated talks with the Cuban government on immigration and postal services. But he has called on Cuban leaders to respond by becoming more democratic, freeing detained dissidents and improving human rights.

STUDIO CITY, Calif. - Why visit the set of the new Fox comedy "Brothers"? Well, to paraphrase its co-star CCH Pounder - the last person I expected to see in an old-style sitcom - because I could.
I wasn't going because I thought this show might be an Emmy contender next season. Nor was my intent malicious, like seeing if ex-NFL lineman Michael Strahan would trip over his lines, or the wheelchair of his co-star, while trying to make the transition to comedy actor.
Mostly I went because "Brothers," conventional as it appears on the surface, seemed to be an awfully interesting show.
First, it is a new entry in a dying breed: the African-American network comedy. It is the only representative this fall of that subgenre, invented 20 years ago by Fox, when it used "In Living Color" and other shows to lure minority and younger viewers. The black sitcom gave liftoff to the careers of Steve Harvey and Jamie Foxx, among others, but has fallen victim to low ratings and cable competitors (including reruns of older black sitcoms on BET).
Also, "Brothers" is a throwback comedy that's shot like a play. As Chill Mitchell, one of the stars, notes, "it's as close to live theater as you get," with three or four cameras set up to capture the action. This "multi-camera" format is what launched TV's sitcom era nearly 60 years ago when CBS used it for "I Love Lucy."

Oh, and "Brothers" might have the wildest casting of any new show on TV. The mom is played by Pounder, an intense dramatic character actor perhaps best known as Claudette, the female detective who could hold her own in a pen of testosterone on "The Shield." Her husband is played by Carl Weathers, aka Apollo Creed from the "Rocky" films. The brothers are played by Strahan and Mitchell. As a bonus, Lenny Clarke, the most preposterously funny character actor working in TV today, happens to be on the set that day, shooting a guest role as a gullible white guy who will believe anything black people say about themselves.
And after that setup, I feel obliged to mention this: "Brothers" really is not that bad a show.
"There are more black people working in the White House than there are on network television," Don Reo joked. Wait, he's got another: "The only other black comedic character on TV is Cleveland (Fox's "The Cleveland Show," premiering Sunday) - and he's a cartoon who's voiced by a white guy."
Reo, the executive producer in charge of "Brothers," broke into network TV in 1970. Arizona Republic: Tucson schools create race-based system of discipline

It has been a busy summer for our friends running the Tucson Unified School District.

As always, the annual Institute for Transformative Education summer seminar, hosted by TUSD's amply funded Mexican/American raza-studies program, was fun. So much racial bitterness to obsess over.

Tim Wise, the ultra-angry Tulane University poli-sci grad who has made a great living finding racism under every doormat, was the featured speaker. Everyone was wowed.

In a year in which hundreds of district teachers received pink slips, meanwhile, TUSD spent thousands on recruiting teachers from out of state.

And it hired a coordinator at $80,000 per annum to lead the effort.

The recruiting was prompted by what is fast becoming the consuming passion of the TUSD governing board and its allies - to establish a corps of teachers that precisely mirrors the racial make-up of its heavily minority student population.

You can argue the efficacy of such issues legitimately, certainly.

On a certain emotional level, it is a good thing for a minority student with few incentives to achieve much academically to see others who have.

But, as always, TUSD's race-obsessing board of governors is taking racial bean-counting to preposterous extremes.

This summer, the TUSD board adopted a "Post-Unitary Status Plan" that it expects will help the district escape a decades-old federal desegregation order.

The plan includes increasing the number of minority teachers - per the summer hiring spree, which netted 14 special-education teachers and one math-science teacher.

It also includes a vast expansion of the district's controversial Mexican-American studies program.

Despite the budget-enforced closing of school libraries, the shuttering of arts and music programs and the layoff of teachers and counselors in other disciplines, the Post-Unitary Status Plan calls for a vigorous expansion of the program run by TUSD's happy band of unrepentant political leftists.

The board's plan also calls for changes intended (however counterproductive those plans may be) to improving the lot of minority students.

