Same-Sex Marriage: Exploring the Racial Divide

Some Black operatives love to drive home the point that "White Racism is pronounced on the Conservative side of the White race".

In my analysis we actually see more alignment between the Black prevailing political order and the White progressive order. Thus - as long as Blacks are voting in line with the interests of these liberal Whites - the bigotry that is indeed there is capped.

We saw after the failure of "Proposition 8" in California where the vast majority of Black voters voted to retain the traditional definition of marraige that Black people were verbally assaulted by their White liberal allies. In fact we were called "stupid" by a few of those who were enraged.

I do not believe that "ideology" is a container for hateful thoughts. In fact - I see more unrestrained hatred on display among left wing sources. This hated is done under the guise of "working for societal best interests". Thus hateful signs and words seen at an "Anti-War March" sould be considered based on the "ends" and not the "means".

It is politically favorable for the Black Establishment to have Black people focused against the forces who THEY oppose. Thus the White Conservative (and Black Conservative) receive the bulk of their attacks.

I bet if we were to ask the major civil rights organizations to go on record in regard to their own position on the defense of Traditional Marriage - in the context of these two clear statements by the Black populace - they would be in support of altering the definition. Just as Julian Bond is further to the left of the African-American populace - so are most of these organizations.

They drive for the maximization of RIGHTS.
Our communities have suffered greatly as those who lead us cleave toward their "Ideological Supremacy" in their ability to say "We have never DISCRIMINATED against anyone. We support maxized rights".

They must not be allowed to cherry pick. They must be judged on their entire slate and what it has delivered to our community. All the while that they have taken an affirmative stance on allowing 2 people of the same gender to marry - they have failed to manage the CULTURE in which a Black man and a Black women combine in stable relatinoships and commit to each other in a life-long relationship.

Our community suffers from their ability to lead an external fight without being held accountable abou the affairs WITHIN THE BLACK COMMUNITY.
