Analysis: "Yes We Can" Hits Reality And Those Who Were Smitten Are Grasping For Reasons Why

Question #1: Why all of the backlash against President Obama at present upon the right?

Question #2: Why all of the claims that RACISM is the driving force for these protests by Liberals and Democrats struggling to find a reason?

Question #3: What exactly was the driver behind the euphoria over Obama both during and after the election?


These are the major questions that have been on the table over the past year in this nation.

In this nation RACE and IDEOLOGY AND PARTY LOYALTY remain as strong forces in the body politic. All three of these forces are used as weapons carried by the operatives for their own selfish, maximized advantage.


OBAMA and "YES WE CAN"

From October 2008 through to February 2009 this nation has observed the virtual coronation of Barack H. Obama as the 44th President of the United States. He is a liberal politician with a distinctive view on economics and the balance of power between business and government. He is a Democrat which was the crowning piece of the resent run in power by the Democratic Party as their Republican adversary used a series of self-inflicted wounds and an aggressive media and protesters to derail their run at power.

Barack H. Obama was the first African-American President to reside in the Oval Office of this nation.

Ideology - Party - Race

Let me speak of my personal position before we move forward. I am a Black male. I am not a supporter of President Obama or the Federal Democrats. Their biggest discrediting attribute with me is that their policies and viewpoints already dominate the places where my people live in our highest concentrations. I am not willing to take the logical leap of faith and believe that upon fortifying their control over the Federal Government and forge a framework of national, regional (ie: Northeast and West coast), state and local control that they will synergize a fate that is radically better than what they have forged in the local places that they control. In fact they need to control the national level in order to install the redistributive policies to counter the freedom of movement away from the local political districts that they have taken control over. All of this is so plain to see.

What they claim as "Social Justice" and "Rights" is, in truth, their inability to develop strong people at the periphery, allowing them to live as a community with the social and economic values of their own choosing. The more they "nationalize" as entitlements, the more they are able to abstract an individual from his need to align his personal thoughts, beliefs and actions with their intended outcomes. Instead, their vision has it where the GOVERNMENT will increasingly provide the foundation resulting, in theory, that everyone will have a reduced domain within they will be allowed to FALL.

This is their theory going into the struggle. They are unwilling to consider their results coming out of their "land victories". Progressivism is not "ORGANIC". It needs to be constantly upon a growth trajectory. Force it to remain inside of a specific border and force it to stand accountable for the conditions within the plateau that it presently resides and it will collapse upon itself. Its INTENTIONS TO HELP trumps its TRACK RECORD OF HELPING.


RACE, PROGRESSIVISM, AMERICA

"How can a Black man like you be so critical of the movement that has freed you from the terrorism of those very racists seeking to attack Obama?"

This is an oft asked question.

I am expected to read history and cast my permanent loyalties to the Democratic Party and Progressivism. They are the ones who have unlocked my ancestor's chains and set up a shield of protection from the night riders. It was their IDEOLOGY that did this more than the key institutions in America. I am willing to accept these broad set of claims as long as these same people are willing to accept today's truth.

Today's truth is that the African American of 2009 is NOT under assault by people who "think like Joe Wilson of South Carolina". There is a network of US Attorneys in the US Justice Department Civil Rights Division to insure that, assuming that Joe Wilson hates Black people for a second - if Joe Wilson strikes out and violently attacks Black people or systematically discriminates against us - he will suffer the consequences of his actions.

This week in metro Atlanta where I live a racist White man attacked a Black woman as she and her 7 year old daughter walked into a "Cracker Barrel" restaurant. Unlike daily attacks that I have reported on this blog as part of my "Bloody Summer" coverage - THIS TIME - the "FBI" and the "US Civil Rights Division" was called in to investigate this attack. Not because a Black woman was attacked. This is common. But because a White man had attacked a Black woman. The attacker defined the seriousness of the offense and the channels through which it would be covered.

Yesterday's PROGRESSIVISM that set up these protections against racist attacks is unable to effectively defend Black America when we are being assaulted by our own. Despite this being the most common modality of our attack - our Black Establishment is more oriented (and more interested) in fighting the battle against White Supremacy. Bottom line - there is little political and ideological advantage to promote the threat from Black Piracy upon the health and safety of Black people. In fact, to do so would be a mild admission of failure of their own policies. More than ever the Black Establishment is a self-governing force, free from regulation of their actions or priority. In the view of most Blacks - any crumb that they gather for us is a crumb that our people did not have previously. We should be eternally grateful for this crumb we are told, as we are reminded of how we used to not have any crumbs at all in the past.

I just plotted out the underpinnings as to why the Democratic Party and Progressives hold sway over the Black community, able to keep our people focused and unified over the THREAT OF RACISM - while seemingly nullified as to their failures in regards to the key institutions that they control over our communities today: Law & Order, Education, Economics and Health.

