Let me be 100% clear before I go forward: THE VAST MAJORITY OF THE RESIDENTS IN THESE COMMUNITIES ARE GOOD, LAW ABIDING CITIZENS.
They are not committing these crimes. They are being TERRORIZED by the Pirates who are committing these crimes. My only criticism with the general public was that they waited till the Black Establishment gave the message that it was "OK" to focus on these pirates who were terrorizing them in a more coordinated way. I have been keeping track of this outrage in these communities for an extended period of time. I suffered from attacks where I was said to be "always focusing on the negative elements in the Black community".
I am instead FOCUSING ON THE VICTIMS who's interests have been walked upon because the Black Establishment has been focused upon external enemies, mostly for political positioning purposes. While they departed their battle stations WITHIN THE BLACK COMMUNITY to go fight these external fights - the Termite Pirates began to eat away at the important infrastructure in our community.
I am not going to be silent until the threat from the Pirate is made equal to the threat from the more popular threatening figures that are typically ran with. The consequence of this selective out rage is more dead people within these communities.
This site and the site on Clark Atlanta University's campus where the Spelman student was killed were the two prime reasons motivating me to take the drive down MLK Jr Drive.
I know that I saw the building countless number of times yet I could not place where it was.
By the time I got an opportunity to drive by the place was reopened and all of the stuffed animals and all but one floral bouquet were removed. If there was any doubt held by the family that the community did this to their 80 year old mother - the outpouring of sympathy and appreciation by the people who loved her has more than dispelled these notions.
