The Atlanta Mayoral Race "Black Agenda" Memo

WSB TV Video Of The Clark Atlatna University Professors' Press Conference

I will not pile on and offer a blanket condemnation of the memo as it expressed a strategy in racialist terms.

I do acknowledge that it noted the continuing problems that exist in Atlanta DESPITE the present so called "Black Political Establishment" that has ran the city for several decades.

My point of contention is that THEY KNOW, as I KNOW - that they have no plans to do any sort of course correction despite these facts.

These operatives are more interested in city contracts and the prestige of having a "Black mayor" more than they are concerned about how many communities have not been made productive, well educated and safe per the regime that has been in power. In truth they have only been "managed" - provided with enough "hope and resources" to insure that they remain in suspended animation and that they will continue to vote to keep the machine in power.

Pound for pound there are more campaign signs night now in the dirt poor communities of Pittsburg and Vine City than in any other area of the city. These operatives know that despite having great income inequality - these poor and disconnected people have an EQUAL VOTE.
