If some of you all desire to understand my thought processes and why I stand as I do - read the article above.
Julian Bond is yet another example of why the Black Community in America is stuck as we are.
Just as with yesterday's "Washington Watch" (TV One) in which Black establishment figures were allowed to talk about the conditions WITHIN the local Black community as if they were innocent by-standers rather than fully entrenched operatives who's hand prints are within the cement that is curing right before our eyes - Julian Bond has a similar disconnectedness to his commentary.
These people are 100% POLITICAL operatives.
One can point out a greater amount of CULTURAL damage that they have done to the Black community and our quest for "Community Cultural Competency and Confidence" than one can point out their good. Their greatest testament is that they have "Stopped White Folks From Assaulting Black People With Impunity".
What they can't own up to, however, is that per their focus and forte'.......now Black people WITHIN our own communities are the most numerous assailants who do us harm.
THE LACK OF CULTURAL OWNERSHIP
Listen to people who are vested in a community as they discuss the differences in consciousness between a "home owner" and a "renter". Indeed the person who is a property owner has no one else to turn to or blame when the roof leaks or the leaves need raking. As such - if someone slips on his property due to wet leaves that were piled up in a condition of benign neglect - the court summons will be addressed to the property owner. Thus this liability drives the maintenance and management practices of the owner. Likewise a renter has fewer responsibilities. The phone number to the landlord is posted on the renter's refrigerator to be called to handle all of the major property management tasks.
An establishment force who is consciously abstracted from the ownership responsibilities of the community (or voting district) over which is controls is an eminent danger to people living within. In as much as they have yielded their individual authority to this entity to act as their representatives - an implicit assumption that their own "permanent interests" will be represented - then the failure of those in the community to become conscious of their representatives antics and rebuke or recall him eventually translates into a state of culpability that should be placed upon the entire community who failed to respond.
Julian Bond and a significant number of the "Black Establishment operatives" are Permanent Revolutionaries. They stand in opposition to certain bedrock traditions yet they lament that the domain upon which their influence is concentrated upon is being suppressed by some 'invisible hands' against which they constantly struggle. EVEN WHEN this threatening force picks up and moves outside of the district in their physical form - THEY will continue to be the primary focus of those who are charged with managing the resources within he district. A teen aged youth who's knew no other leadership but that which is before him right now will be brought under the shroud of victimhood that resulted from the forces that have departed. He will be inculcated to take up the lit torch and fight the fight of his fathers, even if he had only heard about the assault from those departed forces through the tales and traditions that have been handed down. These assaults are burned into his mind even if there is no physical scar on his body that triggered the transmission of pain through his nervous system into his brain. Instead the stimulation via his sense of hearing words from his consciousness molders is what has implanted this pain into his soul.
The only reason why a modern day Black leader can come on a nationally televised talk show and discuss the failing schools within the Black community as IF he were an innocent bystander is BECAUSE the Black Residents who are suffering from these same schools as constituents of these same 'civic services' are lining up behind this operative who purports to speak for them to the external power who is the landlord of the school.
If they had a greater perspective in their consciousness - they would purge this spokesman - who is akin to a "Tenants Rights Activist" for renters and instead build a "Home Owners Association" over the schools and the other resources in their community........that THEY NOW CONTROL.
We are not dealing with a POLITICAL PROBLEM here folks.
We are dealing with an INDOCTRINATION and a CONSCIOUSNESS problem.
People like Julian Bond and others who are a part of the "Black Establishment" are now guilty of using the grievance and the "rebelliousness" of the masses who stand against an "oppressive system". Even when they take control over the key elements of their domain per their control over the "civic institutions" these "Perpetual Revolutionaries" will simply EXPAND their focus and take to protesting against some other perceived injustice.
BUT WHAT ABOUT THE LAND THAT YOU HAVE ALREADY CONQUERED?
I realize that some of you claim that I incessantly repeat the same ideas - over and over and over again.
The reason why I do this is because some basic themes are so clear. They are all connected. When a new instance of the "same ole same" pops up - it bears repeating because, despite the repetition I am convinced that some people fail to accurately analyze what is before them.
Progressivism Is Not ORGANIC!
It Needs Something to PROGRESS AGAINST.
When the forces of "Progressivism" take control over a landmass - it must, by definition begin to:
- Define Its Own Order Of Things (A Culture)
- Distribute This Order Via Its Enlightened Agents
- Enforce This Order Upon The Masses (Sustainment)
- Perpetuate This Order On To The Next Generation (Endurance)
During this period of time in the development of Black people we are in a NEW INTERVAL yet the power base of the people who drew their power from the old interval remains intact. Thus those people are making use of the same ole tired tactics that worked in the old interval when they struggled for their basic rights. They try to keep the struggle alive in this present interval where they are functionally ALL ALONE BY THEMSELVES in a domain where they can craft their own culture as they see fit.
The key scrutiny of "Progressive Struggle" that must be rendered now is for it to PROVE that the changes that they propose in the name of libertine freedom has worth beyond anything other than FREEDOM. This notion of freedom streams from their view that the present system is OPPRESSIVE and RESTRICTIVE.
Point well taken.
Now let us "put them on trial".
With all of the cobwebs that bind them from the old system against which they struggled removed - at what point do we measure the capabilities and character of the new system that they now must build in the vacuum?
- Does it produce Justice? Or Relative Justice - just like the system they toppled
- Does it produce Prosperity? Or has the center of gravity simply moved from the individual to the state and yet the aggregate product has diminished yet only the IMBALANCE between the individuals narrowed
- Is It Organically Sustainable? If given the choice would these people with theoretical freedoms choose to stay within the confines of this system or would they depart? Is the absence of organized protest against this system a function of the oppression which disallows such protests?
Let's stop kidding each other. I just talked about the framework of SOCIALISM and COMMUNISM.
Time after time it becomes clear: Julian Bond and other Black Establishment figures are merely LEFTISTS seeking to apply LEFTIST solutions upon problems within Black America. The uniqueness comes not from any particular special class of problems unique to Black people. The primary attribute is the power relationship struggle. One group without economic, political, cultural power against another who is perceived to have it.
In as much as the Judeo-Christian notion of marriage has survived for thousands of years and upon which great societies have been constructed which have afforded the human being to build upon this settled construct and develop other elements of his person - the challenge is upon Mr Bond and other members of the "Permanent Opposition" to PROVE that their radical ideas are worthy beyond their tentative notions of FREEDOMS.
"Freedoms" that they know know nothing about once THEY become the prevailing and uncontested power in a given land mass so that their will is propagated over the masses