It wants to see more minority students enrolled in advanced-placement programs, for example - a laudable goal, certainly. But consider one significant part of the plan for "improving" the academic status of TUSD's Black and Hispanic students:

The board is calling for a two-tiered form of student discipline. One for Black and Hispanic students; one for everyone else.

With the goal of creating a "restorative school culture and climate" that conveys a "sense of belonging to all students," the board is insisting that its schools reduce its suspensions and/or expulsions of minority students to the point that the data reflect "no ethnic/racial disparities."

From the section of the 52-page plan titled "Restorative School Culture and Climate," subhead, "Discipline":

"School data that show disparities in suspension/expulsion rates will be examined in detail for root causes. Special attention will be dedicated to data regarding African-American and Hispanic students."

The board approved creating an "Equity Team" that will oversee the plan to ensure "a commitment to social justice for all students."

The happy-face edu-speak notwithstanding, what the Tucson Unified School District board of governors has approved this summer is a race-based system of discipline.

Offenses by students will be judged, and penalties meted out, depending on the student's hue.

Certainly, from the point of view of a public-school administrator, such a policy is beyond insane.

TUSD principals and disciplinarians (assuming such creatures still exist) are being asked to set two standards of behavior for their students.

Some behavior will be met with strict penalties; some will not. It all depends on the color of the student's skin.

It is an invitation to chaos.

The students of the Tucson Public School District certainly deserve more.

They deserve a chance to excel academically.

Instead, they get this. Genuine apartheid.

WASHINGTON (CNN) – A new poll suggests that that just three in 10 Massachusetts voters think Gov. Deval Patrick deserves to be re-elected next year, but dissatisfaction with Patrick as governor does not translate into support for a Republican replacement in next year's general election.

Twenty-nine percent of people questioned in a WHDH-TV/Suffolk University survey released Wednesday said Patrick should be re-elected to a second term in 2010, while 56 percent said it's time to elect someone else as Massachusetts governor. Fifteen percent are undecided.

The poll's release came one day before Patrick announced that Paul Kirk would serve as a temporary replacement for the late Sen. Ted Kennedy.

The survey indicated that Democrats are split over whether Patrick deserves to be re-elected. Three out of four Republicans and six out of 10 Independents say it's time to elect someone else.

According to the poll, 42 percent approved of how Patrick's handling his duties as governor, and 49 percent said they disapprove of how he's doing his job.

But a majority of those questioned, 54 percent, said Massachusetts would not be better off with a Republican as governor, while 35 percent disagreed. And the survey indicated that Patrick leads possible challengers in hypothetical election match ups.

The WHDH-TV/Suffolk University poll was conducted September 12-15, with 500 registered voters questioned by telephone. The survey's sampling error is plus or minus 4.4 percentage points.

Poll: New Yorkers say White House should 'butt out'

WASHINGTON (CNN) — New York voters want President Barack Obama to stay out of their state's politics, according to a new poll.

More than six out of 10 New Yorkers questioned in a Marist College survey released Thursday said it's wrong for the White House to suggest that Gov. David Paterson not run next year for election to a full term. Just over a quarter said that the Obama administration is well within its rights to get involved.

The poll suggested that even a majority of Democrats, 51 percent, believes that the White House is meddling in their state's affairs. More than three quarters of Republicans questioned and nearly two thirds of Independents agreed.

The survey of New York voters was conducted Tuesday, a day after the White House refused to confirm or deny a report that President Barack Obama urged Paterson not to seek a full term in 2010.


Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One Monday, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs — asked about a New York Times report from Sunday which said that Obama "sent a request" to Paterson urging him to step aside from the governor's race — said Paterson is in a "tough situation" and said ultimately the decision on whether or not he is going to make a bid to keep his job next year is one "that he's going to make."

Informed sources earlier this week told CNN that White House Political Director Patrick Gaspard met early last week with the Democratic governor to let him know about the administration's concerns he could not win the governor's race next year — a problem that could affect races down-ticket, not the least of which the Senate seat now held by Kirsten Gillibrand. The White House decision to approach Paterson, said one source, "was driven by the poll numbers. There doesn't seem to be any way he can recover."

