Baby Left In Storm Drain Dies

AJC: DeKalb medical examiner is conducting autopsy on baby found in storm drain

This one broke my heart.

This is the original video but the baby has since died in the hospital.

The mother and suspected father figured that their only option was to "dispose of" the unwanted baby. It is Georgia law that a mother can take a baby to any hospital for adoption - no question asked.

I was pulling for this baby to make it.
There were so many women who could not have children of their own that said that they would be willing take this child away from the parents who did not want it.

This is a sad end to the story.

Worse - the father and mother are now in jail for what they did.
The father could have easily taken it to the authorities instead of discarding the child - allowing what ever animal that came along to do what it willed to do to this human child.

There is something seriously wrong with our society.
