Mesac Damas - you're screwed. You know that Katie Couric is not going to come to your rescue for being a parent that killed your own children.
Me personally I believe that you are innocent but that the demon spirit that is inside of you is guilty. Sadly that spirit is going to get locked up and put to death and you, an "innocent man" is going to die along with the demon spirit.
Your best chances for actually avoiding being executed are as follows.
Start a letter writing campaign to the following organizations in which you include the court transcript and the White county in Florida's rate of convicting Black people and their low amount of diversity on the juries. They all care more about the PROCESS OF JUSTICE than they do about you having actually killed someone or not. This is just like the "Pharisees" from back in the day - The PROCESS of Justice over The SUBSTANCE of Justice.
Your best chances for actually avoiding being executed are as follows.
- Carefully Research The Line-up Of Public Defendants And Only Choose A Team Of Middle-Aged White Men To Represent You
- Get Your Defense Team To Demand A Change Of Venue TO A Majority White County
- During Jury Selection Instruct Your Defense Team To Expunge As Many Minority Candidates As Possible
- At The End Of The Jury Selection Process Make Sure That YOU Are Heard Letting Out The Following Phase "Why did you all purge all of the minorities from my jury? Are you my defense team or a part of the lynch mob? YOU GUYS ARE RACISTS!!!! You want to see an innocent Black man like me DEAD just as White Men have wanted for centuries"
- During the trial - at the end of each day make sure you are heard saying "You guys are not COMPETENTLY representing me. Is it because I AM BLACK". When you do this make sure that the court recorder is punching all of this into her machine.
- You are going to get convicted and given the death penalty. In Florida as with Georgia - conservative counties are known to dispense the death penalty for EVERYONE at a higher rate than is the case in more progressive cities in the same state
- Launch your appeals process as soon as you hit the prison system.

(CNN) -- A Florida man admitted to reporters that he killed his wife and five "innocent" children, adding that he wants to be executed "right away" so he can be buried with them on Saturday.
Mesac Damas spoke with reporters in Haiti, saying a "spirit" drove him to kill his wife and children.
Mesac Damas, 32, said he wanted to take his own life, but did not have the courage to go through with it, "because if you kill yourself, you're not going to heaven."
Damas made the statements to a Naples Daily News reporter as he was being led into a Haitian police vehicle in Port-au-Prince. Damas was returned to the United States late Tuesday following his capture in Haiti.
Damas faces six counts of premeditated first-degree murder in the deaths of his wife, Guerline Damas, 32; and the couple's five children -- Michzach, 9; Marven, 6; Maven, 5; Megan, 3; and Morgan, 11 months, police have said. The six bodies were found Saturday in the family's North Naples, Florida, home after relatives called police saying they had not been heard from.
Asked by the reporter in Haiti why he killed his family, Damas responded, "Only God knows." Questioned further, he blamed the crime on his mother-in-law. "Her mom pretty much made me do it -- the devil, her spirit, whatever she worships," he said