While All Of The Civil Rights Protesters Are @ Cracker Barrel - Pirates Attack Without Fear Of Community Protests

My observations about how certain forces in our community operate get validated too frequently for me to be comfortable with.

Yet again I made one mistake that I said I would not do. In doing so it upset my spirit for several hours I have no one else to blame but myself. Yesterday on a way to a customer visit I made the mistake of LISTENING TO ATLANTA BLACK TALK RADIO STATION - WAOK AM.

Days after the attack by the White Man upon the Black Mother in front of Cracker Barrel they were STILL TALKING ABOUT IT this morning. More than a week later.

• I heard a Black man say "THEY don't want us at 'Cracker Barrel'. The name alone should tell you this. If there was a bar named 'Confederate Bar and Grill' or a store named 'KKK Emporium' then you do so at your own risk. WHAT HE DID NOT MENTION is that MORE BLACK PEOPLE have been killed, assaulted and robbed at restaurants named "Church's Friend Chicken", "McDonalds", and "Krystals" without such protests being triggered .
• I heard a Black woman say "THEY think that THEY can just DISRESPECT US AND GET AWAY WITH IT. WE have been lulled into a bit of passivity and instead we need to TAKE TO THE STREETS AND FIGHT when THEY do these type of things to disrespect a Black woman like this. THEY are testing us to see how far they can go. They learn this from Glen Beck and Lou Dobbs who rile them us with racism and lies". (This made me start cursing at the radio folks.) I have been watching BLACK PEOPLE "DISRESPECTED ALL SUMMER LONG!!! I saw 2 Black women shot in the head in nearby College Park. The rally that was assembled afterward was focused upon the memory of the 2 Black women who were asked to strip naked before they were shot in the head by 3 Black pirates. They had a general message of 'We must stop this killing'. THEY DRUMBEAT demanding JUSTICE and that 'BLACK PEOPLE WILL NOT BE DISRESPECTED LIKE THIS' was not heard at all!!!!!!! Where was this lady caller when these 2 sisters were shot dead?

If "Right Wing Talk Radio" is a center of HATRED then it has nothing on WAOK AM in Atlanta. It is a source of hatred and ignorance just the same. The key point that people miss is that "Those who's HATED is focused upon those who HATE them are still expressing HATRED, regardless who who started HATING first. Their selective indictments where they claim to have a certain standard of justice that their people are covered by yet ONLY play the drumbeat for JUSTICE when the PEOPLE THEY HATE violate them only proves that THEY ARE UNJUST. In truth they are ONLY acting out AGAINST those who they HATE. The fact that it is not about defending those of their own who they claim to care for is evidence by their relative silence when these same people are attacked by ANOTHER PERSON who they try to DEFEND because they don't HATE them".

Thus my anger subsided. I realized that there is nothing that I can do about people's choice to be SELECTIVE HATERS. The ONLY thing I care to do is to document the DISRESPECT that is happening to their people and show their silence. The Black Community suffers the most in this gap. Pirates are quite pleased that they are not HATED as much as White Racists when they both execute the same injuries upon Black People.

Thus it will take the BROADER BLACK COMMUNITY to fight against the Black Ideologically Bigoted Haters. As well - upon the BROADER BLACK COMMUNITY giving the CONSCIOUS WHITE PEOPLE permission to attack the Black Pirates who are attacking our community - these external Whites will take this queue and note the "unprotected Blacks" that they can go after. Thus the "Black Pirates" will join "Black Conservatives" as 'free range Blacks' who they will not suffer from a Black Backlash if they attack.

WHILE THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACTIVISTS WERE AT CRACKER BARREL:

Pirate Who Was Playing Dominoes With "Friends" Shoots 3 Black People DEAD - Including A 3 YEAR OLD LITTLE BLACK GIRL!!!!! All Of The Social Justice Rights Activists are at the Cracker Barrel and won't bother protesting against this Pirate Attack. The Pirate was recently let out of jail. At this point I would even be contented if they gathered to protest with the charge "He was made into a 'Killer Pirate' BECAUSE of the Prison Industrial Complex'. Since he was arrested while George W Bush was president - chalk this up as yet another Black person who Bush killed". Unfortunately we won't even hear this one because THERE WILL BE NO PROTESTS!!!

