He survived a life threatening childhood disease of Meningitis and was born prematurely years ago, growing up to be a family man.

The mistake he made was to believe that the street that he was walking down as he left his girl friend's house early one Sunday morning WAS SAFE.

Instead a pirate shot him in the back of the head, showing the true value of this man's life to the Pirate.