This was a necessary journey through the mind of Black America in order to arrive at an understanding of what we are seeing at the top level today in our nation.

SHOW ME THE MONEY

Those who are in power over our community's interests place the blame for their shortcomings centrally upon the imbalance of distribution of financial resources and commerce in this nation. They would argue that their local powers are nullified because they don't have the tax base to fund their schools. They don't have the jobs because the corporate powers have shifted away from the places where they have power over the framework within which the corporation is forced to operate within. They don't have the health care for the people because our system prefers profits over people. The high prison incarceration rates are because the system sees them as a threat and thus makes laws to incarcerate them and then seeks to profit off of the warehousing of their people.

Their run upon the national government and the transformation of the system of financial resource distribution is purported to fix all of these problems that are listed.

They must battle against Corporate Supremacy in the capital space , White Supremacy and Religiosity in the Social Space. These three forces are (stereotypically) represented by the Republican Party. Thus the Republican Party is the manifestation of their enemy.

Their forward battle against Conservatism, Republicanism, Religiosity and Capitalism is a part of the milieu of "Progressive Struggle" that I spoke of earlier.


The Opposition to Progressivism / The Defense Of Self-Determination

Place yourself in the mind of the person who DID NOT VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA.

The man was running to be the President of the United States. Despite the normal administrative and legislative elements of this reality you also see a tidal wave of "hope and change" coming your way.

You look around the guy leading the masses to check out the people who stand behind him.

You see:

• Jesse Jackson
• Jay Z and Young Jeezy
• The Entertainers Who Created The "I Will Do What My President Needs Me To Do" video

You don't know Barack Obama.
You DO KNOW the people standing in his band of supporters.
By inference you know - "If this guy can make THEM HAPPY then he is bad news for your interests as YOU KNOW YOURSELF AND WHAT YOU BELIEVE".

You realize that you had better right the wave of "Hope and Change" or you are going to get rolled over.

Tea Parties opposing the tax increases and the attempts to grow the power of the federal government in health care. You have seen raucous protests against the immediate past president work to take the wind out of his sails. Why not use the same organizing efforts to let the news media spread your message to Americans, just as your ideological enemies did?


THE PROGRESSIVES STRIKE BACK / REFRAME THE ISSUE USING A STORM CLOUD PAINTED OVER THEIR OPPOSITION

As a Progressive Democrat loyalist you see your agent of "The Audacity of Hope" brought down to Earth. His poll numbers drop from the 60's down to 52% (depending upon the poll). This was not supposed to happen. You had the momentum like no other back in December and January. The image of the immediate past president was enough to silence your enemy. As the nation suffered through massive unemployment numbers as months ticked off - many of those who had euphoria no longer had jobs. Even the news media spin which made slowing erosion in the economy as "good news" could no longer tide you over.

You were not going to roll over the process and force your agenda after all.

There are people who disagree with you still left in this nation.

What tool is there left in your arsenal to counter their counter movements which is slowing your agenda?

"Why don't these people see the grand vision that we see?"
"Don't they know that we are actually INTENDING to help them?"
"Don't they know that they are standing against their own best interests?"

"What would possess them to stand against us and for the corporate enemy that actually stands for profits"?

There must be some force that is overriding their sensibilities and cause them to be so disagreeable to us!!!

• We have concluded that WE stand for truth
• We have concluded that WE have "God" on our side
• We have them profiled as "haters, oppressors and exploiters"
  

Since there is no LOGICAL reason for them to be so passionate against our views the only thing that we can think of to cause them to jump the LOGICAL LEAP - is for us to make a similar leap:

THEY MUST BE DRIVEN BY RACE AND RACISM!!!!!!



I personally don't blame the scoundrel for "going there".
After all this is high stakes politics. The important concept is THAT YOU HAVE WON, not how you have won.

The charge of RACISM is like a "Soft Tissue Injury".
Regardless of the X-Ray or MRI equipment that attempts to measure the pain yet fails to show the injury - the person that claims this pain is the OWNER of this pain. It is not for you to tell him about what he is experiencing.

I am knowledgeable of the line of thinking that goes into this.

This is why I work hard to develop a TRANSPARENT FRAMEWORK by which to manage and appraise these and other claims.

Absent a framework of evaluation of these claims we have a "Because that is what I believe it is. Can you PROVE that I am wrong" type of setup. The normal rules of evidence is thrown on its head. "You are guilty until you prove yourself innocent".

It is critical to show how marginal their claims are today. Gone are the lynching. Shots through the front windows. Fire bombs. Voter suppression.

If there is NOT a push back those forces will continue to drive their marginal claims until they, in fact, get what they want.

It is entirely legitimate for me who is skeptical of the motivations of the left to do a compare and contrast against the time in America when indeed there was no question about it - NO ONLY WAS RACISM THE MOTIVATION - THERE WAS BLOOD DRAWN IN THE PROCESS OF THEM HAVING THEIR WAY.