We now find that this same Pirate shooter had also executed an armed robbery at a local gas station.

Black Man Shot In His Car On Interstate 20 and Joseph E Lowery Blvd. It is a good thing that the name "Joseph E Lowery Blvd" does not have a negative association to it like the name "Cracker Barrel" does. This, despite the fact that far more Black people have been assaulted on "Lowery Bvld" in the past 3 years than have been at all Cracker Barrels around the entire nation during this same time.

"I Am Troy Davis" - A Scenario For The NAACP - Left Wing Injustice & Cherry Picking

As we exit "The Bloody Summer" in Atlanta where nearly every day a Black person is murdered - the NAACP's key focus is upon

• Getting Black People To Send Pictures Of Police Attacks On Blacks Into Them Via Their Cellphone Camera
• Getting a Web Hosting Agreement to post a petition to release a man who was convicted of shooting TWO PEOPLE on the same day - yet the NAACP only focuses on the killing of the cop. (What about Michael Cooper - the Black man that Troy Davis was CONVICTED of shooting in the jaw?

Imagine the scenario

A black man is a place with a history of racial tension. His name if Tony Davis. We can go to the deep south. We could go to Metro New York City or Boston. We could go to Indiana. The place is not relevant.

Some sort of confrontation goes down and the Black man is gunned down. He is found dead when the police come around and find him dead on the ground, suffering from 3 gun shot wounds. One to the head.

In the investigation the police have the shooting pinned down to one of two WHITE MEN that were at the scene of the crime.

It seems that Tony Davis got into some type of scuffle with both of these two men. Billy Bob Martin and Bobby Joe Jones seemingly where in a verbal spat with Tony Davis just prior to the shooting.

The police arrested Billy Bob Martin and charged him with the murder of Tony Davis. Mr Davis was shot in the back twice and then in the head. Crime Scene investigation believe that Davis was fighting Bobby Joe Jones facing foward. Then Billy Bob Martin came from behind and shot him in the back twice. When Davis went to the groud, CSI says that Billy Bob Martin stood over Tony Davis and then fired off one more shot into the head of Tony Davis.

The police found a few reluctant White eye witnesses to coorerate the way the fight and then homicide went down.

When the ballistics for the slugs taken out of Tony Davis' body were matched against those taken out of the jaw of a Black man who was shot by someone earlier in the day - Billy Bob Martin was also charged with that shooting. He was seen at the pool hall where the shooting took place.

The Civil Rights Establishment pore into town and demand JUSTICE for the killer of Tony Davis - shot dead like a dog. They are heard chanting 'NO JUSTICE!! NO PEACE!!' every day outside of the court room. "They can't go around killing Black people, shooting us down like dogs. This is not 1919 any longer. Black people have rights" - said the leader of the protest march.

At the trial Billy Bob Martin was charged and given the death penalty for the shooting of Tony Davis and the earlier shooting of the Black man in a second trial.

The Appeals On Behalf Of Billy Bob

The "Friends Of Billy Bob Martin Society" - a group that has formed to overturn the conviction of Billy Bob Martin has successfully appealed his conviction. They say that there was no physical evidence that BBM had murdered Tony Davis. They also got the third party eye witness testimony THROWN OUT. The society found that ALL OF THE WITNESSES were members of "The Color Of Change" and thus they just wanted to see a White man locked up for a hate crime.

QUESTION TO EVERYONE READING THIS:

As engineered as the situation above is on my part - DO YOU BELIEVE that the NAACP would sit back idly as the convicted murdered of a Black man was given a new trial ?

Do you think that they would be contented that the OTHER GUY who is said to have actually done the shooting is STILL WALKING THE STREETS?

This is the most incredible and fraudulent aspect of Ben Jealous and the rest of the activist community's position. They are sold on the notion that it was "Red" Coles who actually did the shooting of a police officer/father/husband/low-wage worker working a second job - yet their own interest is upon freeing Troy Davis. What has any of these groups done to GET A KILLER OFF OF THE STREETS OF SAVANNAH?

This is why these activist groups cannot be allowed to CHERRY PICK justice. They are experts at it.
