Community Actor-vists Stage Protest Day For Bank Refinancing & Heath Care Public Option

Civil Rights Actor-vists Pray to get the banks to stop foreclosing on homes.
The banks have no one else but themselves to blame for all of this. They tried to "commodify" problem areas which they previously avoided because of the risk that was involved. Ironically after years of protests about "redlining" in which banks refused to come into these communities, today the actor-vists are protesting in the wake of the entry of these banks and the problems that it caused to those with sparse financial means.



Atlantas Building Leadership For Empowerment

There are some names that should be called out as "false advertising". This group might be a lot of things but it is NOT for EMPOWERMENT. There is nothing that is "empowering" in its methods. They want to EMPOWER the GOVERNMENT. If they can make people become "in receipt of benefit" then they see this as "empowered". It is not.

The only thing you hear them talking about is the redistribution of government resources. The sight of them protesting against $14 billion in health care insurance industry profits is laughable as their "new insurance company" - the Federal government lost $1,900 billion in this fiscal year which will close out in October.
